We went to see Killer Queen as a family. Kids are allowed in the bar area. Music and food was great. Definitely worthwhile checking the even schedule of Bar36 when you are in town. No entrance fee.

The venue is a good size and regularly hosts artists from around the country, providing a good range of music to listen to on the weekends

Some of the patrons need to take a chill pill, but this is a great bar. It was really busy but the staff were on top of it and it was a good night out. Saw the Fleetwood Mac show, they were excellent 😀😀😀

Seriously get off the plane and go to this bar whenever we come to town. A local crowd who clearly love community set the vibe for a great night. Bands are brilliant. A local man dances all night and has become iconic to us!!! Wish we could transport this bar to Adelaide!!!

Security thinking they’re powerful beings. I got kicked out for “being intoxicated”, 5 beers and stayed on the dance floor the whole time enjoying “Running in the Shadows”. Another guy saw it and said it was definitely targeted by originally a female security guard. Absolutely humiliating

Music is good. Big noise. What happened to mr Smith? Long wait to get in arrived at 920 1hr 30min wait . So arrive by 8pm. Need a bigger area for bands. And people are crowding into a long line to wait. Less than 5cm between people. There's a small lounge area they could use to wait. So thirsty waiting 90 minutes. Why not serve a drink to people in line. People breathing all over you for an hour wait. risky with covid.once inside everyone's standing close. Didn't see any regular disinfection of bathroom, tables, bar. They don't monitor people wander out to casino and 30 min later walk past line and in. They walk out to a smoke for 30 minutes, same thing walk back in.

Live Music Thursday to Sunday, good atmosphere. Pretty safe if you want to go there at night, it’s in the casino.

I would give 4 to 5 stars except they don't police drinking on the dance floor. Beware if there's a good band and you want to have an enjoyable night there is a chance you wiĺl get s drink spilt on you or you may slip on a drink that's been spilled.

I came across this place whilst staying at the Pullman, and i stopped to have a few drinks and some food after a long touristy day.
The atmosphere is great - it caters to an older crowd (suits me fine!) and the food was superb! The twice cooked pork belly share plate was to die for, and they had a range of cider I've not seen in many other places. Really enjoyed my impromptu visit. The music set up looks fab,but i didnt stay long enough to enjoy the music.

I attended a daytime function at the Casino and in all honesty, Bar36 is not open during the day.
In saying that, the cafe inside the Casino had a very nice antipasto platter.

Great place to celebrate New year...Love the live bands there and while I understand the constant crowd service the bar attendants need to be mindful that the one person that they serve who does not drink might just give you one star less for your rudeness.. is it a crime to ask for a glass of water at the bar?

Great place for a dance, music rangers from modern to classic 80s and 90s. Depending on the night you go you can either just sit and chillax to great music or be up and dancing the night away. Bands normally start 9pm but can be earlier. Ages of people there go from young to golden oldies.

By far my favourite local. Great music. Staff are super friendly. Clean venue with normal priced drinks and super tasty food available. The atmosphere is warm and eclectic. Awesome venue for a laid back fun time with friends. 10/10 recommend

Best live music venue to catch local musicians.Reasonably priced drinks served by friendly staff.Pity it isn't bigger to allow for more seated patrons.
