Wonderful experience here, clean and delicious food. Even the cheaper rooms are really good! Good stay on a budget! All the food we’ve ordered have been absolute delicious with wonderful service. Don’t order UberEats! Order room service instead, you won’t regret it!! Woolworths is within walking distance if you need any supplies. Pokies in the lobby if you want to chuck some money in the pokes! Wonderful hotel. Will be coming back next time we’re here!

Wearing our team colours, watching our team play on the big screen in the new outdoor area, for some reason the channel was changed to a different game after one quarter. When we asked if it could be changed back, the staff told us they were unable to change it. Seemed really odd. We'd bought drinks and meals, which we were halfway through eating when this happened, so we finished our food and left to watch the rest of the game at home and not spend anymore more money at this venue!

Was a good room with great service, more probably needs to be done with soundproofing as could hear the lift going constantly and the room next to us was quite loud but other than that it was great.

Super convenient for me, which is why I chose it. I stayed on a Monday night and it was quiet. The ground floor rooms are situated very close to the bar and pokies room, so if it was busy it would be better to be located on a higher floor to escape the noise.

stayed at another location but ate and drank at this "Legend" location that I visited on numerous occasions in the 70s...80s...and 90s...for food and outstanding entertainment. It still lives up to its great reputation and would thoroughly recommend it to anyone staying in Adelaide. It will be my next hotel when I visit Adelaide again...

Recently stayed in the Arkaba Hotel and although the rooms are comfortable, the constant squealing of water pipes when people took showers either above or on the same floor was very disturbing during the night. To add to that, the AC units are very old and very noisy right above your head. They were preset on the temperature and we slept without them turned on in a hot room to avoid the noise. Didn’t make for a good nights sleep.

One of the better places I’ve stayed. I was upgraded to a spa room which is fantastic, super comfy bed, great ammenities, even some complimentary snacks and hot chocolate sachets. The $20 steak special for dinner was delicious, and there’s a great deal for breakfast when booking. Multiple beautiful restaurant spaces and I noticed there’s even a quiet dining area. Many thoughtful touches and friendly staff.

On arrival the check in was quick and I was told that I got an upgrade for using booking.com to make the reservation to a room with a spa. The room was on the first floor, it was big, with a big comfortable bed, lots of wooden furniture and a bit outdated but still functional, plenty of cabinets for clothes, tv on the wall with YouTube and Netflix, the little fridge with complimentary water and coffee, chips and Tim Tams, the water pressure in the shower was great and the spa was fantastic!! I used it twice! There’s a small shopping centre just a few meters in the same complex and the car park is big enough but not just in front of the hotel lobby. There are pokies, restaurant and on the weekends they have live music. I couldn’t hear noise from the main road just in front of my room or even from the bar but unfortunately the noise came from the ceiling and room on the top of mine. The hotel is not far from downtown but too long if you walk to it. It was a very good value for money.

Nice rooms and clean the breakfast was nice. It seemed like there must have been a special for over 80s as most people were elderly. I thought this was funny

Loved seeing our head trainer and comedian Nickyboy on stage top of the ark. Such an epic space to host events such as this comedy gala. There’s not a bad seat in the house. Also loving the new fit out in the bar and restaurant. Plus it’s a great place to stay for a staycation.

I went there for breakfast with friends before work. I ordered smashed avocado, it looked nice, however I could taste bacon on my bread when I cut into it ....bacon was not on my order. It seems as though they fried the bread in the same pan of someone else's order who had ordered bacon to save time. It was really off putting. I couldn't eat the bread because of the taste on the bread and it didn't match the breakfast I ordered. I'd rather the taste of butter or oil. Apart from that, the service was friendly and coffee was good. Maybe I'll give it another chance???

I stayed room104 for 4 nights last week of May 2024. Where is health department 🧐 Very dirty, very noisy, Around hotel , everyone smoking. Bathroom door is loose, can’t open, Plumping has problem, every day I woke 6am when room 103 had shower. Mattress is very old, carpet slippery & very old. Staff are polite but what can they do.😞they told me, we will write to maintenance book.👎 I am happy to send photos from every thing I said. How people gave 5 stars🤨

I just ate the best steak of my life here at the arkaba! Everything about the smokey steak was just perfect and I will be making this a regular night out from now on! I drive past every day but have never stopped before and I've wasted time! Honestly such lovely food, kids snitty was lovely for the kids and the atmosphere with the live music was wonderful. Such a talented musician playing acoustic songs on the guitar.

