What a great place. We had lunch both meals reasonably priced and a good size. And very tasty, the salad bar a fantastic addition.

We went here for lunch with the kids. The staff were great and the place was clean and tidy. All in all a very down to earth nice place for a pub meal at reasonable prices.

We’re interstate travellers catching up with friends in Oakey. Three of us had lunch & drinks on the outside terrace. The owner / chef was extremely obliging regarding my lunch request & presented the most amazing, perfectly cooked steak sandwich, crumbed steak & battered flathead fillets. The chips were crispy and light and he even provided some extra steak for our puppy dog! Top marks for the best pub lunch & staff service we have had for a very long time 👍🏻👏🏻

Went to have lunch at the Bernborough Tavern Oakey twice recently. Both times staff were so friendly and accommodating to our group. It’s not a big space but pleasant. Plenty of menu choices and the specials for lunch were very good, hot, good portion sizes and the salad bar was very good, again plenty of choice. Toilets were clean and easily accessible.
Our group will certainly be visiting again for lunch in the future.

Went today for lunch. Great menu and prices and the plates were full. The team were very helpful. We especially think it is good how they police the check in. Cannot recommend the Tavern high enough. Great safe place to enjoy a meal.

We had our first year anniversary together at the Bernborough Tavern... Nice place to celebrate a very special day 😉 with great food, friendly service and nice ambiance! Great food Chef Richard! ☺

Taco Tuesday.
Great value feed, four dollar tacos for members or 5 dollars for non members.
Chicken or Beef options. The chicken ones were cooked fresh to order with the shells freshly crisped in the oven.
Definitely a great value for money feed, the best cheap feed I have found in town so far.

Stayed in Oakley for work... This place has cold beer and decent pub food. Locals are also great entertainment.

Order 3 x porterhouse steak specials. Steak was under cooked, and cold x 3. Chips were hot and vegetables were par cooked. Salad was fresh but lacking any dressing. Not an enjoyable experience at all.

Meals are a good price and the size of the meal is one of the largest I've gotten at a pub. Steaks are always cooked just as asked and the accompanying chips and salads are more than generous and wholesome

Lunch was great, service was great, free raffle tickets were a bonus. Only complaint was the loudness of the microphone in the bistro was overwhelming and made us want to leave sooner rather than later

Just finished lunch at this lovely friendly tavern. Great lunch stop on the way from Bris to the Bunyas. Everyone is super-friendly and the food is fantastic! I’m taking half this delicious fish, chips, and salad with me for later!

If I could leave a negative star I would went there with friends and had dinner friend ordered steak rare 1st one was like an old boot sent back 2nd attempt steak was blue and still cold in the middle the so called chef was rude saying a blue steak was f##king rare when he asked for money back the manger slapped the money into his hand and was not happy that he didn't want a third attempt. my Mexican parmy was burnt and over cooked and my wife's fish was dry and my sons kids steak looked like it had been on hotplate for a while will never go there or recommend to anyone to go there

Had a fantastic rib steak - big enough for 2 people! The salad bar was pretty good. The smell of the oil was unpleasant.

Great value and great tasting meals. Friendly, helpful staff. Kids room could do with an update but still good to have an area for kids to play.

Great place to celebrate our 2 year anniversary of knowing each other 😊❤ same place where we celebrated our engagement and 1st anniversary together. Food was great and service was excellent, highly recommend the bernborough tavern to anyone who enjoys a great meal and a great atmosphere👍.

Best service and we are glad to stop here the second time and alot more to come. The chef on last night was a absolute legend. The man with the ponytail. We ordered meals but there was 5 of us. My youngest daughter not a big eater so she could share. And he had given us a little single plate for her. He also came out to us and checked that it was right that we only ordered the 4 meals. The other gentlemen that bought the food out was a legend also. Cannot fault this place. She loved it and ate it all I am glad there is fantastic service still around as it fewer and far between but this was one of the best services we have had. Give that man a raise. Thanks mate you guys are a true legend. Ur services will go along way for this business. We will be back 😁
