We had our first meal in SA driving after a 5 hour drive from Victoria. We were welcomed by the nicest staff members at this RSL. A family friendly work vibe where you had staff professional yet relaxed. The meal sizing was very large and tasty. Definitely value for money. The open Salad bar was also well stocked and available to any eating at the bistro. Will definitely stop by again when we visit or drive to SA in the future.

We dropped in here for lunch. Their cheapest bottle of wine is $44. We are not paying that much. We walked out and had lunch at the pub across the road.

This place should honestly be on trip advisor. Great food, great prices, heaps of ANZAC Day stuff, and a superb donor supported museam which is much more impressive than other military museams. The RSL building is much more intricate and decorated than other RSL locations across the country. This place pulls above its weight and should be recognised for that. It is an exemplary RSL.

The RLS is an amazing restaurant. The atmosphere is wonderful and very family friendly. Their cause to help veterans is an amazing idea and I really love going there. The small museum is full on good history and books to read to learn about the wars. The food is amazing and too a high quality.

The Mexican Nourish salad bowl was inedible, stale corn chips with salsa out of a jar/can, boiled rice and old avocado with seafood sauce. Recommend sticking with pub food eg parmi

The customer service here is second to none. The pizza was amazing. I've never eaten a pizza with so much topping and flavour. 5 stars from me.

Staff friendly and helpful, Barramundi was great,chips freshly cooked in clean fresh oil ,thank you and keep the good work up and we will be back

RSL great food reasonable pricing has a really good museum lots of stories of all the wars really worth having a look

Recently ate there for lunch. My husband & I had lambs fry & bacon. Extremely disappointing. A mound mash potatoe covered in a sea of dark gravy with a few strip thin pieces of dry liver & a cm square of bacon. Tasted terrible. We won't be back.

Nice place. Reasonably priced meals. Loved my BBQ pork ribs and cheesy garlic bread but didn't like hubby's Turkey roast meal.

Mount Gambier RSL has a free museum. Highly recommend you go check it out.

Loved this place. Great service, so friendly and welcoming. West End on tap, which most pubs in Mt Gambier lack. Pub Tab was organised with plenty of space. I could easily sit in comfort in front of a Sky Racing screen and punt on my phone. Great spot, and you do not need to be a member.

I was happy with the chicken schnitzel I had. The roast of the day wasn’t anything special according to the hubby. The meals came out quickly and there was a salad bar. Not too busy on a weekday for lunch.

It was great there was a vegan option and it was delicious! Stir fry noodles with loads of vegetables and chef sauce. First plate was huge and second visit 2 days later was smaller so I guess that depends on the chef. Both were equally as delicious! Very happy! (Sorry, I ate it before I thought of photos)

I have eaten here a couple of times and attended coffee mornings. The Ary has extremely friendly and efficient staff who provide wonderful and affordable food in an excellent atmosphere. Highly recommend. Particularly like their battered fish and salad bar.

I can not fault the operation, service and atmosphere.
As an infrequent visitor to Mt Gambier and loving the food and hospitality here, I am always greeted with a smile and the staff remember my preferences.
Amazing to see the true commitment and care to patrons.

Great food, although house salad with the steak and chips could have had a bit more in it besides just lettuce, plus some dressing. Steak perfect but disappointed with salad. Lovely friendly staff.

Friendly staff, nice atmosphere.
Let down was the Pork ribs, stale, cold and over cooked.

Excellent! Cannot fault it. Huge chicken schnitter with heaps of gravy. Quite busy bet still came pretty quickly. Staff were polite, professional and quick. Beer was cold. Ode daily at six pm sharp. Old school Aussie, an easy five stars.

Dropped in here for a quick feed and beer. $20.00 schnitzel full size, pepper sauce, salad bar, Tab, lotto, friendly staff and customers. Happily come back here next time in town.

Along with enjoying a pleasant atmosphere and great range of good food, take the time to check out the RSL museum across the road. Great display of selected armoured vehicles and artillery.
