You can get a huge plate of food; large steak w/ chips and salad with just around $15, and by large I mean really full on large. Despite it's price, the steaks and other plates here tastes anything but cheap, a delightful and delicious surprise. They do free soft drinks during afternoon hours, which is another bonus.

We went there at around midnight to have a drink and 3 of us order an pint each that cost us around $30 and one of my friend to wash face in washroom and as he was washing his face, the security thought he was too toxic which doesn’t even make sense, and we were kick out of this pub, we didn’t even have a sip of drink, and the security was claiming that our glass was empty, event thought we just been there, and we asked for refund or either take away of that beer, they refused to give us and when we were talking to the security owner came and the owner took to support pf security without even listening to our point, such a disgrace, they are judging that you are drunk without even having a sip of drink.
I am a regular customer of this pub, but i ain’t coming back again. If they think we were drunk why would they let us in and serve us a drink,
I am not coming back again to this pub again ever.

We saw a few cockroach there after we ordered a food. The staff even didn't say sorry or something about it.

They have appetizing and delicious food. There serving is humongous for a very reasonable price. If you want a good steak ang don't want to spend more than $15 for a meal, then go to this place!

The whole venue stinks of cigarette smoke from the moment you walk in on the ground floor. The "outdoor VIP area" is all enclosed and part of the main room so I'm not sure how this is legal considering its a smoking area. Even the dining room and bar area smells of smoke. There is no wine list, just 2 choices of white and red. Shame as food was delicious, huge portion sizes and very cheap. $13.80 for rump steak dinner +$1 for gravy. Diane sauce is excellent. Be careful with the daily specials they are at lunchtime only and this part is written in very hard to read font.

The steak is good taste. I ordered lamb chop. There was no smell of lamb. They gave me to soft drink voucher. it also good services. Thank you

The pub is excellent for people that want to smoke indoor and have a beer at the same time. The rump stake is a fantastic feed for the price.

Popped in here for a quick drink and Wedges around 3pm. There was very few people watching the Sports. It was a nice and quiet place and staff were friendly. It seems people come here for the giant meals. I had Wedges, they were not bad, I prefer alot of crunch. Not a bad place for a quick drop in or their lunch menu if you are into big portions. The Wedges are not a large portion.

Not the pub it used to be, beer is good - taps are obviously maintained they were in the "good old days". Pokiie paradise for those who are there to lose money

Not sure whether the food doesn't taste as good as better due to changes of owner or chef. Tonight we ordered two midium well cooked rump steak. After that, one of them was served well done cooked and it tastes so chewy, burn, n bitter. The other one was not cooked properly with a part raw. They also put the steak on the top of fries, which makes the fries absorb all the oil or water whatever n stick together... The salad at the side was not fresh as well... The food tonight was really disappointing n disgusting... The only stuff we could finished was merely water n beer...

Love this place! Not sure how they do it but the foods always fantastic! Great job guys. I've been coming for years now and have always had an enjoyable meal. I was actually so surprised when I realized the place got a facelift the days of having pokies around are over making way for a somewhat more family friendly environment. Now all it has to do is get rid of the rude people. But other then that what they advertise is what you get so expect great meals at low low prices!

I have been eating here since 1 year ago and oftenly come, i did like the food but this staff was very rude to all customers and i saw a lady wanna buy food and she was smilling to the staff and polite attitude but the staff replayed her so rude and no attitude at all. Never see rude staff like this in sydney before, im very disappointed with this service i hope to never see this kind of staff anymore. Thanks

Great and cheap cocktails, $14 each all time, and $7.6 for beers. If you are member of them, only $7 for a schooner.

Good food, big portions. You'll have a big plate with steak and sides under $20
(Try their lamb chomps, T-Bone, mushroom gravy, and boscaiola pasta)
Fast service.
Cozy environment and close to public transport, great place to meet with peers if you're in a budget.
Place has a lift to use.
If you go with a car, you can park at westfield and walk to the Avondale.

Food has always been good that comes with huge portion. Both food and drink sections have verities. Service could have been better. Place is bit noisy and messy. Over all good for locals.

Fairly small pub, bistro. Food was served quickly, tasty, reasonably priced and good sized portions.
If you like trains, there are a several seats where you can sit and see the train line at around track level - not much noise from the trains.

Decently priced food, but unfortunately the staff didn't know i understood Cantonese and i chose to ignore their rude verbal treatment. We were still in the middle of our meal and not every inhales food like a hippo. My partner and i got death glares and got called "Stupid" in Cantonese.
Would have given a 4/5, but -3 for the verbal insult within ear shot.
