Went To Kent St. Cartel Pub. It was an amazing experience, Vibe was awesome and live singer was making it perfect. Food also was tasty and in right portion. Really enjoyed the food and time spent here.

We had great meals on two different occasions. Chef certainly knows how to cook. Service was friendly and prompt. Well done everyone.

Very friendly service, attentive, and responsive the food, well it’s pub food. But pretty good.

Unfortunately, our visit to Albion Place Hotel was not up to par. We were really looking forward to having a hearty steak with mash and veggies, but to our surprise, the only side options available were fries and salad. This was a major letdown for us. To make matters worse, the prices were insanely high for what we received. The Dirty Double burger was a shock to us when it came out, as the portion size was extremely small and the quality of the food was lacking. The beef patties were a bit dry and there wasn't enough fries or sauce. It's such a shame because the atmosphere and live entertainment at Albion Place Hotel are fantastic. Bonnie Kellet was amazing and definitely the highlight of our visit. All in all, we would not recommend this restaurant for its poor food quality and overpriced menu. We were very disappointed with our experience and will not be returning.

The food I ordered online went to another table and had to inform the front team that we didn't receive the food. But team gave a free drink and more in my order without asking.. thank you... tbh I am a shy person and would never ask for more.... or I would never come back or rate low on reviews... But she was so professional and thank youbthe manger lady in Sydney brach. Youvare amazing and I will not only come back but also get my frienda ve there too.

The chicken skewers were slightly uncooked but the price justified the portion and taste 🥂do visit and have a good time.

Rude waitress on Sunday afternoon shift. Highly intolerant and likes making fun of customers for others to over hear. One of the customers mistook the 'empty cup with the water' for his drink and asked what it was. The waitress snapped at him that it was the tip jar! It was empty with no money in it and had no indication that it was tip jar. There was no need to be so snarky and ask other customers in the line - 'did you see that, so dumb' The drinks and space is great. But it takes one service staff to kill the ambience.

Ordered the nachos while with two girlfriends, chips were stale, salsa tasted like the cheap stuff you get out of a can. Staff were staring us down as we were sitting in the outdoor section and all in all it was not worth the money.

Nice place to linger out of busy times when it’s a nice place to relax and people watch the passing stream of humanity. $15 steak or fish’n’chips meal and drink was on point for value - not good, not bad.

Nice pizza! Good beer selection. Staff very friendly. Watch out for the chicken wings: 18 bucks for 6 spindly midwings. Don't buy that menu item... And the upstairs toilet needs some work.

Located in George Town this place is a bar and restaurant, the bar is at the ground level and restaurant is on two levels, the food is simply delicious and lip smacking and I want to visit this place more often, the staff is courteous, if you are here don't miss the steak which is out of this world.

It’s a bit of a dodgy city pub but hygiene seems to be fine and the new outdoor seating by the tram line is pretty neat and has a bit of a “European” feel. As does the $8 pint of Stella during Happy Hour which is hard to beat!

It isn't easy finding a cheap lunch in Sydney these days and Albion hotel delivered beautiful Chicken Schnitzel for just $9.90. Which is cheaper than what most of the foodcourts are offering in Sydney CBD. Mushroom gravy was great, and ladies were beautiful. It's a good place for Friday lunch and mini burgers. Update 2022: Their new corn chips are very nice

I never do reviews unless positive, BUT.... Nachos were disgraceful! Asked for extra sour cream on the side, they sent aioli (??). Chips were soggy, had to scavenge for a crisp one. NO meat. Also, patches throughout pub that reaked like vomit as walking through (Obviously after we ordered) Extremely disappointing!

I had a fantastic time at Albion Bar while watching a FIFA Women's World Cup football game. The first thing that caught my attention was the impressive giant screen they had set up for the match, and to my delight, there was no entry fee to enjoy the game there. It was a perfect spot for sports enthusiasts like me! As for the food and drinks, I couldn't have been happier. I ordered a beer and a steak, both of which were top-notch in quality and taste. The option to order through their website was convenient, and I was pleased to see that my order was promptly delivered to my table without any issues. The ability to customize how I wanted my steak prepared (I chose well done) was a nice touch, ensuring that my dining experience was exactly as I preferred. If you're looking for a great place to enjoy watching your favorite sports, I highly recommend Albion Bar. With their impressive giant screen, delicious food options, and user-friendly website for ordering, it's a winning choice for any sports fan. Whether it's for football, or any other game, you're guaranteed to have an enjoyable time. Cheers to Albion Bar for providing a memorable sports viewing experience!

