Went there for a night at beef, food and service was amazing. Staff were lovely. Molly went above and beyond to make sure we were all looked after and happy

We had great meals at reasonable prices. Well set up with inside and outside dining areas. The staff we had were very friendly and helpful

We came to lunch today to celebrate our 34th Wedding Anniversary. The food was great and Jodie and his team were wonderful. I won a $30 meal voucher which we used. Had a great time.

We came for Xmas drinks, and I was nearly charged 35 dollars had I not noticed and then I said no, that's not right I have one drink. The bartender then said he didn't pay before , which was my partner. I was like you did not tell me or even say, so I went and spoke to the manager and said that was not the right thing to do, at least tell me. He did not apologize or anything. Disappointed and watch what you pay there.

Vist on 16 March 24 for dinner with wife and friends while, staying for one night in Rockhampton.
Was so impressed with the friendly staff,facilities and service.
Meals we ordered was outstanding and came out in quick time.
Choices on Menu was outstanding.
Guinness Pie Mash with beer I had, steak Sandwich my wife had was outstanding.
Would recommend the Allenstown for lunch or dinner to anyone.
Will go back when we are staying in Rockhampton next time.

Very impressed, restaurant was just closing, but they took orders anyway, awesome, as we had the family with us. And very impressed with the serves, our grand kids found the burgers just the right size. Nice and clean and well presented. 👌

Service was quick and food was great!!! Best cheesy garlic/bacon bread we have had in a long time! Chicken party had thick ham/bacon on it and the mushroom gravy was great! Salt and pepper calamari was beautiful as a topper to the perfectly cooked rare steak !!!! Lovedddd

Only been to dinner here once or twice but it's definitely a place to revisit over and over again!
The service is always friendly and nice, the atmosphere is quite pleasant with a nice mix of pub/restaurant feel to it and the food is absolutely sublime! Cooked on point every time.

My husband and I only have a couple beers there but everything was good and the atmosphere of this place is great. Highly recommended!

My husband and I had lunch here today and the meal was absolutely divine. The staff were super friendly and the atmosphere was very pleasant. We will be back as we really enjoyed our experience.

Low rating for the app. Twice in a row ( two different nights and places) I ordered food and waited and it wasn't even getting made because it didn't come through on the docket. Clearly the app has a few glitches still.

Held a Wake in the upstairs room on the 19/3/24. The platter sizes were pathetic and embarrassing for the price that was paid for each platter. Management should be ashamed.

Had to call 4 times to get an answer.
Was told that my attitude was a problem when trying to make a booking for a function. Prior to this statement I was calm and expressing how to pay in person was difficult as I do not live in Rockhampton. The payment process is inaccessible requiring payment in person and was told by workers there were no other options such as paying over the phone because “the internet is bad” and Woolworths provides no other alternative.
The customer service workers were understandably frustrated that I was taking their time and were just doing their job. Unfortunately Woolworths don’t provide accessible payment options and leave their workers in positions where they need to explain this to frustrated potential customers who trying to pay via any other option other than in person.
Thank you for your time, but I will be taking my business elsewhere if you’re unable to accept my payment from another location within Australia.
It’s a shame because it looked like a great venue with decent food from what I could see online and the information provided.

Had lunch with my mother and aunty. While the menu had a good selection, we were disappointed to find it no longer had the grazier's pie (I think that is was it is usually called) on it. We did have steak sandwiches instead tho, they were very nice and well worth it. The staff were great and the bistro area was clean and pleasant. Will be back again.

Had 1 and a half hours to get a feed and get back to the hospital while my sone had surgery. Food came out within 10 minutes, made it so much easier to have a good meal while we waited. Thank you.

Great place to eat! Awesome service; excellent food (Tomahawk steak with veggies) and bar staff made me a Whiskey Sour which was as very, very good !
Our table of six was well attended to by the friendly staff and even though we had no booking we were welcomed and made to feel like nothing was a problem.
Highly recommended by everyone in our party!

Food was fast, beer was cold and the food tasted amazing. All well my children played on the playground. Staff were also helpful.

Dinner was incredible, service was amazing especially the lady behind the bar, assisting me quickly and with a smile always. Even when I stabbed myself with a fork stupidly. Just overall amazing night

Delicious steaks in the bar for good prices. Footy on the big screen. Pool table. Great spot to go with a few mates.

Came for dinner and was sorely disappointed. Ordered nachos, which were covered in bacon, not stated on menu. I dont eat pork. Swapped with my partners steak sandwich, renoved bacon. Bread was cold and minute steak was a 3rd gristle.

Best grilled fish I've had in a long time - mouth watering. Good bar & table service - very courteous & accommodating for our senior group's monthly pub lunch. Good prices for seniors too. I shall return soon.

Beer was cold, staff were nice, but possibly the worst piece of fish I've ever been served. Since the chicken parm had the same crust, I'm guessing the fryer oil hasn't been changed recently. Also received a grand total of 12 chips hidden under my fish plank. Soggy as the day is hot.

Amazing steak, i would definitely recommend their peppercorn sauce its the best ive had in ages. The me&u table service was really easy and convenient to use. I wish i could come back here 7 days a week

4 around the one table, bit tight for room. Best to book table for 6 people even if there is only 4 bigger table then.
