We had a table of 12 for a birthday dinner 22/5 and the service was disgusting. Everyone was served their meal at all different times and everyone on the table had totally finished their meals before the last 2 people got their meal.
When we go out for dinner as a group, we like to eat together as a group. We will not return to your tavern to spend our hard earned money of terrible service.

We had a dinner booking at 6.15. When we arrived at the restaurant the server said our table had Berlen given away. She would come look for us when it was ready. She didn't. At 6.50 we went back and were told there's no tables and we would have to eat in the sports bar. Not on. We complained and miraculously a table appeared with a 20 minute wait for us. 2 free drinks for 4 people. We ordered 2 starters. Which came half an hour later. 2 hours after our initial booking we left as we were still waiting for our meals. What a joke not going back any time soon. No offer of venue voucher. Under staffed. And staff that don't care

Visited arundel tavern for lunch with my partner as we seen they had $15 lunch specials.
Got steak and calamari toppers,
Food was nice but wouldnt pay more then 15 for it , overall was nice and friendly staff.

This was our first and our last time coming to Arundel Tavern. As locals, we were really excited to try this tavern out for my wife's birthday. The food was amazing couldn't even fault it. However, the service was horrible by the older lady, not sure if it was because we were gay but her customer service to us was disgusting slamming things on table, asked if there was a drink menu was told there wasn't only to see other people having drink menus on their table. Our table wasn’t set properly with side plates and forks missing. 10 minutes after sitting down we were given water. It wasn't busy only 5 tables ( with two of those already finished their meals). As a restaurant manager myself, I understand how intense hospitality is and I know how long the shifts can be, however, I've never been so disgusted with a service before. Please have a chat with the older lady as she needs to be taught proper service etiquette at the end of the day it isn't hard to smile.
I'm thankful that it didn't ruin my wife's birthday.
Sorry Arundel Tavern really wanted to love you guys as we are locals but we will be taking the trips down to Burleigh and even Broadbeach where the service is amazing. The food was worth the money spent but the service wasn't worth it.
I will say the service right at the end by the younger gentleman (I'm assuming would have been the manager ) was amazing

The worst service of any place I have experienced.
First issue. The person behind the bar barely understood english. Apart from barely getting my drink correct , rum was added to a childs coke!
Table of 16. 1 meal not delivered. Service told us it must have been "pilfered" and would get another. Half an hour later no new meal. Asked where it was and they said they were still looking for the original meal and hadn't made a new one! Got a refund.
Should be an option for zero stars.

The service was great but that's pretty much it. Food was average and took a long time to come out. Atmosphere was loud and uninviting. Just not my kind of place to go

The Master chef Kai ... the Magnificent Mia ... Nicest Nadi and Manager Scotty will always treat you well. Great kitchen. Great Service

The bistro lunch options are great! The food was cooked perfectly, the oysters were fresh and staff were friendly and accommodating.

Pleasant experience when visiting. Food delicious and service was friendly. $15 lunch specials are great value. Playground is great for the kids. Will visit again.

Our first time here for dinner. We had unbelievably good service from the bar to the table service. The staff were very professional and friendly. The food was exceptional. All in all it was a really good night. The occasion was my wife’s birthday and all the staff went out of there way to make it a fun night. Thank you all from all of us

One of the best pub meal experiences we have ever had, it has table service with very friendly and capable staff, the food was very very good, and surprisingly inexpensive.
I will now be looking forward to going back regularly and sampling the rest of their menu.
Although it was very busy the night we went, the service and meals were served promptly.
The atmosphere was overall great and the decor also good.
EXCEPTIONAL!
Went back again, this time for lunch, still EXCEPTIONAL!
We keep going back, this is now our 7th visit, still all great.

Not the first time we have been to this Tavern. Great atmosphere, always greeted at the door of restaurant with a welcoming smile. Our son always orders the 200g Rump steak which cuts like marshmellow, husband ordered Barramundi which was cooked perfectly & I ordered the Chicken Portuguese wraps. Great portions for $15 each plate. Fantastic value and service, we will be back!👍

Nice pub with indoor and outdoor dining. Service good, beer good but sparkling and white wines very average. Food is excellent. The main course is a good size, buttered veges amazing but chips could be crunchier. Overall a great place to catch up with friends for a few drinks and a meal.

Nice portion, steak and chips were cooked well, the meals came out fast, the chicken wrap was nice and spicy, overall we had a good time, we'll come back