Hosted friends over the weekend who thought the hotel was really comfortable. We ate in the restaurant 3 times during their stay & the food was excellent. There is someone in the kitchen who knows how to cook steak & make a pepper sauce. The little semi Caesar side salad was delicious and the chips were pretty good too. We were all really happy with the food so well done Arkaba. 👏👏👏👏

Having lived in the Parkside area since the late70s I've seen every new update to this iconic Hotel and entertainment centre from my youth playing the pool tables and pinball machines in the last of men's only bar in Adelaide,to my wedding reception and a fantastic Christmas day luncheon and family and friends reunion day two years ago . The Arkaba hotel has been at times for me a base and second home for me so often I immediately and automatically feel at home every time I walk through any of its doors entering into theme rooms and bars . Always warm and welcoming and supurbly appointed the Arkaba has the best of friendly staff and security minded methods and practices to ensure your stay with them is as smooth and carefree as a holiday encounter should be and if like me you're there a lot it's soon as old hat comfortable as home itself. Having just recently spent another week there and now traveling again I find myself missing her familiar homey feel and enough so as to sit and briefly write this little thumbs up and thankyou to all involved in the daily running of the best hotel complex in Adelaide. But I guess I'm bit bias , do you think? 😁 If you've never visited ,do yourself a treat next occasion you get , you'll see that Im right . Local knowledge rules . 👋 John B.

Great venue for fringe show but rather slow service the day we were there. Had the second part of our meal when the show finished. Gave up waiting over 30 minutes for icecream and needed to secure seat.

Great staff. Stayed there during covid out break for 3 weeks had the whole place to myself virtually. Was walking around in my socks chilling out on the lounges in front of the fire. Now feels like home. Apart from the 100 dollars, they owe me. Anyone who hasn't stayed there, it is one of the best & hotels in Adelaide. CCTV has been upgraded on all floors, so your belongings are safe and secure. No weirdness. Easy check-in. The food is amazing. The front bar is perfect for summer. Has been one of the best for a very long time. Z

Good car parking and nicely renovated restaurant. As someone who us hearing impared, I appreciated the carpeted floor. In fact, I do not go to restaurants with hard surfaces as conversation is impossible. The menu was diverse and well priced. Service was very good.

From the outside it doesn't look like much from any other hotel. But inside it had a huge Reno and was well worth the visit. Plenty of seating in dining and sports bar areas. A clean, modern and contemporary style setting. Service and food was good too.

Food was ok but ruined by a very very rude staff member. It was disgusting the way she spoke to my husband and I while I was carrying my 18 month old son. Simply because we went through the wrong door. I told her how rude she treated us but she couldn’t have cared less.

Dinner at the sports bar, I can’t fault the TV screen line of vision. I was able to see multiple TVs during the footy from anywhere. Excellent! The non-automated part of this business failed to get close to that. The children who “work” in the bar know as much about bar tending as, well, children. The manager’s Staff Training Program must be taking the staff on a train. The kids (yes, they all chipped in it seemed - it wasn’t very busy) who fumbled around for 15 minutes to serve me 5 drinks didn’t know Shiraz is the name of a grape, but apparently, I’m the idiot. At least he got some of the pour into the glass. I expect these kids’ parents clear the plates from their room, as they have no concept of the phenomenon. The vegetarian options are excellent according to non vegetarians - “look! There’s garlic bread, olives, chips, salad, pizza, and a mushroom dish”. That’s 2 options, not 6. The cranski would have been edible had they cooked it long enough for the sausage to thaw. The kids surely know how to prep microwave food. And the food that failed to come probably wasn’t great either. Others at my table were disappointed with their food, but my beef schnitzel was great, as was the mash they happily gave me in place of chips. Unlike the Yankalilla Hotel, the tables are clean and not filthy and sticky. I’d recommend this bar if you’ve already eaten, like Coopers beer (who doesn’t? It’s the best), want to watch footy, and have an assistant to go to the bar for you.

Clean pub. Seems to be popular and the beer flows. Can't fault this place. Didn't stay in the rooms. I just had a feed and blew the froth off a couple.

Came here for a nice meal as we travelled through Adeliade and it was an incredible experience, from the staff to the food could not fault. The waitress we had was so lovely, super accommodating didn't make a fuss when we were a but picky with our food (making adjustments), when asked about recommendations she was super helpful. We had a steak and Parmi and it was perfection, highly recommend this place if you're after a well cooked meal with friendly service!

Arkaba is my go to place to stay when coming to the city. It is an excellent location and close to many services especially the supermarket across the road. It is very easy to book a taxi from there to the city which is only minutes away. There is always a variety of entertainment and the rooms are clean and comfortable.
