We’ve just had a delicious dinner at Hiro Meshi. Hubby was very impressed with the Chicken Karaage Noodle Soup (and had our daughters leftovers). My son (11) said the Tokyo Ramen was the best he’s ever had and my Vege Noodles (added Todu) was beautiful and fresh. The staff were busy but very friendly. Thank you and we will be back.

We thoroughly enjoyed our meals at the Banyo Bowls Club. Bistro 16 offers a good variety of meals catering for adults and children. The prices are very reasonable, the ambience relaxing and the staff are friendly. We are looking forward to playing 'barefoot bowls'.

We'll apparently you turn up for a booking in the bistro to be told sorry there's a private party, were not servng anyone else, even when you've made a booking with the manager. It's not our problem, tough luck! Can't recommend the service, there wasn't any!

This is old style hospitality. The decor looks temporary and the furniture is tired but don't be fooled there is nothing wrong with the food and the servings are generous. When you add cheap bar prices from the RSL club to the very reasonably priced food this is a good option for a very good cheap meal. I'll be back.

The new chef Steven has brought back an amazing vibe and excellent food.. highly recommend families to come down and enjoy a well priced meal (highly recommend Roast Night.. best roast I have had out of home)

The definition of a local. Such a sick community vibe here. Come hang out with the fellas - play a round of pool & finally sink down a schooie of All Inn Brewing’s finest pale.

Thanks for bringing Rockin Sugar Daddy's to Banyo Bowls Club we all had a wonderful night and the staff were all fantastic. Food was great and the dancers enjoyed the night.

Spacious interior however food portions were on the small side. Pad si ew noodles were still a bit undercooked and chewy. Fried rice didn't seem fresh.

My wife rang to order a few pizza’s for pick up.
She was amazed to hear that pizzas are dine in only.
My question is did if they forgot to order the Pizza Boxes??
There has been a lot of changes since the previous Thai restaurant left.
We have tried numerous times to purchase take away from here and they don’t seem to be prepared for this.
My advice would be if you are not ready to do all aspects of hospitality done do it.

Lovely venue, great location, but not my scene. I come from a generation where children should be controlled. I don't spend time in kindergartens and child care centres( and nor should I be allowed to!!) so I don't believe they should be in my space. Sorry, I know that is not popular, but at $8 a schooner, I believe that I should be able to relax.

It's 2pm on a Saturday afternoon, it's piping hot, you've been doing the mowing, raking. The kids want to go out and play, but you just want to relax. What do you do?
Then it hits you..the Bowlo!!
Less than 5 minutes is all it takes you to walk there, within 30 seconds the kids have spotted a friend from school or daycare, they're off. You make eye contact with their parents, who are sat across the green. you make the, **are you ok to keep an eye on them while I get a beer** look, the response is a thumbs up. They've been there before and are more than happy to oblige.
You're greeted by a friendly face at the bar, but you don't order right away, you take a moment to take in all of the craft offerings sat alongside your local favourites. What will it be today? Truth is, it doesn't matter because it's all cold, wet and oh so ready to knock the edge of this scorching Queensland summers day.
By the time you're ready to take your first sip, you're in a state of total and utter relaxation, because everyone else who's in there is exactly the same. It's an atmosphere you just don't find anywhere else. You're happy, the kids are happy, the bloke who you just met and started chatting to in the queue for a beer is happy. What more do you want? i'll tell you...nothing.

Had the Beef Burger, was a tasty monster with chips made by Steve - top bloke! Beer was nice and cool. Surprisingly not busy, although it was a Wednesday lunch.

Great spot for a drink, a bowl, super kid friendly, frequently quoted by locals as the best babysitter in town. Kitchen does a great job, plus some of the best Brizzy food trucks on offer on weekends with an exceptional Japanese Restaurant Wed-Friday 🍻 Can't go wrong!

Great local bowls club with food trucks, good beer, love music and bare foot bowls. Perfect spot for a low key Saturday.

Great little bowls club with cheap drink prices. It's a bit of a retro flashback inside and there is plenty of parking around the club. It's also about a 3 min walk from the Banyo train station. There isn't many of these quaint little clubs left, go check it out. The food in the restaurant is well priced and very tasty.

Can be a great family venue with space to run. Kids lawn bowls available. Food trucks and a kitchen as well as live music on key nights.

A wonderful lunch with a group of friends. The new restaurant has a comprehensive menu and very affordable prices. Each meal was delicious.

A nondescript local club. Lots of parking,, nice bowling green, nice casual bar. All staff are friendly. The Thai restaurant serves delicious food, the staff are very pleasant and look after their patrons. Children have access to toys to keep them occupied. I enjoyed being here.
