Ya spent many years up there lot of history , but l was at the cemetery across the road , it went private a couple of years ago what a credit to them it's so nice for a remembering walk !

Went to play 9 holes, the service was rude. Treated so poorly considering we were just there for a quiet game.
Edit: Now I have the Manager ‘Matthew’ privately messaging me on Facebook regarding my 1 star review, mentioning that it is damaging and harsh. Also mentioning how “normally country folk talk rather than try and destroy on social media”. Reaching out on my personal account seemed rather unprofessional.

Very slow service and ordinary food at the bistro but the bar staff were pretty good.

Tough day on the course but worthy of a day out. Greens were the winner. Difficult to read but rewarding if willing. Good facilities for the discerning mind. Actually won the NSW Country Club of the year. Don't ask why!

This was our 1st visit to the BGC and unfortunately it wasn’t a pleasant experience.
The staff are friendly and that was about.
The venue looked grubby and unkempt and in need of a good clean.
Although the menu reads pretty well the Food was leas than average and cold, wine list and choice by the glass extremely under PAR. Pardon the pun.
This could also be because the regular clientele are not really wine consumers.
We will give it another crack, as we may have just got them on a bad night and i am a firm believer of always try things more than once.

The experience started of a bit rough but they redeemed themselves very well! The chef did say he'd be unable to serve us for 15 mins which we weren't to fussed about. The food took a while but the wait was well worth it! The food was beautiful and it was a great feed after a beautiful hit of golf! The chef apologised to us for earlier on and was very polite! Definitely recommend these guys if you're a local or a golfer on tour.

The course has spirit and the greens are currently very awesome. If you haven't played golf before, maybe you should! 5 tangerine stars from me I love it.

The course had 2 inches of rain overnight and at 11 am when we hit off it was well playable. We enjoyed playing the course even though the fairways are tight and a joy to play from if you can hit them. The clubhouse had a friendly, functional feel to it and we enjoyed our lunch. The chicken caesar would be improved with a freshly poached egg and a little less lettuce, but it was a pleasant meal.

Pro shop were a lot of help. Played on a Monday and not many people around, so i finished in good time.

One of the best courses in regional Australia great pro shop and staff. Friendly locals yummy cold ales. Great bar staff exceptional bistro

I went into the pro shop to get a fitting for new clubs with my husband. The staff member was reluctant to serve us and kept implying we couldn’t afford the clubs. The staff member didn’t want to serve us and was very unmotivated and very rude. After the third time he walked away we left. We have now purchased new golf clubs along with a fitting from Drummond Golf and spent over $10,000 with them, which by any means is not a small amount.
I do not recommend the Bathurst pro shop, just read their comment below to see why. They think they can bully and use crutches such as COVID-19 and I am a small business owner as an excuse for their poor culture and poor customer service.

HONESTLY... Bathurst Golf Club is BRILLIANT!
The hospitality I receive on ALL occassions, invites me back, eager for my next visit!
In the Pro Shop you've got Matt Barrett, Nathan, Dylan, Tim and James keeping things moving along, plus the young ones keeping the carts smick and shining. Now, I am getting back into golf after a 25 year absence, and it's a different game! Yet, me... Probably or more than a pain at times... Have been WELCOMED back to the game by Matt and his amazing staff!
Then, you go upstairs to the club and you are welcomed like you matter!
Brad, Brendan, Rod and (I keep forgetting the Bistro ladies name)... Are the VERY BEST staff a club could ever want to have!
You know what... I have a false set of Chompers... (This is a 100% HONEST review) And, I was finding it hard to chew their steaks... I told the bar staff, and they listened and responded!!!!
Then, they found a FANTASTIC chef, who picked an AWESOME team and WOW!
I am a CHEF by trade... And, like I said WOW!
The food has SKYROCKETED to FANTASTIC!
So, what that on the same day, I had over forty putts... Step inside the door, and it's SO much more!
You have got to visit this club!!!!
THANK YOU SO MUCH BATHURST GOLF CLUB... (I Wish GOOGLE had a FIVE STAR ⭐ PLUS rating!!!!)

Highly recommend the pork belly. The best I have had in a long. Great staff and venue. Will certainly be coming back on our next stay

Had gone on Thur2for 1 meal,meals were great ,waitress was very helpful and polite lovely girl ,inside could do with an update very uninviting inside.

At Bathurst to celebrate a milestone family birthday. Booked a table for 22 people, they were very accommodating to our needs, vego, GF. Food was good size and very nice. Thanks.
