We had a lovely meal ,awsome crunchy onion rings and unreal Pulled pork roll and chips ,very friendly staff, well done to all .

Was told by locals its the best pizza. Hubby loved it, I loved the crispy crust but couldn't take a single thing on it except anchovies. Looked and smelt awesome. We got one with the lot including egg and pineapple bit you wouldnt have known. Friendly staff and locals

Very disappointed, kitchen staff great, Bar staff need to be trained by them. Bar staff are extremely Rude and not Friendly at all. And in the gaming area, it feels like your going to be Robbed at anytime by the type of people in lingering around. Think twice before going.

This is a nice place with a friendly atmosphere. The staff are very friendly and welcoming. The Parma was pretty good and quality chips.

The price, the food, EVERYTHING. You cannot get it better than this place. It has everything for everyone coming in. Absolutely amazing experience wouldn’t want to stay anywhere else in Griffith.

The lamb shank tasted great but I was disappointed in the serving size, so needed to buy a couple of McDonald's burgers on the way home to top up. Normally I'd expect to be content after a $24 lamb shank meal, especially from a regional town bistro.

The big islander bloke in the bar and gaming area is rude and disrespectful. The drinks and food are way over priced and not worth what they charge.
As for the accommodation, its crappy low standard and not fit for a homeless drunk.
I would not reccomended this venue to anyone.

Sat night and our guys were out early since in was there 14th day off(Sunday) was drinking with our guys vodka and white was ordered for 5 guys, bar tenders must have presumed they where all drunk didn't take into fact I wasn't served us all lemonade and when confronted tried to say it wasn't and they had been more than generous all night to the guys. (How does more than generous even come into play!!?) anyways won't be setting foot in here again!!

Ordered from the bistro. The meal came with bacon which was not specified on the menu. I mentioned I can’t eat swine. Chef just said “that just how it comes”.

Not being able to get a draught beer in Victoria because of the Virus 5 of us headed here for a few days & found The Area Pub great,basic Accommodation,but good for the $ & Hana behind the Bar so pleasant , will come again !

Love the ginger beer on tap with lime mmmm. Outside atmosphere good. Pub feed good. Overall atmosphere good but still has that pub atmosphere.

It's a nice pub, exciting menu but average execution of those dishes.
The front isn't anything spectacular but go inside and there is a fairly decent atmosphere.
We were there for dinner. The menu had some awesome looking food on it. I had the pork belly and a friend had the crispy skin salmon (more like blackened skin). The execution of those dishes left a bit to be desired. Everything was eatable it just wasn't fantastic. Very average. I'd go again to try some of the other menu items like the Texas fries or one of the pizzas

I think I had a cold one with the ball n chain in tow. She was happy I was happy and the staff and other patrons that I observed there seemed happy too. What a nice happy place hey.

I had a chicken burger and chips, and for desert I went with sticky date pudding.
The chicken burger was a little let down. Too much avacado and not enough chicken.
The desert was a little let down. The pudding was most to touch, but on the dry side when eating. The crumby thing with the desert tasted like crayons and Play-Doh.
Other than the love affair I had with the chips and tangy sauce on the burger, the best part was the beer to wash it all down.
3.5 stars from me.

Have visited this Mint hotel in the main Street if Griffith while staying in the town for work. Food is great in the bistro. Bar is good. Staff are excellent..Pokie room nice. Gets busy on Saturday nights. Great pub now we finally out of lockdown.

Had dinner with my fiance and the food was amazing.
The salt and pepper calamari is by far the best we have ever had.
Their pasta and steak and chips were cooked to perfection and with fantastic flavour.
Thanks for an amazing experience guys.

Great staff, always smiling faces, good range of poker machines, separate quite and private seating if you want one on one or just out with the boys or girls! TAB, and betting facilities. Perfect for a quiet one after work or go all out with the mates. Check it out!

Great local pub, family friendly bistro with a solid selection of meals (including gluten free) But the friendly staff are what make it!

Good value for money, menu has lrg and SML portions great for the kids. Beer was cold. Staff were friendly. Highly recommend if you don't want to pay a fortune for dinner.

Area Hotel Griffith a 5 STAR Hotel.Friendly Service and Hot Meals.And nice rooms to book into .And nice Lady Lounge to have a great hot meals .Also they a music night some time. This a great night out for the Locals and for Visitors.
