What an awesome venue! Opposite Alma Bay for a beautiful swim. Arcade, swimming pool and large function area. Sports bar, bistro & TAB. Cody & I ordered a Pizza, it waa huge and great value for $22.00 (we brought it home for pizza breakfast before hitting the road!)

We went for the weekly road race. Really fun activity! Would def recommend, and do again.

We visited this place on Steak Night. The Steak, Chips and Salad were fine for 18 $. But:
- We were the first ones who ordered that night and received our food 40 minutes later after other guests already received their steaks. The lady at the counter messed up our order number and the steaks were not hot anymore. No appologies or anything by the staff.
- While eating a bird flew down and stole one of the steaks from the plate.
If you don‘t care about good and caring service go visit this place.

We came here for trivia night. It was a great atmosphere in the pub and good fun. Food was great! Beers were nice and cold and reasonably priced!

Was a good atmosphere, and the bar is good. Service and food was a major let down, ordered two pizzas to our table, one arrived and we were told we would get a call for the second. 30 minutes later we went up to the food counter looking for an update on the second pizza and were told that the pizza oven has been turned off. We got our pizza another while later but it was missing the rocket (prosciutto and rocket pizza). No refund or even apology offered. Pretty disappointing, won’t be returning.

Very nice place to visit but we wasted half our day on our Magnetic Island visit waiting for food, nearly 2 hours waiting time for only fish and chips just isn't acceptable in one of the main restaurants on a tourist hotspot day trip island like this one but kids need feeding and we never thought we'd be waiting soooooooo long for such simple and basic meals? Was insane!
I'd suggest visiting here for a drink or refreshments stop only but DO NOT order any food, and if you do really get a solid answer on the time you'll wait, otherwise like us, your entire day will be wasted!!
The big tree in the center of a roundabout near where we got off the day trip bus was a very impressive thing to look at and walking out onto the beach flats behind this place was nice, could see different rock settings and it was a fancier flat sea bed area all round compared to other areas we visited around the island.

Very friendly pub, lovely people and staff. Nice inside and out. Variety of good drinks and cocktails. Different events on on different nights, great atmosphere.

The pizza was quite good, unfortunately the Chicken Parmi was pretty average. It was a bit quite when I visited, but it looks like the atmosphere would be great when a bit more lively.

Rib fillet steak, Chicken Tomato stew with Rice. Well cooked to what I asked. Good portion size. Beautiful breeze topped off with a lemon line and bitters. Staff where excellent and had a good sense of humour.

Really like this place for a pub lunch and relaxing time. It's got nice outdoor seating area with views of the pool. Enjoy beers or coffee from the corner coffee shop. Quaint shops nearby and the ocean can be seen and heard sitting on the balcony with a few beers.

Really disappointed. Phoned 2 weeks ago to confirm toad racing was on both Wednesdays over school holidays. Was told it would definitely be on. Booked to come to the island to find it wasn't on with state of Origin. Staff should know. Dont rely on the information they give you.

Ordered Chicken Schitnels, for our dinner didn't mind the wait, sticky table my husband had to clean as we could see how busy the staff were, BUT after looking forward to a good feed the food looked and tasted like burnt rubber horrible. The owner was sitting close by and I only hope your manners to your friends and food was more acceptable than ours your a very rude man 🤮

I’ve been multiple times to this family pub and each time has been an absolute pleasure. Great food and drink for a good price. Really nice atmosphere with a large resort-like swimming pool for customers. Very friendly and welcoming staff. Plenty of gluten free and vegetarian options too

I’ve been here multiple times in the last 3 weeks. Every time the food has been magnificent, friendly staff, great service and the atmosphere second to none. Do yourself a favour and bring the family here for the day. You won’t be disappointed. Thank you. I’ll be back often. 👍👍👍👍👍

Had lunch here and a few drinks. Busy place. Service was good. This place has different events on some nights eg frog races.

great place to relax after exploring
and seeing the rock wallabies, too.
beverages and lunch were good, is
on expensive side (45 minute wait),
for lunch to arrive and was not bad.
calm atmosphere, when not busy &
odd curlews being noisy / roaming,
there's a mini arcade to play in too.

