We held our 50th wedding anniversary there on the 3rd of December. Could not wishes for better service from time of booking upto and including the event. Thankyou. The courtesy bus driver was brilliant also.

Website states dogs allowed, we drove there and the staff said that dogs were not allowed. Apparently previous owners allowed them and now they can’t take it off the website. Needless to say, no idea what the food, service or atmosphere were. 😡

Visited this tavern the other day.I found it to be one of the nicest it it is tucked away off the main rd and it is quiet modern and beachy feel to its outlook.the menu is quite reasonable and affordable for it's variety of food.They have a child's games room and tab for those that like a punt with poker machines.Its friendly and welcoming.And not to be missed when in bargara.I think you will be surprised!!!

Two meals arrived for a party of four over one hour after two meals were served, despite asking three times when the other two meals would be served. I was told you are next 38 mins before the two meals arrived.
We were very disappointed in this.
Yes it was busy, but people who arrived after two meals were eaten on our table, were served before the other two in our party.

Tried this gem today after living here for over three years. The staff were very friendly, the service very quick and the food was great. Will be back.

This is a great pub on the southern end of Bargara. For those who like have a bit of a punt, they have TAB (with a Sports Bar), KENO, and of course Pokies. I haven't dined there, but have told from friends that the food is good, and very reasonably priced. I can tell you that there is plenty of seating in their Bistro. With either air-conditioned inside, or undercover outside, and there are some tables on the lawn area. I do believe that they take bookings, (but check out their website just to be sure).

Thai beef salad served with a Greek dressing. Hawaiin pizza soggy with little or no toppings. If this is your go then bon appetite.

Saturday evening dinner with two other couples. Recipe for disaster maybe? Different billing, different orders...Would they get it right? Would the food arrive at the same table, at the same time?
Perfect. Flawless service and (really) nice tucker.

Nice atmosphere out on the deck, clean and tidy place. Food not up to the $cost asked. Service good but not table service

It was our final night here on holiday and we decided to book in for dinner
It was Members draw so it was quite busy so we sat outside
The meals were nice and tasty but they did miss one meal completely but it was rectified quickly
The young man waiting out table was very friendly and professional
The Expresso Martini was the best 🥳

It was our anniversary so we had a fantastic time. Can not fault any staff as from the manager down everyone made us welcomed.

It used to be great when the new owners took over, but for about the last 6 months the food has really not been good.

I experienced a very positive night at the Tavern. My meal, Thai Beef Salad, was tasty, well presented and appropriately priced. I enjoyed eating in the undercovered outside eating area rather than the busy inside. The inside area was conducting a trivia when I walked through to leave.

Good food, good staff, great facilities.
Just weird to stick a smoking area by the front entrance?
Make sure to book a table during busier periods
They have a kids area, so you can socialise in peace 😂

Food was truely awful. Our concerns were brought to the attention of staff, whom asked if we were local, we replied no we are on holidays. No follow up. Highly processed, Undercooked, small portions. I paid $42 for my meal! Would of been better off going to Macca's😞

Food was quite meh. Lots of grissel on the steak and quite chewey. However service was fantastic especially by the assistant venue manager who gave us all a great laugh. Also everything was expensive af

Family group9 of us .all food eaten.i did entrees calamari and ate all.the meals were big partner had crumbed steak said it was great. I saw hamburger 🍔 .It was big.staff behind bar very helpful and full of local knowledge. Courtesy bus took us two home.nothing to much trouble.delightful night .nice cold beer.thanks to tavern staff .keep up the great work.it was also trivia night not that we participated .
