What a gem. We had a great dinner and drinks at this lovely pub. What made it exceptional were the wonderful engaging staff. Nothing was too much trouble to attend to the customers needs. The staff were a cut above and could work anywhere in a big city too.
Highly recommended the food, my lobster linguine was exceptional, the best I've tasted. Would love to visit again some time

We stayed in Beachport for 8 nights for our wedding anniversary and father inlaws 80th, we regularly visited the Beachport Hotel for dinner or just to have a tinker on the pokies.
The hotels food was amazing. Great prices and huge meals, couldnt fault them once.
All the staff were happy and friendly.
Honestly would have to be one of our fav pubs in our travels

Unfortunately the service was not good waited nearly an hour before garlic bread turned up then another 45 minutes before meal arrived and meal was not good nice setting but food and service were poor

Traveling through and here for 7 days/nights. Ate and drank here with friends on 3-4 occasions and the patrons and staff were welcoming and friendly, the food was great!
On our last night we thought ‘why not head back’…… but it was not our previous experience….
Over 90mins we waited for our meal, with the bar staff nothing short of apologetic and true professionals…….. the food, however, when it arrived was relatively ordinary…. Such a let down by the kitchen team…. Disappointing to see families with young kids waiting such a long time also……..
I’d say try elsewhere, but what are the options….

Service was 10/10.
The blonde bar tender Opal was absolutely gorgeous. She was so friendly to every single person who went up and ordered and to other staff members. If I can recommend someone gets a raise or a bonus this month please give this girl all you got immediately!
My partner and I stayed in Beachport for one night on our honeymoon and had dinner here. I had the crayfish linguine and my partner had the ribs. Both meals were delicious, however if you order the ribs please be warned...they are huge meal! Delicious, but mammoth 🦣
Would recommend this place again 🤌

Our dinner was cooked to perfection. My partner had the Texan porterhouse & I had the lobster linguine, 5 star rating one of the best meals we have ever had! The bar lady named Opal , what a gem. Her customer service skills were outstanding and made the whole experience awesome. Well done Beachport Hotel.

One of my favorite places in the whole world. Sensational Beef Schnitzel. If you're lucky you'll meet Opal, one of the nicest people you'll ever meet.

Lunch stop, very friendly staff and the best pub meal I've had in a long time. Pet friendly as well - outside area for you and your fur baby.

Love the lunch meals. Not too crowded and great staff. Chef knows how to cook a rare steak. Very pleasant inside and outside in lovely historic building

Lovely local pub with tasty food and cold beer. I went in there for a Parma and a pint and was not disappointed. Tidy traditional bar/bistro with friendly and accommodating staff.

Lovely hotel, friendly and welcoming staff. Loved the gummy shark and chips and the crayfish linguine! Yum. Recommended.

I was at the Beachport Hotel last Wednesday night for dinner with friends, I ordered a steak cooked medium rare, unfortunately the cook had no clue as to what that meant, it was almost well done and dry, when the plates were cleared I mentioned to the staff that the steak was over cooked but they weren’t very concerned about it.
Good luck to you Beachport Hotel I would have had a better meal at Macas.

I posted a review however, it was the wrong business. . Lunch at the Beachport Hotel was excellent and the staff were most helpful as I had a small dog with me and we were seated in the outdoor, verandah area for our drinks and meals. Food was outstanding.

Had lunch here today. Absolutely great. Ribs and Salt and Pepper Squid tender, chips the best, salad fresh. Good service too. Thanks

Good service. Typical Aussie country pub. Front bar was full. We had drinks out in the smoking area out the front. Drinks are good value. Not charged for water on a hot day. Clean loos.

Friendly service and very accomodating even in the busy period we visited (Australia day evening). The food was good, probably would have just had the ordinary parmi instead of the butter chicken style (chicken on chicken) but it was something different. Only a limited selection of craft beer, a bit disappointing but maybe that’s what the locals prefer. I personally think we are so lucky in SA to have great craft beers, just having the usual Kirin/CUB selection is a bit of a let down. If in town, we would return again

Food was delicious and the service was brilliant. There was a wedding on so I was expecting the service to be slower but food was out within 25mins of ordering. Everything was delicious. Spaghetti marinara was a definite standout. Super impressed, will definitely go back again.

Absolute disgrace being treated so poorly, travelled over halfway across Australia heading home to get a nice cold beer that as far as I know isn't sold anywhere else to then be kicked out for outside of work reasons I think that's not ok. Definitely not a place to be treating a paying customer with such disrespect
