Worst steak I've probably had . So dry . Overcooked and overpriced for what I received. Prawn twisters were nice however

We stopped in for a late lunch, MJ and Hatice were very friendly explaining the cooking times and letting us know the specials, the food was served quick, tables were clean and the atmosphere was great. The friendly customer service from Alyssa and fatou also made our experience enjoyable. Thanks guys! We will see you again :)

We hadn’t been to the Ashley hotel in many years so thought we’d give it a go. We went for lunch and overall is was very disappointing. The food was very average and very expensive for what you got. A couple of us had the Thai beef salad which was a main but looked more like an entree. There was a side salad on one of the meals that was larger. The fish on the other meal was dry and looked terrible. The calamari looked delicious but looked better than it was, tough and rubbery.
The staff were very welcoming and friendly but unfortunately we won’t be back

Very lovely place to eat at, amazing service. Greeting with a smile. Just what you want when you’re away on holiday eating out! Would definitely recommend. A big shout out to M.J, Hatice and Alyssa for being amazing 🤍

Used to enjoy coming here for dinner, but that wasn’t the case during our latest visit. The Ceasar salad had few bits of bacon and about five croutons + one sad egg, with store bought tasting dressing - overall, just a bowl of lettuce for $21. With chili prawn fettuccine, we counted about four prawns in total, and the sauce tasted right out of a tin - for $29 dollars.

Today I had lunch at the Ashley.Hotel Melbourne..Was a very delicious meal and very fresh....Service, lovely friendly staff..Wine choice was good..
Haven't been there since 1996..
Was pleasantly surprised..Has a nice feel..

This was a great night out. Our meals were delicious and the staff were very friendly. Sam was very helpful when we asked about accommodation for an upcoming trip.

The food was amazing! My friends and I were served by Nina right off the bat and gave off positive vibes which really made our night. We’re excited to visit again!

The Ashley Hotel presents a mixed experience. The dining table was a downside, being both sticky and wobbly, impacting the overall comfort. Service, despite the apparent quietness, felt sluggish. Surprisingly, there was no option for plain tap water or bottled water, a notable inconvenience. On the brighter side, the food was delicious, although the portion sizes seemed slightly small for the price. Staff members lacked enthusiasm during the visit, but the reservation process was a contrast, with the person on the phone displaying eagerness to accommodate. The hotel has potential, but improvements in service and facilities are warranted.

Service there was great, the room was a bit small for 3 people but that's okay, the location is a bit out of central Melbourne but buses are cool anyway. We were only provided 2 towels but could've asked for another I'm sure.

Really average food, tired bistro furniture and decor. Service was also hit and miss albeit, there were only few staff on and they seemed to be rushed off their feet.

Not sure what has happened here.
Previously have visited and the place was lovely. Went for lunch on Saturday 13th Jan 2024 and the place was dead empty.
Couldn't work out why so we headed inside. While sitting waiting to order drinks I saw a giant cockroach scurry across the table.
Not the best sign but I know that it's also not unheard of, especially when there's been lots of rain.
Went outside to use the bathrooms. One has no door, there's holes in the wall where a hand dryer should be. No soap, nothing to dry hands with.
We decided to up and leave at this point. Really not sure if there's new owners or some kind of an issue but this isn't the place I visited last year

My stay at the Ashley hotel was very good. I was served by a young lady Miki who gave really good customer service!! I will definitely be back!

Meals were a good size. Only one of the staff working was extremely helpful, all the others seemed like they would rather be anywhere else.

I had heard that the seniors menu options were well priced but in fact at $16 they're not really. I ordered the roast lamb and vegetables with gravy. The meat was well cooked but two thin slices and one roast potato and one roast pumpkin piece with a few brocoli and cauliflower florets and some carrot slices is far from good value. I won't be back.

I came in to celebrate my birthday and it was a great experience. Received exceptional service from Nina, accommodated my family and I right away with a big smile and gave really good suggestions in what to order. 10/10 would definitely come back.

Had lunch in the bistro with workmates we all ordered the chicken parma. It was golden on the outside and most on the inside perfectly cooked parma. Compliments to the chef and to Sam and her staff

Great venue. Fantastic atmosphere with friendly staff especially Hatice and varoon who always goes above and beyond to make our experience a positive one.

Great service, great sports bar, great gaming room with a wide variety of games, outdoor seating. Mixed crowd and varied ages which makes for a great atmosphere for any age group. Doesn't get too rowdy but it's a fun venue to wind down after a big night.

Good food at reasonable prices, Cheap beer ($6.50 schooners) accommodation at a good price and very very good atmosphere! Not to loud! Not to quiet! Big screens to watch boxing, footy & races & TV's in the smoking area out front, Pokies too, can't go wrong!

A nice pub, walking distance from the caravan park we stayed at. Service was fantastic and good to see that new staff were employed and getting trained properly. All staff made sure that our time at the pub was nice. Food was nice and good serving sizes.
