Wow, a friendly clean place just off the main road. Lovely staff and great service.

Worst food I have ever eaten I wouldn’t even feed it to my dog the steak sandwich was cold and the plain burger was drier then a dead dingos donga the food is over priced and and not cooked properly do not recommend this food to anyone it will make you sick

Won’t be coming back. This is due entirely to the staff, because the food was quite nice and the pub atmosphere itself enjoyable.
The staff snapped at my 17 year old son for being in the same room as the bar, not even near the bar, and insisted he remove himself to another area. They then double down on being rude, insisting I remove my hoodie whilst inside, without feeling the need to phrase the request (demand) nicely. I remarked to my husband that the staff seemed to be having an off day, to which bystanders informed me “they are never nice here”.
It’s hard to convey the general attitude of the staff I dealt with, other than to say it seemed like they would prefer an empty establishment. They may get their wish if they continue in this manner.

We were part of a tour group which pulled in for a lovely lunch. This is a well presented old hotel with a great menu board. Recommend to pull in for a meal and cold drinks 🍸.

We went up to Bendy Hotel for lunch and were very pleasantly surprised by the friendly staff, great atmosphere, and variety of food and drinks on the menu. Will definitely be back.

Visiting some friends in Tamworth today and drove to Bendemeer for lunch. A great meal (very reasonably priced), great drinks, very welcoming service with a smile, and a few games of pool. Thankyou to the Bendemeer Hotel team for making us feel very welcome. We even left with a few caps and stubby coolers.
Unfortunately cannot comment on the rooms as we didn't stay.
Thanks again, team. We'll be back!

Very friendly and welcoming staff. Great meal in a fantastic setting. Nice to be in a friendly happy atmosphere. Three different meals and all were excellent. Highly recommend the smoked ribs. The fish was also excellent. Beautiful old pub.

The staff were very welcoming. Great atmosphere. Very comfortable (and warm) bed/room. The bar was a nice place for a drink. The meals are very good pub food. I had the rissoles and veggies and no complaints. Then sat near the fire for a drink. If you are looking for a very good place to stay, eat or drink stop here. Highly recommended

The staff were lovely when we went with a big group of people for lunch on a Thursday and sitting out under the trees was fabulous but we were quite disappointed with several meals, schnitzel and calamari were tough and nachos were not at all nice which was a real shame as we had a lovely time otherwise

The lovely owners accommodated our large family at the last minute due to power failure at our own residence. The kids had a blast playing the provided board games, the beds were comfortably and the water was super hot. No pub noise whatsoever. We’d love to stay again!

Stayed at this hotel recently upon recommendation. We were very pleasantly surprised the moment we walked in with decor and general presentation of the hotel and surrounds. Meals were excellent. Accommodation was very clean and comfortable. Would stay again.

Spent a few days in the region visiting family and had a wonderful time there, we had dinner twice with excellent meals, a lovely family friendly atmosphere and super friendly staff will be returning real soon thanks for a wonderful time!

So impressed with this lovely hotel ..called in there with my Elderly mother ..we had a lovely counter lunch the service was wonderful and staff very friendly and helpful ...very clean with a cosy atmosphere .nice lounger and fire place ...great menu with plenty to choose from .. thoroughly recommend this country pub ...we will be back

Ordered the pizza and calamari. The pizza base was thick and dry so we just ate the topping. Calamari was cooked well. Nice and tender but the salad was bland with no dressing.
Staff were lovely, service was good, lovely wine and surroundings.

Look, this place has beautiful views and a great out door area. The staff are lovely but we waited 80 minutes for a burger and nachos. The presentation was not good and it was under cooked with one dish and over cooked with another. The beer was cold and good but the wait time and the food was not up to scratch. These areas need work. If you want lunch, turn up 2 hours early to order.

I had the homemade rissoles with chips and salad and my wife had beef nachos. They were absolutely delicious and beautifully presented. Lovely service and ready in no time, definitely recommend stopping in.

I’d like to thank all the amazing Staff for the hospitality, it was absolutely outstanding. The food and atmosphere were incredible like always. Friendliness of the Staff and everyone else was nonetheless.

Beautiful setting but food let it down. We had Crumbed Nile Perch and Lasagne. Both served with good chips and small fresh salad. Crumb crust on the Perch needed an axe to get through . Must have been crumbed days ago and dried out. Dog thought it was a bone. Lasagne must have been under a salamander as dried out and burned the pasta. Pass on the food and enjoy the setting with a drink.

As a group of 44 people we booked here in advance, a mid week lunch, the service, staff & food was fantastic! So good, a few of us returned for a Melbourne cup luncheon. We could not fault it! Try it for yourself, I'm sure you won't be disappointed.

4 "senior" men stayed 3 nights, Leanne and her staff were fun and very helpful. The rooms were large and clean, even got ensuit bathrooms. The accommodation prices were fair, we ate all meals at the pub, the meals were huge and reasonably priced. The pub had a lovely huge beer garden that rolled down to the river. The pub also has its own lawn bowling club, for $5/person you can have a social roll. Highly recommend if you want to experience an old country pub atmosphere
