We stopped in for the night on our drive from Townsville back to Darwin. Food was good, ice cold tap drinks. Rooms are very neat, modern, and efficient. The Irish guy behind the bar served us, he said he was new. He went above and beyond to make sure our order was all sorted. Cheers 🍻

We stopped here for lunch. Our entry QR code was checked as we came in. We ordered lunch from the adequate menu. My hamburger was huge. My wife had a steak burger which she enjoyed. She found the paper on the plate annoying.||The pub is nicely air conditioned. It has adequate space for social distancing.||The staff were lovely.

The rooms are ok and beds are very comfy. Modern touch can’t complain BUT rooms are very small (some of them) and appliances are not available as advertised. Couldn’t use room service to order food cause had no QR code like the other rooms. Managed to order from my mates room. The steaks are chewing and over cooked and were delivered without cutlery. Had to get some myself and for takeaway they gave me plastic / wood ones. Impossible to cut a steak with them and if steak is chewy and over cooked forget it! Now worst thing that happened though was me coming home at around 2am from 10h nightshift and my keycard was deactivated!!! Couldn’t get into my room being super tired and just wanted to sleep. Couldn’t find anything at that time of the night anywhere else obviously! No 24h number and reception obviously closed! Worst night ever, had to sleep outside on the floor no joke!! Next day I went to reception and they said “sorry we changed your room”. Yeah great thanks for letting me know and just deactivating my room key! Never ever again!

The carpet seats are filthy, I changed the chair to a vinyl one, paid 30 dollars for a rump and got a fatty peice of grisle meat, definitely not a rump and packet mash potato, and no catering for gluten free, was able to get a grilled barra and small salad and got charged the same price even with half the food missing. Very disappointing

Perfect space everything you need recently renovated smart tv clean kettle all the mod cons lots of pillows love being on the ground floor parking outside my room bottleo on premises room service, friendly customer service and great price only negative noisy road but you have noise everywhere in this town and best price in town I’ll be back x

Nice place to stay when in Mount Isa. Had all the facilities you would want and some good food to tuck into.
For a bit of light entertainment, I did happen to wander into the pokies room and did pass away a bit of time...

Lunch today was very disappointing. Had the lunch time rump and couldn't eat it. It was full of gristle and Soo tough it was not edible. I have been before and this is the first bad meal we have had there. Staff were lovely and service was awesome but they really need to change their butcher

Love the staff especially rea, she feeds my dog everytime we visit. Beers are always cold and my favourite beer is currently on special for $6

I booked in before 2pm to avoid driving west into the punishing sun during the hot and humid "wet" season. The pub appears a little seedy but the accommodaton was modern and spotless. I had a double room which was perfect for me but I think a little small for two people. The receptionist was lovely, very helpful and gave me useful info about the services offered by the hotel. I had a meal, which was reasonably priced and nicely presented. New experience, ordering through an app, from my table. Very efficient I will stay here again.ic ient!

It was ok. Had family dinner, menu was basic my kids had cheese burger meal & nuggets w/chips, I had the works burger that was nice chips were little too salty for my liking. Partner had fishermans basket now that was not worth the price we paid. None the less food was average, service was good waiting time wasn't to bad of a wait, kids kept occupied with the claw machine. Staff were very polite an attentive 😊

I only went there for dinner with friends and the meal was excellent and had a great vibe to the place. Great tab set up and great Northern on tap what more could you ask for.

Hey the beer was cold and the food at the restaurant wasn't bad either. Stayed overnight in the one if the rooms. It's a budget hotel/motel and the price was good too. Would have given a better score if the room was a little cleaner. Not unhappy I stayed though.

Food was horrible when I came bit disappointed, the old menu was better , the crumb steak didn’t taste alright & made us sick , the mushroom sauce was like a thick glue the chicken schnitzel tasted different also. Only amazing thing was the garlic bread entree

Deliberate false advertising. Special 2x Cask of Wine $33. Clearly shown on ticket on the shelf. Wife and I bought 2 and had to pay separately per cask as 1 cask per person per transaction. We were okay with that. Problem is they charged the full price of $22 per cask. When told of the oversight the woman who admitted pricing the product was rude, arrogant and refused to refund $11 back to us. After much debate the light went on and with the intervention of commonsense they refunded back the $11 and split the $33 into two payments of 16.50. So the question is how many people have had to pay full price instead of Special price. Staff training in product sales and people's skills need to be addressed. By the way always check the BWS online site under Specials.

Clean rooms, bed nice and soft.
Bathroom clean and tidy, with a big shower head. Bistro good food and service was lovely.

Beautiful rooms, super comfy beds, very clean bathrooms. Meals are very reasonably priced and taste excellent. Beer icy cold and staff are lovely. It may look a little shabby on the outside but the motel rooms are definitely beautiful inside.

Amazing staff, friendly environment and competitive prices. Have never been kicked out for taking too long to use the bathroom like other venues.

Absolutely loved our stay here. The rooms are modern and very clean and a really comfy bed. The pub was large with really nice meals and friendly service. You can see the mine across the road which looked great all alight at night time. It's great to watch all the trucks come and go from the mine and you can see them from the pub. Highly recommend this venue for accommodation and meals etc. Would definitely stay here again.