I’ve dined here once and on the “Bistro” side as there is a restaurant inside, so there are actually two different dining spaces in the vicinity. The way the tavern is set up is kind of strange as there is a separate outside section which is for bistro food and the menu differs slightly from the inside section.
The kitchen doesn’t open until 5:30PM as with most Taverns and the new renovated Bistro section actually looks quite good. Great family friendly area with the playground, sport screens showing footy games etc
We ordered two kids meals (Spaghetti Bol, Nuggets and chips) and I ordered the Chilli Prawn Linguini. I thought the kids menu was the cheapest I’ve seen woohoo only ten bucks 🤩until the food came out and it was like $6.00 worth of food.
The chicken nuggets only came with a handful of chips (sad) which they tried to cover spreading and spacing the nuggets over it. To be honest I would rather pay a bit more than have a stingy serving of chips (as in under ten chips on the plate? Poor form come on just add more or increase the cost a bit to get a decent serving.
The Kids Spaghetti Bol didn’t look too bad and my daughter enjoyed it and at least this kids menu item was a decent serving size. The Prawn Linguine however was delicious so I would come back again for that! My husband decided to also add to our order the Calamari.
The Calamari is probably not the best I’ve had (too soft and wobbly not a nice crunch like I prefer) and the ratio of chips to calamari was a bit off. Like did I order chips with a side of calamari? 🤣anyway I do think it has potential but they are a little stingy with portions here which is why I rate it 3.
Service is ok, food is ok and ambience is pretty nice for an arvo hang/drink with friends. Wouldn’t go out of my way to dine here but it does the job for a pub feed.

It's been a while since I've visited my local tavern. It used to be fairly basic, but now it's very pleasant. I just wanted a decent pub steak, and I got it. Just their basic rump, yet it was a quality bit of meat cooked exactly as requested and served with a generous portion of Salad (I ditched the chips). This was from the Bistro, but I'm sure the quality is exactly the same at the restaurant as their menu is pretty much the same, and obviously, they just have one kitchen.
Service was friendly and pleasant, prices are decent, and the atmosphere is bright and welcoming. Will come more often 👌

I recently had the pleasure of dining at the Arundel Tavern, and it was an outstanding experience! The food was fantastic, and the service was top-notch.
I ordered the steak, and it was cooked to absolute perfection – tender, juicy, and bursting with flavour. The best part? It was only $15, which is an incredible value for such high-quality food. My partner had the chicken schnitzel, and it was equally amazing – crispy on the outside, succulent on the inside, and seasoned just right.
We also ordered a kids’ meal for our little one, and it was both delicious and great value for money. It’s not often you find a place that caters to kids with such care and attention.
Overall, the Arundel Tavern exceeded our expectations in every way. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a delightful dining experience!

I decided to have dinner here with a few friends. And I have to say that I really enjoyed the experience. The dining room was smart and clean. The food was very enjoyable, and this is from a chef's perspective. And the staff were very welcoming and friendly. I will definitely be returning for more visits

I am on holiday from South Australia and came to Arundel Tavern for lunch yesterday with my sister and a large group of people. I was impressed at the decor, loved the classy look of the tavern. The food was delicious. Had the $15 chicken schnitzel. A decent serving. The staff are friendly and were working constantly.

Haven't been here for a while. I'm happy that I went for lunch. We both had a delicious lunch with great atmosphere and friendly staff. 👍👍👍

Had been coming here each Wednesday for a month and decided to hold my birthday party here too. Our first two visits, we had our orders taken promptly and food arrived within 20 minutes. The next two visits, the wait was 40 to 50 minutes for two people and we ordered at 5.45p.m. and the restaurant was only around one third full. We saw around 15 meals be taken through to another Bar whilst we waited on our two meals in the main restaurant. On the night of the party, the aircon was turned off to our area, had to ask to have it turned back on. No staff came to take our orders, had to ask for them to come, and it is done from a staff tablet whilst you remain seated. Around 45 minutes wait for our meals. Two butter chicken meals were returned as not fit for consumption according to my two friends. No staff came to clean up the table afterwards, making it difficult to hand out plates for my birthday cake. There was no offer of baloons or anything to help with the celebrations as is carried out in other Taverns. We also rang two hours before going to my party, to get some reassurance meals would be delivered in a timely manner, but this had no effect.

Had a farewell dinner tonight. The food was ok...the service...100% due to the amazing Miss Maddy. This young lady was beyond amazing.

Great local pub/bistro/gaming.... The staff are so friendly, great selection of beverages including awesome pints of Byron Bay Lager. The food in the Bistro is excellent with ample servings and a great menu choice. Always served quickly, presented really well and piping hot except for the salads, they are supposed to be cold so the salads are served cold :) The music in the lounge is great and I believe this is thanks to Scott who obviously has impecible taste in music. The public/sports bar has a wide selectin of sports on multiple screens as well and is a must if you like a flutter on Keno or the horses/dogs.

First time eating here. Nice difference in that they do table service in the evening. Not the usual go to the counter and order, or .... QR code at the table.
Had the Thai beef salad, which is a nice light meal option. Also had dessert, the baked cheese cake, very nice.
It's not a huge dining area which is nice, more personable but still seats around 50 I expect.

Best cooked medium rare steak I've eaten on the GC. Just melts in your mouth. Lamb in the red wine just, to die for. Service was beautiful.

As soon as I walked in I was greeted by polite professional staff.
I was taken to a table where they did the usual hospitable measures.
The staff were very prompt with my drink
The food arrived in a timely manor. I ordered from the specials menu. It was cooked to perfection.
Great food, great flavour, friendly atmosphere.
If your looking for a nice meal at a reasonable price, stop in and give Arundel Tavern a go.