GREAT ATMOSPHERE
@ Ordered & ate meals while listening & guessing answeres to trivia questions. Waiter so happily captured a photo of us. Then we met some more friendly locals at the smoking area on our way out. Big hugs to the saff!

Feels like home away from home, always welcoming atmosphere with something going on and all patrons and staff are beyond lovely.
Great theme nights; toad racing, bingo, trivia etc & raffles / prizes for the locals.
Amazingly priced meals & suburb quality .. steak night & roasts are my favourite and also quite possibly the nicest chicken burgers I've ever experienced in my life.

Everything was so cool, who though of having a pool at a pub? Not me.
The kookburras may try and steel you food but don't worry the staff will save you with their watering to shoot them away.
The kids game room was a little hot form all the machines going.
But the TOAD races, I'm going back just for the races as a first timer to the toad races it was so cool watching people bet hundreds of dollars on a toad, but it all goes to a good cause!
Loved everything the food the atmosphere everything!

Cold beer friendly staff and great views, has gaming and gambling facilities big open area for sitting around watching the world go by.

Came here three times during my trip to magnetic island. The seafood bowl was good quality & fresh. The chicken schnitzel was a decent size and as expected for a pub lunch. Fresh salad and crisp chips on both occasions.
Unfortunately for my third trip I decided not to stay as the bistro line was huge and there was an expected wait of 1 hour.
For lunch I'd say the dining experience is good value but I'd steer clear during dinner service.

Called in to the hotel for a late linch. Had the Calamari, which was delicious and a dish I can highly recommend.
Beer was cold, service efficient and the surroundings quite pleasant.
Why then may you ask did I give the establishment a one 🌟rating…
The answer is quite simple. My other reason for visiting was to speak with the Manager to see if I could use their pool, for therapeutic purposes, along with a payment offer.
I enquired at the main bar, if I could have a quick word with the boss. After providing the barmaid with an over view, she went off to speak with said manager.
On her return, she informed me that he refused to see me as he was far too busy doing paperwork, and had no time to speak to me.
The barmaid suggested that I come back some other day and the manager might be available to see me.
I wont be returning!
If he can’t find the time to put the paperwork aside for 5 minutes to talk to me, when I made the time and effort to drive down to see him, then I sure as hell wont be chasing around after him.
If he considers paperwork to be far more important than dealing with a customer, then he is both a poor manager and a lousy businessman.
So along with a lousy review he has he lost myself and my friends as clients and lost out on an opportunity to increase his revenue flow, from the proposal I had authority to offer.
He needs to learn that paperwork will wait, whereas customers wont.
In summary, I found his actions to be rude and disrespectful.
It is, as always up to you, the reader, of this review to make your own assessment of my comments.
But for me I do not accept nor tolerate rudeness or being disrespected. So 🌟 Star is all it gets, end of story.

Bloody brilliant place. Atmosphere great with an awesome Queensland feel. Staff lovely and food great! Cane toad races just topped it off. Great event for a great cause. A must visit while on island.

Acadia Village Hotel is simply amazing. Had few drinks with my partner on New Year's Eve while watching live band too before heading to Nelly Bay to watch fireworks. Please have a stop there and check the place out if you happen to visit Magnetic Island

Absolutely fabulous place to eat and drink, something happening everyday, great for families as child friendly with a swimming pool to cool down

Absolutely appalling meal and service!!
Food not cooked - served raw meat .. Blue when asked for medium rare and medium rare when asked for well done - salad was just lettuce, buns on burgers 3 day old stale. And to actually get your meal you have to wait 90mins and constantly request ‘when is it ready’ when told 1/2hr. Had to change order twice due to not having enough ingredients. Care factor was Zero by the cook staff.
The food came out all messed up!!! Not all together - entrees with mains - no condiments. Told there was no gravy then when advised of cancellations they produced gravy in a take away container. Chicken strips were bland with no seasoning - chicken burgers were disgusting even to look at.
For a popular tourist destination my family and I were absolutely appalled!
Will not be back to eat there at all!!
Bar staff were lovely though!