Haven’t been back to Albion for such a very long time. This time I just want to highlight from the food side. They do have different kitchen as before. Now Albion is home of “kent street cartel” that offering awesome burger and some other goodies smokehouse items and fried South Carolina chicken. Burger, $10 ( special Wednesday )as I mention above, it was awesome, generous amount of well seasoned chips and the Beef patti, slice pickled gherkin, cheese combo was amazing as it is. Fried chicken ribs $16, it’s good for nibble with friends, meaty juicy chicken ribs, coated in a little spicy coating, drizzled with guava ketchup which taste amazing, and garnished with coriander.

Food is amazing and reasonable price. The cocktail menu has a lot of options. My favorite was the Spicy Margarita. The service was awesome, all the staff were friendly and helpful. They had a DJ who was great. Upstairs for smokers which is quiet and has the sports on the tv, easy to have a chat with friends and chill. Really great vibe here.

Finished up from my work meeting and decided to have a few drinks at the Albion Place hotel. I noticed they had a new kitchen and a new menu in place and decided to give it a try. The food and deserts here are amazing. Ordered a Grilled Barramundi fillet and a side of sweet potato fries and a dessert sharing platter. Food quality 10/10 Presentation 10/10 Cleanliness 10/10 I will definitely be returning with my family so they can try the amazing menu here. Staff, managers and security are great with awesome customer service. Great Location to have a few drinks and a delicious meal will definitely be returning. Thank you Albion place hotel for an awesome experience!

Best Service from Amsan who was working on 19/01/24 as a bartender. Brilliant cocktail served with a great smile. Good vibes. Nonetheless, he needs a helping hand on busy Friday evenings though. Will be back for more drinks.

A lovely lunchtime experience. Just arrived in Sydney a bit early to check in, so we went in search of a bottle is bubbles and some charm. A short walk from our hotel we found this place, it was just opening and had a gloomy charm. We sat outside watching all and sundry mosey past… what a wonderful place to people watch! Lunch was tidy, really affordable lunch specials and the blasting music from the fashion joint across the road added to the ambiance! Please try the roast pumpkin and blue cheese bruschetta, it is DIVINE!

Albion Place Hotel reminds me of the old comedy show Cheers, “where everybody knows your name”. It’s a local pub for me where everyone is super welcoming. I have never met a staff member that I don’t respect and the security team are so friendly that I come back just for a friendly chat just to say “Hi! 👋🏻” and have a quick drink. Wishing you all a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year to everyone! Love Scott 🫶

A friend and I came here tonight. The large, bearded bouncer gave us a bad look straightaway and asked us how much we'd had to drink - based on nothing. It was 6.30 and we'd literally just come from the office. I don't even drink due to stomach surgery. My friend just wanted to have an after work pint before we went to the movies nextdoor. My friend said we hadn't had anything, and the bouncer just looked at him suspiciously. He then asked for our IDs. I'm 37 years old. My friend is 35. The bouncer then took my ID and started looking at it suspiciously, turning it over, looking at the back, taking forever, giving me bad looks. It was pathetic. I then joked and said, "Don't worry, dude. I was 17 twenty years ago." My friend laughed. The bouncer then handed my ID back and said, "It's okay. You guys can go to a bar down the road" and told us both to F off. The guy was keen to do whatever it took to turn us out, apparently. Bouncers are a representation of any establishment. I'd been to this place quite a few times in the past, and the barstaff are really cool. But when people are just wanting to come to your bar to spend money, hiring aggressive, antisocial bouncers, who turn you away just for the fun of it, it isn't a good look. Seeing as we did nothing, then I'm guessing he does this often, but don't let him. Do what I wish I did and call the manager over and get the prick to explain it to them instead. See how he goes.
