Wow, this place is the best place to stay if you want to be right in action. The rooms are great, spacious, and modern. Being above the hotel is the best as the hotel always has the best live bands, and the place rocks. The food is also excellent, and the salad bar to have with your meal is great. Don't forget the lollies and desserts at the bar as well.

Wow Airlie beach hotel and the staff are absolutely amazing we stayed five nights the rooms were perfect, modern, spotlessly cleaned each day. As for noise considering we were located right above the main section of the hotel where there is lots of activity and music, live bands like sex and chocolate a Motown band who were unbelievably good we could not here a noise at all once our balcony door was closed ( slept like a baby ) the staff well they were all magnificent but a few that really went above and beyond to make us feel really special. Renee at reception is an absolute gem, Renee is the most accomplished host you could ask for so much so that we asked her to join us for dinner on our last night 11/10 for the nicest young lady we’ve met . Jon the barman in the main bar a complete gentleman who poured our drinks with a chat and a smile everyday and his product knowledge shows how much of a professional he is ( thank you ) lastly mark the manager an amazing work ethic this man is the ultimate professional the one percent things that mark does makes him the ultimate manger( our friend has a bad back straight away mark went from the sports bar to the restaurant and returned with a chair that was more suitable for our friends back) nothing is to much for mark again 11/10. Thank you staff and Airlie beach hotel we throughly loved our stay and will definitely be back

Wouldn’t recommend |When we got into our room the tv was on but no remote control. I called the the receptionist and he promised to look for it. After 45 minutes I went there but the reception was closed. It was 9 pm. If you travel with little kids or old parents/ people be prepare to go for a short walk as you ABSOLUTELY CAN NOT get a taxi from marina and the staff won’t help you. |At 7 am the noise of working car, stocking stuff from warehouse right next to the pool was so loud that we couldn’t sleep.

We visited the pub of the hotel during our cruise trip to Queensland. Very nice place to sit down (on the high chairs at the high table). Good choice of wines. We had a rose from New Zealand and a riesling from Tasmania. Good views also on the ocean.

We took the budget rooms ( not in the main hotel ) they were not cheap given the time of the season and not that great. Our rooms were located just by the bottle warehouse so we were treated to the continual racket of a fork lift truck charging around all day and starting up at circa 7 in the morning.|Location is fine.

Was a victim of some dangerous driving today, a semi with huge airlie beach hotel logo's cut me off , flashed lights and booked it at 110km it's Easter there is untold amounts of family's and kids on the road. OK whatever, it's likely a contractor that has nothing to do with the hotel itself. I call the front desk, rude dismissive staff tell me the manager is away and they have no idea when she will be back or available to take my call, super cagey and dodgy customer service. 1 minute later the manager Stacy calls me back, I offer to send her the dashcam footage so she can deal with it in house. Nothing. Incredibly poor customer service start to finish from A HOTEL I can only assume you can expect the same as a guest.

Very busy the night we were there. We were told upfront it would be an hours wait for meal service. That was fine as there is an all you can eat buffet included, so we helped ourselves to some sides to tide us over and had a couple of drinks. Eventually my meal arrived. I have to say it was quite easily the worst meal I’ve ever had. The chicken was way over cooked. It should have come with a steak knife, possibly a chainsaw, as it was so dry and tough.I couldn’t even get through half of it.My son enjoyed his steak, but the chips had a little too much seasoning for his liking. I’m not saying don’t go there, just stay away from chicken dishes. I’m not sure they know how to cook it.We weren’t staying there so I can’t comment on their accomodation. The staff were very friendly and overall it’s a nice place. I was just very disappointed with my meal after such a long wait.

This hotel was lovely. Greeted with very helpful staff and the restaurant was fabulous. Great food and live music nightly. The room was great size with coffee maker, fresh water replenished daily. Lovely little pool which had shaded areas as the temp was very high

This Hotel is in an excellent location, at the heart of the Town Centre and very close to restaurants and shops. The Hotel staff will arrange transfers from the airport to/from the Hotel. Contrary to other reports read on Tripadvisor we found the staff to be accommodating and helpful - I suppose it all boils down to how they are treated in the first place. We were given an upgrade to a room at the back of the Hotel after we had booked a ‘Motel’ style room in a separate part of the property, where there were around 7 steps to negotiate and no lift. They didn’t need to do that but as we are in our 70’s, it was a nice gesture. There is no breakfast provided but there are cafes and restaurants a short distance away who provide breakfast. Go and see the lovely ‘Abi’ at theVillage Cafe for a good quality breakfast at a reasonable price. Some people choose to save on breakfast and eat lunch instead. Otherwise the Hotel provides good food at reasonable prices in the ‘Pub’ restaurant attached. A lot of reviews mention noise from the loud music played at the Sports Bar and ‘Pub’ restaurant. This is true and it is somewhat unnecessary, as you cannot have a reasonable conversation when eating. In addition some reviews mention that the rooms at the front of the Hotel are noisy for the same reason. If you don’t like noise then I would suggest asking for a room at the rear. We had room 314 and could not hear anything. The owner/manager is a larger than life individual who makes everyone feel very welcome. Overall I would thoroughly recommend this hotel.

Stayed four nights Excellent location comfortable beds and nice balcony with view. Iconic institution with amazing history. Have given low mark because of the shower which is inside the bath. There are no handles to hold onto, is slippery and is very dangerous. First time I've seen this. Also from lounge to bathroom there's a small step we tripped on. Went flying. Also don't believe the dishes were washed well. Although there are tea facilities a small microwave would have been great.

