Whatever became of the salad bar and complimentary bread, as well as polite and friendly staff. Our meal last night was the roast lamb and vegetables. The lamb tasted as though it had been sliced two days ago and left under a heat lamp. It was as dry as the proverbial camel's droppings. Really not good enough and you should be ashamed to serve such garbage. As for the person that took our order and my complaint; probably the less said the better.

Went for the Monday and Tuesday $12.50 meal and was very disappointed. Bar staff were nice and drinks were good; however, the food was twenty minutes late. I ordered a steak sandwich which came cold. Steak was hard and fatty and chips were also cold. Salads and breads and vegetables ran out and the staff didn't have backups. Two out of five and saved thanks to the drinks.

Went for dad's 80th. He has a lot of food allergies, and the staff were so helpful! They made great suggestions and even spoke to the chef to make sure he knew too.
The food was great, plenty of choice in the beverage dept, and a great view of the sunset to boot!

We love going here for a guinness and a beer and great fish n chips and crumbed lamb cutlets - our favourites

Solid meals. Nothing fancy just nice food at a good price. Family friendly. Definate for a cheaper than most meal out with the family

Service was good to fair, meal was disappointing for the money I paid. I was expecting crispy skin duck as was stated on the menu with vegies. The duck was not at all crispy skinned and the veg was from a frozen packet. for $38 I was expecting better, Sorry guys but you need to step up.

Scotch Fillet medium, received it rare blood oozed out when cutting.
Definitely not medium, at it anyway and enjoyed, but not the favourite that I ordered.
More than half was gristle, a little bit I can accept but not half.
Cook said I could have brought it back, I accepted the rare steak but can't accept half of it being gristle.

Recently renovated! Fresh look. We popped in for a lite lunch. My choice was Ham steak topped with pineapple and chips. Salad was available. Friendly service and the food was good. Altogether a nice experience.

It was a very pleasant place, the lamp chops were delicious, and you can pick your own vegetables or salad, and there is no limit on how much you can put on your plate.

Had the best meal tonight. I had crumbed prawns & salad , hubby had herb crumbed king George whiting. Both meals were superb.... fresh, plenty on the the plates and tasty as. Thank you to the chef, we love the bowls club & come often. ...the new menu will definitely inspire us to return more regularly

Had battered fish chips and salad. The fish was fresh and so very good. Staff couldn't be friendlier. Definitely going back here.

Great service great food good entertainment plenty of parking the 90 mile Blues Club operates out of the club every last Friday of the month 7:30 start I highly recommend dinner and Music after woods all at great prices cheers Winston.

Great “pub grub” food. They were able to cater to both my and my grandfather’s dietary needs. Service was friendly and the drinks were cheap. No need to be a member to dine there. Highly recommend!

Great meals here what happened to the rolls man so nice to pop in he would come over give us a roll was nice ..bar staff sure do know how to do nice drinks friendly and always clean will be back for sure

Friiendly service and good value meals, especially on Monday and Tuesday evenings when they have Bistro Special meals. I was pleasantly surprised by the quality. The menu may not change very frequently, but there is enough variety to keep it enjoyable for regular visits. Best to book however because it can be really popular on some nights. Parking is easy which is a welcome bonus.

Food was good, able to have smaller portions if you want, which is good for me, I don't like a big plate plied high with food. Staff were very friendly, all be it, being used to the regulars, a few strange looks when I walked in. Salad bar was ok, not great but still quite tasty. Didn't look at the vegies maybe I will next time. Overall, good food, good service and good prices .

Beautiful dining area, light and bright and staff very accommodating. Meals are smaller than average and comparable to same prices in venues also in Bairnsdale. Porterhouse steak was sliced like a fillet of fish and presented same so very disappointing. Roast meal was two slices of meat no bigger than 4cm in diameter. In fact, we thought we had made a mistake ordering s child's serve, also disappointing. Then on the flip side the fish of the day was adequate
