Would I come back here? . . . Yes. The food was harty, there was plenty of space and also a self-serve water station of both sparkling and still. The breakfast wrap was very very hot, chilli was intense but it was good. The breakfast burger was yummy. The pancakes were more like little cakes but were also delicious. The yoghurt on top was so good!!!

Wonderful place to hang out and have some lovely food and drinks. Perfect pub kinda set up. Had a great time enjoying their chicken parmigiana with lemon lime bitter. The chips were very thin and crispy with pepper on it. Wow very tasty. The chicken was perfectly cooked and tasty. The lemon lime bitter was prepared at the bar from scratch. I would highly recommend this place for having a relaxed meal.

We enjoy going to Assembly, they have a great variety of beers, fun Cocktails and very good food! This is beyond pub food. It is a restaurant level. We took the pork ribs, cauliflower bites, and chicken wings. Wings. Everything was delicious.

Very, very nice pub in the middle of Canberra. Atmosphere is nice, service was friendly. Had a nice pils from capital on tap. Have to admit, a couple more craft taps would be appreciated, considering how close some of the craft breweries are. Very well done.

Stopped for lunch and had a delicious falafel burger and Brocolli bites. There were heaps of seats inside and out and was nice to enjoy the Canberra winter sun. Staff were very friendly too.

Saturday lunch was so beautiful in the sun! The BLT was nice and Smokey from the toasted bread with the perfect ratio of lettuce, tomato, bacon and aioli - to die for! The iced mocha was the perfect coffee/ chocolate ratio

Poor experience recently with getting takeaway bacon & egg rolls and coffees. Had to repeat the coffee order a few times, as it kept getting incorrectly written down. When the order was put through and I got everything, the coffee was lukewarm and not strong (despite asking for x-hot & x-shot). Then when the food came, only 2 rolls came out instead of 3. Turns out that order was put in wrong too, and I had to wait longer for the third roll. Food was tasty and coffee was fine. But the experience was disappointing, and for the cost, just not worth it.

OK, just arrived from a good bike ride with friends at 11:48am weekday. Like most places these days, there's an app with a table number. Let's roll the dice . . ooops, no food menu presents on the app until 12 o'clock high . . grabbed a beer from the friendly staff. Waited until 12 for food menu . . sorry app is taking some time and is there a $1 surcharge for using the app? (happy to be corrected). Ordered directly from bar (great staff . . polite and knowledgeable). I had the eggplant (sounded great on the menu) my friends had the calamari. Calamari was well received, the eggplant was something less. Cheesy with a doughy texture throughout, I was a little disappointed. . it was just a feed for a hungry cyclist . . . My friends rated the calamari. . The bar staff were helpful. With so many foodie options in Braddon, they have some work to do.

Nice pub with a lovely atmosphere and good for groups of around 6 people if wanting to sit inside. Food was good - the nachos and garlic bread are a must on the menu. However, their pasta is super watery and a let down. Other than that, great place for catching up with friends.

Huge place. Lots of capacity. Pretty busy even on a random Monday night. 90s dance music playing. Food was good. App based ordering for food. Was a little strange, couldn't order beers to the table just cocktails and hot drinks. Quite expensive. Service was a little random. Overall not bad, probably wouldn't rush back.

Great spot to spend a few hours with friends. It was very busy when we arrived around 7.30pm on a Wednesday but the crowd started to thin out by about 8.30pm. Assembly has an extensive beer selection on tap and a huge beverage menu that is well categorised. The food menu was good and reasonably priced, with everyone at our table enjoying their meals, including Chicken Katsu, Pork Belly Salad, Chicken Parma and sides. Tables were cleared really quickly of glasses which was great and staff were friendly polite. A great relaxed venue, which I'm sure we will head back to. Well worth a visit.

Great pub in Canberra. Certainly on the loud end but not a bad place for sport. Massively busy on Anzac Day and was a struggle to get a drink but the staff did the best they could.

Great place. Would so come back here. Ordered breakfast via the table order QR code and that was on point simple and everything came no issues I was really impressed. We got here at 7am and some families were in, cyclists stopped in still in lycra and people from the gym after sessions, single and couple diners, some having a hot drink and reading newspapers and the service still flowed. I'm sure the waitress got her 10k plus steps in. It was just so relaxing. The place has a massive layout, for indoor and outdoor undercover or open air. Inside there are booths tables and leaners with stools don't know their names but that's what I'll call them. The areas are partitioned but have booths in all areas and option of seating on high or low tables. I order a hot drink The Dirty Chai latte was phenomenal! I loved it but what made it great for me is it was sooo full of cinnamon flavour and didn't compromise the added milk it was a perfect blend and mix. I probably should have taken it away as I couldn't finish it but next time. I got the potato corn mozzarella and Chipotle fritters with poached eggs, Chipotle and red dukkah aioli served with a fennel salad. I think it is. The fritters were ok but I was taken back by the salad and Chipotle aioli and the poached eggs the fritters didn't really get a look in haha. They were round and thick fritters tasty but a bit dry for me, but it didn't matter as the rest of the dish was a winner. Egg was perfectly poached and honestly I don't eat salad for breakfast but this day I smashed that back as the flavour was so fresh and the dressing delicious that I couldn't stop. I loved stopping here and see it's a local favourite and know why. They have a water station for you to help yourself or the waitress will bring it, a cute coffee corner at the counter to order your drinks and the bar is long and just a lovely clean establishment. Staff were amazing so friendly and have that I'll help with any Q's you have service that I've experienced all around Canberra. It's something I truly miss when coming back to NSW. The toilets were clean and well stocked smelt nice and clean too. I really couldn't fault it and it was so nice to be back in Braddan. Recommend if this is breakfast we will be back next time to try the lunch menu.

Great food, great atmosphere, fun pub vibe for all ages and the variety of food was amazing. Only thing, staff were awful. Not friendly, bad service and looked like none of them wanted to be there.

Family friendly pub in the heart of Lonsdale st/Braddon restaurant district. food was amazing. I had the half jerk chicken and the meat fell from the bone and flavour was too my absolute liking. decent priced drinks. good selection. look I’m getting older. but for a family timed sitting was a bit loud for decent conversation. but party on kids.

Best steak in Canberra, seriously order the T Bone and prepare to be amazed. It's huge so share it with someone. Also had the beef tartare, zucchini flowers and chicken parmigiana. Chips are hot and crispy and they have a smoky fry sauce that is delicious. Nice ambience, plenty of seating and social distancing.

A good pub in the middle of Braddon in Canberra. A nice variety of drinks, some good beer on tap as well. Their menu is also perfect for different occasions, be it dinner, lunch, breakfast or just a snack to have with your drink. A lively interior and a nice place to be in general.

$50 Steak comes with no sauce. Cannot swap salad & chips, mash & vegetables to salad and mash. Why not? No substitute for chips with sweet potato chips. Extra $3 for veges, why? The steak was average, colleagues commented the food was "so-so". Go across to civic pub for the same meal that can be substituted with sweet potato chips, with sauce on the side and salad for no extra cost.
