You have to go to this bar. Dominic and the staff are incredibly helpful and friendly. Specials from happy hour at lunch time and again in the evening Also have buy a drink and get a selected main course for 5 bucks. We got a 250g sirloin steak for 5 dollars!!!. Normal menus very reasonable as well and food tastes great.Pool table and all round cool atmosphere the best bar and restaurant in Fremantle full stop.

Went on a hot night and the air-conditioning wasn't working, had a meal and the food was nice- but up all night after eating the chicken parmi. Recommend going for a drink in cooler weather, but miss the food

We love Bar Orient and would highly recommend it for anyone wanting a special place for a function or just a bite to eat with a cold brew!
We were looking for a place to have an Anniversary party for dear friends, and found the Chesterfield Lounge, which is absolutely fabulous, with the old world charm carefully preserved when the place was renovated.
Our party went of without a hitch. The food was great, the staff very helpful and friendly. Everyone had a great time!
And coming up to the party, we came in several times for lunch, because the food is fantastic and well priced and the beer is cold! Here's a picture of the 1st pizza we enjoyed!

We come here regularly and the food is always good. Staff are friendly and the atmosphere is great. One of my favourite pubs around Fremantle. Every night they have a special on the menu.

This place was an unexpected find for us. The tandoori chicken panini and burger were both fantastic. Fries were perfectly crisp on the outside and beer was super fresh. There's a live band with talented musicians, giving us riff after riff on their guitars and drums. The crowd is welcome on the dance floor. Perfect for Friday night

This is the only bar in Fremantle that has pool tables to play on. We didn't eat there. On New Year's Eve, we looked for pool tables in many pubs, but this was the only place that had some. Have been back since and enjoyed it very much.

The Pims $15 Steiners was the best! Steak sandwich was delicious and we enjoyed playing a few rounds of pool too. One of Freo’s well kept secrets

Relaxed pub, friendly staff and reasonable prices. The stand out was the food however! The $5 lunch burgers are excellent!

Nice chicken parmigiana little bit overcooked but for 5.00 great value. Chips very good and a nice salad. All in all good value.

My son had his 21st Birthday on Saturday night. I was blown away by the friendly and helpful staff behind the bar especially Donovan. I can’t thank you enough for looking after us. Che from the moment I booked the venue you did nothing but go over and above to answer all my questions. The platters we ordered were so yummy and many parents made comments on how delicious, they just were. I look forward to re booking this space in the near future thank you Bar Orient and your staff 10 out of 10 for me!!!

Live band Tropicalia was playing. Of course they were amazing. But the pizzas were equally yum-mazing! Had the chicken bacon, margarita and beef pizzas. Really friendly staff and welcoming atmosphere. Highly recommended on a Friday night out with buds!

Revisited this awesome place. Had the BBQ meat pizza. It was so good. Highly recommended. The staff are very welcoming and warm. Love this place

The Kreativs were playing and amazing songs
Love the song choices and the food is amazing here. The pizzas and chips were awesome. Also the Elsie was on promotion at 9,50!

I think the blind chef mistook leather for steak and served that instead. I’m sure he’s a really nice guy and we all make mistakes, some of us are still learning and i not only sympathise but I also empathise with someone who cannot cook a taco. Sometimes I too struggle with menial tasks. Yesterday I tied my shoelaces together. I was doing so well too 2 months without doing it!! But I digress. The orient is a good venue if you are not hungry. If you are hungry, do not go to the Orient.

I popped into the orient hotel because i built both the bars in there. The front bar, 20 something years ago, when it was all timber. And the new bar at the back. Looks impressive now it is finished and installed. Personally I don't like what has been done to my front bar, but as i don't own it, i guess my memories of it will have to suffice. The Manager has been running the bar for 14 years and is a nice fellow, his staff are friendly and curtious so pop in and enjoy the atmosphere while in freo. Also check out my bar at the back while you are in there.

I’m struggling to give it more than a star, i’m typically not a cynic in fact it takes a lot for me to dislike a meal. Though I appreciate the $10 Parmi deal (which totalled to $20 anyway because you have to purchase a drink), a cold very tiny parmi with soggy crumbs felt like their standard was largely compromised. To top it off staff were unfriendly and unwelcoming and appeared like they absolutely didn’t want to be there. I can’t imagine paying full price ($26) for this, sorry. Tomato sauce for size comparison in the picture to show the parmi tonight

Great venue with even better staff. Spirit and his team made our night run smoothly and nothing was too much trouble. I highly recommend this venue if you have an event and we will be back soon.

Great pub food and decent beers on tap. Do some awesome deals on food on weekdays and the portion sizes will proper fill you up!
Chicken parm and schnitzel were delicious and the chips and salad were great sides too.

Great place for a nice dinner or lunch with friends. The atmosphere and set up is nice. Fantastic customer service from the staff. Shout out to Connor for being a great and friendly staff member. The food was delicious, though it took a bit of time to come out. Tried their tacos (fish, chicken and beef). The fish and chicken tacos were our favourite. Highly reccomend.

Great little pub with food specials all week and happy hour. Always a great place to see live music from solo acoustic to full-on rocking bands. Friendly staff.

Great atmosphere in the function room for parties, red carpet, private bar, lounges and dance floor. Fantastic service from the most amazing event coordinator Spirit and bar person Saab, very accommodating and caring.

Good food great prices. $5 Steak night and $5 Parma night are a must. See my photos on what the $5 gets you, happy to sink pints here for the rest of the night. Well selected live music. Will go back here every time I'm in Fremantle from now on.

Good deals on food throughout the week. Got a $5 burger on a Thursday and it was quite good. $10 pints. Decent little spot. Nice seating indoor or outdoor. Only have been during the day so it’s been quite quiet but not sure how the atmosphere is later on in the night.

Evolved backwards
Best place to eat a vegan meal with the rest of the crew but they did not just taking it of the 5$ deal which was already super unfair. They took any vegan meal option of the menu. Embarrassing

Dropped in to the Bar Orient for lunch. Had the Big Boy Cheeseburger! Very tender and tasty. Friendly service and relaxed atmosphere. Pints well priced. Recommended.

We loved pizza and chicken parmigiana. ❤️ We asked some modifications in it with cooking instructions and they happily made it 😊

An amazing Wednesday night for karaoke with host Gypsy & an appreciative, fun crowd. Our meals were top notch & we had the best time that got progressively better as the night went on.
Well worth the trip to this fun & welcoming Bar & Bistro.

$5 chicken schitty on weds with any drink purchased. Delish. Cooked well nice and moist. Staff were friendly
