What you'd expect for a local country pub and more. Great family feel, all staff polite and have a good yarn. More importantly the beer was cold and the food was great. We were there for a Sunday 40th and not a complaint about the meals. Scotch Fillet $32 and nothing else over $22. Fed the family for $54. I had one of the best pub rumps I have had and don't go past their pepper gravy. I think it was Grandma's recipe. We will be back. Cheers guys. 🍻

We dined at 12:00 on a Sunday.
There we a few people there, in the bars and outside, and a raffle was going on!
We were seated immediately and selected a table on the verandah. It was comfortable and had a pleasant view.
The staff were friendly and very helpful.
The decor was quintessential country pub and the Brisbane Valley Rail Trail themed and references were appropriate without being over done.
The menu was broad and tempting, with many pub staples on offer.
I had a steak sandwich that was tasty and difficult to finish due to its generous size. My beautiful wife had barramundi fillets and they were also excellent. She also did not finish her meal. They were priced well and arrived with impressive speed.
There were many great beer options on tap and the wines on offer were also good.
We really enjoyed this visit and will return.

Visited this hotel today for lunch, with a small group of seniors.. All I can say is 'Excellent'. The venue has a great country charm. The menu has a great selection. The prices excellent.. The service 'Outstanding', very friendly staff who serve your order with a smile. The wait time for our meals was great and the meals were served hot and very yummy..So If you are looking to go for a meal in the country setting, all I can say is, it's worth the drive. Lots of historical sites in this area. A big thumbs 👍 up. We will be back in a couple of weeks and bring out another group..

Very good meal for a country pub. Usual locals sitting out the front.
Pub closed at 6pm
Tuesday night it was open later for the poker club.

Thankyou for the opportunity to eat, sleep and play the Australian way! Publicans Kristy and Corey cheers for the opportunity to eat local produce cooked homestyle, Sam (barmaid) service was on fire, as was all staff and gotta love a Meat Tray Raffle on a Sunday! Packed to to the Rafters with locals, horses, great food and laughter abundant... thankyou again for the chance to holiday true Aussie style.

Stopped in on the way through to Esk on the BVRT. Had a beer and the fish and chips. Yummy and the service was fantastic.

Rode the BVRT & stopped for lunch. The chef knows how to cook the perfect steak, has a passion & respect for meat. We went back 2 more times for dinner. We ordered scotch, t-bone & rump on the 3 occasions. Perfect! Diane sauce - delicious. Yummy garlic bread & awesome mash & veggies. We also had the delicious chicken schnitzel with gravy. Big portions - we were happy customers everytime. Great service with super friendly staff. Thank you

Really, really good! We went with a reasonably large group of people (10) so we bought our own buzz, but the place is clean and well setup with outside and inside dining. Menu options are better than most like country pubs and reasonably priced. I broke with long standing tradition and went with the fisherman's basket which turned out to be a great choice. None of the group had any issues with their meals so an easy 4 stars.

Portions were a great size. Generous helpings of every item on the plate.
The pizzas are quite substandard compared to everything else on the menu, but can't complain.
There isn't really anything or anywhere for kids to do whilst there.
$120 for a 30 cube of coke zero is also a little steep I feel.

Never been disappointed with this pub, once we discovered it; the food is delicious, well proportioned, ratio'd and presented. The staff are friendly helpful & efficient. Well worth going the extra mile to support this great all round venue. Thanks Bellevue :)

My chicken schnitzel was great. Salad was fresh. But the fries need to be cooked longer as they were distasteful.
Garlic Bread is parsley bread. It's not very nice.
Kids meals are massive to.
Fast service, though.

I was very surprised by chef. The decoration on top of the steak was delicate but delicious at the same time. Enormous portions and good price for it. It's a quite city but with really good food in my opinion.

Great service with old school pub meals at Old School pub prices. No lamb cutlets with a misoglaze here. Panfries salmon done right, steak done the way you like it, and bangers are mash Like you Irish grandmother used to make.

Great pub, fantastic food, friendly n helpful staff, well stocked fridges, plenty of variety, has a few pokies but heaps of fish tanks so u can get lost watching the fish swimming n hiding n snails crawling slowly. Huge outdoor dining area as well as outside designated smoking area which is covered has plenty of tables n seating lots of green grass for kids to play on or horses to munch on. Plenty of history in this pub n ice cold drinks

Excellent large affordable meals. Yummiest mushroom sauce Ive had in long time on my hand crumbed schnitzel. Would recommend.

Eighteen of us thoroughly enjoyed our visit at the lovely pub. All our meals were great. Cory & his staff were friendly & efficient. Definitely require safety rail in ladies toilet. Better still a disable toilet should be built. Great Aussie pub. 🤠🇦🇺🐨

Classic and friendly country pub. Great spot for lunch or dinner with good value pub food and cold beer. Huge deck / beer garden out the back. A must-stop while cycling the Brisbane Valley Rail Trail. The publican permits camping in the shady lawn area out the back for a small fee. Highly recommended pub.

Buy 2 drinks, CC and water at $8.00 a drink. Dearer than an pub in Brissy and then get a the next drink and get charged $10.40 by the manager. His response when I questioned him, he said we are in the country. All good, will never eat or drink there again, and I am local.

Been drinking there on and off for 20+ years. Bar needs to be bigger as it's shoulder to shoulder if busy. Good country atmosphere when it quiet. Meals, size and pricing have definitely gone backwards but. Don't think I will eat there again. Much better value for money in lowood.

A real unexpected surprise!
Super friendly staff. amazing, tasty food. Very large feed! Won't go hungry. Good seating options. I look forward to coming again.

Absolutely lovely friendly staff and excellent quality food that is exceptionally well priced. Classic country pub that is very clean and tidy with multiple areas inside and out to relax. Highly recommended to groups as the outside area is very accommodating. Service, staff and quality food are it’s biggest attributes and I can’t wait to return. Plenty of options for an overnight stay to explore this gorgeous old town.