Stayed a night in the main part of the hotel which was 5 stars all the way. A second night in the family unit was not as great. 3 stars. The hotel bottle store music blasts out until 10pm which is ridiculous being adjacent to family units. And the bathroom fan didn't work which made for a steamy damp bathroom. Service at front desk was superb.

Staff make this place great. Checking in was simple, food was excellent, great steaks, perfect location.||Room was great considering the age and how busy this place gets.||Sound proofing of rooms was good, could also open the door and listen to the band downstairs.

Paying fully for location but rooms and facilities were tired, probably would have gone elsewhere for the price. Its central and nice views but was not a relaxing location I wanted by the beach as music was blaring constantly day and night and couldn't relax by the pool as it felt like a nightclub all day.

Only had a short one night stay at the hotel. We stayed in the older but renovated motel side closer to the bottle shop. Room was clean and tidy. Beds were comfortable. Good location with everything walking distance from the hotel. Staff were friendly and helpful. Some downside to the room was the blinds aren’t great and you do get the light through from the carpark and just a personal one shower curtains aren’t my favourite. Also if you stay in the older part it was outside parking.

Not too bad for the price, very humble rooms, clean and light. No safes in the rooms to my big surprise. My impression from the hotel was soiled by cheap and nasty scented candles lit in the reception area. It was hard not to vomit from this odour.

Nice hotel right on the beach, BUT it's very noisy. The pub on the ground floor has a loud PA music system, and the bass vibrates through the rooms. If you are out for most of the day and come back late at night, then it shouldn't be a problem.

Lots of food options available & cooked to perfection. Plenty of areas within the hotel to sit & enjoy views of the beach, listen to music or people watch. Service in all areas is fast, efficient & friendly. The courtesy bus for ABH members is great, thanks mark for all the tourist tips

I had my 18th in Airlie and we went to the Airlie Beach hotel for drinks and to listen to live music after dinner, such a good vibe. The bar staff were amazing. The live music was spectacular. So much fun. Everyone was so accommodating. Highly recommend :)

Great place to stay, but how do they justify charging $6.50 for a glass of soda water with a slice of lime. So much for sober bob !! It's just a glass of aerated 💧

For the volume of traffic to this tourist area this hotel is well maintained. ||The rooms are very spacious. I loved that you could open the sliding door to allow the fresh air in, look at the fabulous view of the islands, ocean, birds and what nature has to offer! ||Can see this location would be a hit in the warmer months!

Every inch of this hotel is impeccable! What a credit to the owners / management and staff.|Every little detail has been thought of.|Lovely comfortable bed , shampoo, conditioner, body wash, shaving cream, room darkening curtains. Even the hallways have beautiful planters, stainless corner protectors. Amazing view, the whole complex is a credit and a well oiled immaculate machine. The pool area, gardens, bottle shop, restaurant, reception area ! Just brilliant! We will be back…

Disappointing Customer Service Experience at Airlie Beach Hotel I recently checked in at the Airlie Beach Hotel, and I must say I was extremely disappointed by the rude behavior of the lady at the reception. Her tone and attitude were disrespectful and unwelcoming, leaving a sour taste in our mouths. I had high expectations for the Airlie Beach Hotel, considering its reputation as one of the best hotels in the Whitsundays. However, my experience with the staff has made me reconsider that reputation. Customer service should be the cornerstone of any tourism industry establishment, especially one claiming to be a 4-star hotel. It is truly disheartening to encounter such poor treatment as a guest. I hope the management takes this feedback seriously and works towards improving their customer service standards. Until then, I cannot recommend the Airlie Beach Hotel to fellow travellers looking for a pleasant and welcoming stay in the Whitsundays. I still cannot believe that I have been treated like this way from a front of house staff at a hotel.

Could not fault the rooms, food, service or location. I stay here for work once or two each year and keep coming back. Great staff and so close to all things Airlie.

Came here for a Saturday lunch, they’ve done a great job at refurbishing this place and is very inviting! Food was delicious and great entertainment. However, the prices for drinks and food are astronomical, cheaper drinks in Brisbane city. I would avoid here unless your pockets are deep.

Beautiful hotel and bar. Stayed in one of the older room facing the courtyard, all rooms were freshly renovated, bed comfortable, strong A/C. No noise what's over at night, had a great experience here. Facilities were great, the pool is nested in the back with plenty of chairs to lay on and the laundry was really handy. The restaurant offered a typical pub food menu, I would say only downsize is drinks we're definitely overpriced.

A strange experience. Before I even arrived I was asked to get my financial team from work to sign a document stating they were paying for the trip. I’m a regional manager and travel every couple of weeks and this is a first. I then asked if I could have a half an hour late check out and told it would be $50, $100 for an hour. Again, I spend my life in hotels, never have I been asked to pay for half an hour, and it’s the slowest month of the year. Went to dinner, steak was okay but expensive and I found not 1 but 2 hairs. An accident, it happens, I know, but never again. Back to coral sea resort for me.

According to my wife, I had a great night here listening to the band and chatting to the staff. I even got up to dance😱. I do know the staff are incredibly friendly and the security staff ensure you have a great evening. I didn't eat here, but everything looked amazing. Would love to visit again with the family. Maybe one day.
