We spent NYE 2020 there and management kindly allowed us to bring in our own music because no entertainment was provided. Play room for kids and an enjoyable time was had by all

We go to Bairnsdale regularly for meals, coffee and cake, catch up with friends, darts, and Guinness on Tap.
When we came back from overseas in March 2024 we visited the club for dinner and found out the Guinness on tap no longer available. Extremely disappointed about this news.

This RSL is ace. The scotch fillet was cooked perfectly and tender (medium rare) and vegetables were cooked properly - not raw or over cooked. Best mushroom sauce I've had in a while. Definitely worth going there to eat.

The one star is for staff behind the bar and in gaming. Don't be so miserable and serious ,lighten up. A smile goes a long way. Food 3 star

Stopped in here for dinner while away for work. The staff were friendly, the meal came out quickly, and it tasted great. I'll be back again.

Ripping off mothers on mothers day.
$42 set price for barely $20 meals.
This fat had some steak in it!
$20 soft drink jugs!
I bet they would sell their own grandmother for a profit

Ordered Small Appetites menu - chicken Maryland and Chicken Parmigiana with vegetables - unbelievable- plenty of vegetables cooked to perfection and a great size. Don’t know what normal size portions are but there was heaps on our plate. Back again Monday for more of the same. Thank you Kath Campbell - TURA Beach NSW

Just read our last review and realised we’d ordered the same menu as last time. Comments the same re size and vegetables. The only criticism I have this time is they are now charging 50 cents for a bread roll. After having them free last time I thought it was a bit much for a small ‘bake at home’ roll.

Nice place for a meal garlic prawns were great. Staff were friendly and helpful. Roast of the day was great 👍.2nd time had seafood tops

Never again, drove 1 1/2 hrs for a booking of 15 people at 6:30pm, ordered just before 7pm with majority of the table getting fish&chips, 1 carbonara, 1 risotto, 1 steak and chips, and 4 kids getting spaghetti and a bowl of chips each.
45mins went past with only one plate of fish&chips served, not long after the kids got their meals and more fish&chips come out after 1hr of waiting.
I ordered a entree serve of carbonara that I received around 8:15pm “lucky I didn’t get chicken added or it would’ve been another 30mins or more”…
Our table complained after 1hr of waiting on meals and was given 2 free drinks as a apology and said it would be out “very soon”.
After the whole table had received their meals and finished them, we were still waiting on 1 risotto that just started being cooked around 8pm!!
We ended up getting it in a take away container and eating it on the way home as everyone else had already finished their meals and staff where beginning to pack up tables.
Food was very bland. And very disappointed in the service.

My wife and I stopped here for lunch. The club looks fairly modern and is well laid out. There is plenty of off street parking. There is a fairly large dining area which has a bistro and bar. It is separated from the gaming area which has its own bar. We were there fairly late for lunch so were unable to have our first choice of meal (rissoles). So, we decided to try the Irish pork sausages. Each meal cost $12 and they were really tasty. We were there on a Thursday and each patron in the club received free tickets in 7 meat tray raffles. We were lucky enough to win one and it was one of the best meat trays we've seen. We enjoyed our time at this club and would recommend it for a meal and a drink.

Lots of disabled access the back door was closed.
The prawns were lovely.

I don’t know what (if anything) was good about it. There was space in the car park. We got a table. I was laughed at for asking the difference between a pot and a schooner. The beer was flatish (no head, few bubbles) in the glasses. The sausages in bangers and mash were deep fried (ffs is this a crime against processed food?). The staff had the jaded air of workers that did not care for their work.

I am totally blind with a seeing eye dog and found the food at this venue to be nice.
Thank you for allowing my seeing eye dog and my friends assistance dog into your venue today on 31 November 2023.
The only concern that I have is that The signage on the toilet doors are not accessible for people who are blind or has low vision to the point where i’m unable to identify which toilet was which, because the signage was not raised tactile, it was flat, so I could not feel it, which meant I could’ve walked into the wrong toilets, which would have been an embarrassment for me and other customers also the signs on a toilet doors that I mentioned above are also too high up for people to reach or to feel if you’re a short person

I came back to this venue again on 4 July and still no disabled signage. The sign that they have is a flat one is unable to feel it. It needs to be raised and it’s too high up. Needs to be brought down a little bit.
This venue obviously does not think about Accessibility For people who are blind or vision impaired

Great place & wonderful staff , we were lucky enough to be there on 28th of October & had the pleasure of listening & dancing to a live band (The Uncles )i think , all in all food was great , service great & i thank staff again for finding my phone & returning it to me .

Great meal the other night. Flathead fillets were very tasty and juicy. Crisp batter, crisp chips and nice dressing on salad. Dessert was crisp batter on beautifully cooked banana fritter. Yummy caramel sauce, ice cream and cream - nice to have both. Quick and friendly service.

The atmosphere was great.

The food was excellent and there's ample off street parking, which is lit at night 👌

Come for a feed at the RSL, staff were good, seating was a bit outdated. The feed was massive crazy, seemed a bit of a waste couldn’t eat it all. The ham on the beef Parma was a bit how you going gross.

Canola oil in almost everything. A nice new Path that goes nowhere because of car parking place. Your only choice to get off it is a small off ramp blocked by a pole or High edges on path people can fall out and hurt them selfs. An accident waiting to happen. OH&S issue. Hopefully issues will be fixed before next visit.

Bar stuff got my order wrong then blamed me, made me pay again for correct order. Second drink old man rude said “yes” rather than hello and quite rude. Meal average. No one to show you your seat no idea what’s going on we found our own name On the table by walking around. Will never to again!!!!

4 of us had an excellent lunch, good value, promptly served by pleasant staff. Tastefully fitted out dining area. Can't suggest any changes. Will be back. Phil Goodman
