What great service! Our meals came out separately and we had to wait a little while for one meal we were given complimentary drinks, while we waited. When the food did arrive it was delicious. We will definitely return!

We visited Wed evening into the Blue Bar for a meal with good friends. We were fine for drinks, but my mate was shocked his go-to beer, "a VB," was no longer available in that bar.
He was saved as the lady in the bar went for a jog into the next bar & returned with a VB, a couple of times.
Our food order was taken & my wife & I ordered two meals (1 entree & 1 main from the specials board.) The arancini balls were supurb, but the Chicken curry was only a small meal for a main. I would have thought it could have done with a second spoon of the curry. Tastes were fine, but size was a disappointment. The S & P Calamari, my wife ordered, was beautiful & a good size.

went to karaoke on wednesday night it was amazing the manager jessa is awesome will be back :)

Went the blue bar for tea and had the Vietnamese salad with beef, very nice. Met the new Venue Manager Jessa, such a warm friend helpful person, what an asset to this hotel 10 out of 10

We come here as often as we can. Excellent food every time. Beautiful Tash is amazing. She goes above and beyond to look after us. Always a pleasure seeing her.

We ate here on New Years day as not many other places were open and we had a nice experience! For entree we shared the trio of dips which was delicious, and for drinks we shared a Pimms jug which was also nice. For mains I had a pumpkin pizza and my husband had the lobster gnocci, which were both nice. Great little spot for lunch/afternoon tea or drinks. 🙂

We always come here for lunch when we stay on the coast. We ordered 2 dozen kilpatrick oysters and a bowl of Mooloolaba prawns. Prawns were lovely! The oysters were unfortunately tiny! Had to dig around in the sauce to find them! At $47 a dozen I’m still annoyed we were served them! I spoke to the waitress who in turn spoke with the chef’. She mentioned he said the usual supplier had sent them smaller oysters! Why wasn’t this mentioned to us when the order was placed?? We would not have ordered them! They happily sent us out below par produce at premium prices then offered us a free drink to compensate!! Don’t see how that was even remotely comparable to the value of our order!

We all had the seafood chowder, very disappointed as there was potatoes, bacon and creamy soup. The seafood passed over the bowl but didn't stop

Very nice place Great atmosphere.Friendly staff very helpful....awesome location. Recommend Alexandra headlands cabins to Family and Friends as it was Recommended and suggested by my daughter.Will be coming back😀

Unfortunately our experience was far from good - there wasn't a table ready for our booking, there was no hurry to actually organise a table, we had a further hour wait on our food, but worst of all some of the food served wasn't fresh - the vegetables had mould yet still put on our plate, hair in the food, and the kids ice-cream was also old with a thick layer of ice. Very disappointing.

The service was amazing! All staff were looking happy and vibrant. Steak is the best one I had in so long. I really recommend this place and it’s just across the road from the beach!!!

Sports bar is just ok. A large proportion is the tab. Not open air so not a great spot to take in the views whilst having a beer.
There's a pool table here but the place could do with a pinball machine as well.

Spent a week up here playing AFL Football and this place quickly became the favourite venue. Relaxed atmosphere and food was good but it was the friendly service of Amy that kept us coming back. What a star! A fantastic personality and she looked after us. Highly recommend and keep an eye out for Amy.

Nice Menu option (all day, doesn't change apart from Specials Board). Reasonably priced food and drinks, Seniors Meals are great portions for the price! Really lovely atmosphere for a DAY out, not so much after 7pm (attracts a few undesirables). Good selection of Pokies (which don't pay Ha Ha). Great Public Bar and TAB! Nice local pub to relax and enjoy an unwind drink and good food.

I would give this place more stars if we could, seriously, whatever you pay the chef, it isn't enough. The food was amazing, the salad was incredible. And the price was reasonable even on a public holiday. We are coming back here again for sure. Thank you so much guys!

Have had some great nights at the Alex Hotel.
Karaoke on a Wednesday is fun and awesome atmosphere.
I love the fact that staff have praised the new manager after only being there for a few weeks.

Had the Oysters Kilpatrick.
They were so plump & a good size.
Would thoroughly recommend them.
Always have a great meal here.

Had lunch with some friends , ordered the rib fillet as did my friend , calamari , garlic bread and humpty doo barramundi.
Food was excellent, nicely plated , service was first class , nice happy faces which is always pleasant .
Later had drinks and a bet in the sports bar , which was great plenty of tvs for the races nrl afl .
The quality hot food snacks that the venue manager Jessa put on was a pleasant surprise to all .
Thoroughly enjoyable day .

Great little place for a relaxing drink, staff were great especially Sam- made the experience very enjoyable and fun! Will be back to enjoy this place next time I'm up in Queensland! Plus I will be telling everyone to visit!

Food was prepared quickly and delivered with a smile. Forgot to mention was staying at the Oaks for the discount, but will tonight. Looking forward to trying the seafood platter as the steak sandwich and Avo Pammy were amazing. Highly recommend

Ate here twice during our stay. Everyone had steak and they were cooked perfectly. We didn’t have a bookings but the girls shuffled a few tables to get us in as all the outside tables were underwater due to the storms

Amy was amazing! Putting up with a group of annoying Victorian’s for a week. With a huge smile and no request was too much. Great service good food and fun atmosphere. A must go to when visiting the area

Always can rely on The Alex Headland Hotel to serve up a treat on a Sunday morning. The staff are always helpful and the venue is always kept neat and tidy. The coffee is perfection, alfresco dining options with wind guards. Prices here are always fair. Will be back!

Absolutely beautiful dinner! My parents and I dined here on a Wednesday night during holidays. Meals were extremely quick and all three meals recieved positive feed back. I had the barramundi and it was a solid 10 and I'm pretty hard to please. Huge compliments to all staff especially the girl behind the bar who was extremely patient with me and the chef who created our meals!
