What an amazing hotel. Four of us visiting from NSW riding around Tassie booked a night at the Beach Hotel. They accommodated our bikes securely, couldn't do enough fir us. Booked a table at the dining for us without being asked. The whole place is incredibly clean, staff are super friendly. Special mention to Jordan, Jayde, Mick.

We stayed three nights at this great hotel. We were given a fabulous corner room with great views of the waterfront. The bed was super comfortable. The room was spotless and amenities were amazing. The included continental breakfast was awesome…a choice of juices, fresh milk, cereals, breads and spreads, muffin or yoghurt.

We paid a fortune for 2 Cape Grimm steaks. Terrible. Full of gristle and fat. The flies buzzing around was extremely annoying as well.

Went to go for tea and was spoken to like absolute trash by a blonde haired lady with glasses at the bar, she was very aggressive and disrespectful, showing clear signs of annoyance by our presence and was even seen walking off shaking her head by us not knowing what we wanted to order when we had only just walked in and opened the menu! We just walked straight back out and will not be back or recommend this place again until staff manners are looked at and addressed appropriately! We felt so unwanted and uncomfortable, it was the worst experience we have ever had at this restaurant! We appreciate the lovely young man who rushed to help us and tried clearing a table for us, thank you for being so kind and comforting even though we didn’t end up staying! Absolutely devastated by this whole experience and hope this doesn’t happen to anyone else! Despite the disgusting behaviour by said staff member, the food is usually really good and the people are usually quite welcoming and comforting, sucks that 1 person is letting Beach Hotels reputation down :((

Went for tea with family. My mums scallops were many and nice. Son in law had stake which he said was very nice, my fish and chips was oily and I mean oily. The other meals were nice. Biggest downer was it was cold when we got there and colder by the time we left. It was like they were trying to get rid of the people in the bar by turning the air con to snow.

Was excited to see cape grim beef after cooking our own eye fillet last night.
We ordered an aged rib eye for $80 and an eye fillet.
We ordered both as recommended medium rare and both came out medium- well done.
The rib eye was almost inedible!!! It was tough and chewy and full of fat. There were a couple of pockets of medium that was ok, but overall an extremely bad piece of meat. And for the price we paid even more so!
Couldn’t have been more disappointed. No one came to clear our table and the bar was too busy to even tell anyone before leaving.
Won’t be returning.

Took UK visitors to dinner last Thursday as ee have always enjoyed the varied menu. My oysters arrived and when I had finished them the other three entries arrived. Before our guests were even halfway through their entries, their main courses arrived. When I complained to the waitress her response was to ask for how long they had been eating their entries!! She did apologise, but said the timings were down to the kitchen!!!
Very disappointed and embarrassed as we had told our guests what a good venue is the Beach Hotel! Will choose alternative venues in future

This Place is suited for people like pubs ,the hotel has no Lift you have to go staircase 2 nd flr to carry your suitcase. If your a bit aged its not good..No Parking on the spot need to wait till all customers from the pub. Finish .park outside after 6 pm is. Free.small room.

This is the best hotel I've ever had it's so clean! No marks on the shower glass take a min to appreciate that it's so clean and tidy and amazing highly recommend if your in bernie to stay here

The staff were pleasant but the outdoor seating basically on the roadside was not ideal for use by dog owners.
The food was good (pork belly for her, burger for me) although the double pattie in 3 layers of bun was almost impossible to eat. It would be better one large pattie in one large bun with all the bits
The Guinness on tap was average. Not even served in a Guinness glass!!

Nice location. Good service. Great food and they cooked a great breakfast with thick bacon. Room small with no view but I just wanted it to sleep and work on the computer.

Loved this place. We arrived late in the evening but it was no problem!! Clean and modern rooms fully stocked mini bar and a great choice of hot/cold drinks. Super friendly staff. We had the balcony room which looked out onto the beach 🌊 🥰
A lovely view. Has a bar and restaurant and room service. We got room service for breakfast as well as complimentary Continental breakfast😁
Had a lovely fire look heater. Large room. Will come back again

Had dinner at the Beach Hotel as a late walk in as part of a larger group. The staff were welcoming, helpful and friendly. The food was amazing and waiting time was reasonable. I recommend the bistro to any travellers.

For the price of the food, I would have expected more.
Onion rings were cold and soggy gravy was cold and oily. Chip were still hard in the middle
For $66 I would have had a better feed from kfc

Food is amazing and the rooms are quality for the price was really suprised by how new and clean they're.
And the location is the best in Burnie.

Fantastic food in the Bistro!! Hotel has been refurbished and very nice. Great LARGE room, very clean, tidy and comfortable beds. Friendly helpful staff. Will absolutely stay there again.

Fab rooms amazing food but still noise travels upstairs .. website says 9ock finish on weekdays . More like 10 .. weekends midnight . This let the stay down otherwise 5 stars all the way

Cannot fault. Huge selection of premium and local beers on tap. Staff were friendly and efficient. Service was outstanding. We both had a steak, eye and t-bone cooked to perfection, with generous sides. Venue was clean and the location is superb. Breakfast is also worth a look, great value and huge servings. Highly recommended!

Best Parma I have had in years!! Like the good old days the Parma was great! Massive but very tasty! Highly recommend!

Amazing free continental breakfast. Awesome other breakfast choices. Wonderful rooms. Sensational views of the ocean. Close to the penguin boardwalk. If in Burnie, do not stay anywhere else.

Accomadation was on top of the old pub, up stairs. A bit noisy.
Recently renovated room was really good, bit of an over kill, as was 2 rooms in one, and therefore expensive just for accomadation for 2 people
Pub Meals were expensive $125 for 2 people with one drink
