Worst experience here. Waited 1 hour 30 minutes after ordering meals from the Bistro. The kitchen was understaffed and absolute kaos with few meals coming out. The dining area was dark and lacked atmosphere as many patrons were becoming frustrated due to incredibly long waiting time for their meals. The meals themselves were underwhelming. The Manageress and wait staff stood at the entrance to the kitchen barking orders to the chefs to hurry up. Won’t be returning to this venue as customers are not valued.

We were starving since we didn’t eat have any meals until 3pm but none of us were a fan of the food, and we still had leftovers. The gravy sauce tasted really weird to me, so that ruined the soul of the dish. The schnitzel was also very dry

We went to have lunch for a job well done thankyou appreciation thing at work. The hotel had very good food, it was quick to arrive others said the steaks were great, my Chiefs Special, Beef Ragout A slow cooked beef with a thick beefy sauce that had garlic was excellent, melt in the mouth tasty comforf food. Best food I've had for a while actually.

Went to Beverly Hills Hotel for lunch and it was lovely! The staff were super friendly and there was plenty of space. We all ordered steaks which were delicious and the side of chips was nice and hot. The only reason that I am giving 4 stars is because of the venue itself. The interior is quite dark with inadequate lighting.

Went there twice now.
First time we (3people) got our food all to different times, which was not nice.
Second time the pasta had barely sauce on them and the schnitzel was watery... We're not coming back. For a pub which is putting the prices higher the food/ service is not better at all than any other pub, where you get the same service for less.

Went on a Monday night for dinner with friends. Plenty of space, well lit, friendly and efficient service and very nice pub style good with great variety on the menu. Good selection of drinks as well.

warning warning DO NOT EAT HERE- i was seated for 15 minutes b4 the teenager failure came and took our order...actually served a group of drunk guys b4 us...food very average....chefs were heard swearing....i will never return VERY UNSATISFIED

Waited for an hour before the food was served, even two other tables ordered after us had been served, one of the tables ordered the same food as me.... when asked the staff who arrogantly responded by "I just put the order in on time, its the kitchen who decides the order". Never will go again, ever!

This pub used to be fairly good for a night out 10-15yrs ago, but these days you can really tell the owners haven't spent a single cent on anything outside of the pokie area.
The food is very ordinary, and usually the wait time is what I would consider unreasonable given the low patronage of the pub these days. Beer & wine selection is reasonable, credit where credit is due, but nothing extraordinary.
Atmosphere outside of the pokie area is very dull. You are greeted by holes in the ceiling (some tastefully covered by pieces of plywood), broken air conditioning units, drips leaking from the ceiling (even on days it's not raining), lights out in places, and broken furniture. Also, the toilets feature doors kicked off the hinges, some without toilet seats, broken urinals and sinks, tiles missing, plenty of graffiti, and a lingering stink.
Honestly, this place used to be one of the happening joints in Beverly Hills, but it is now a sad shadow of itself. Given you now have pub chains throughout Sydney that have way more atmosphere, better decor, better service and awesome food, there is no reason to visit this pub unless you are stranded - or you're there just to launder money through the pokies. Avoid this place like the plague.

The pub is great. We go here whenever we can. The food and staff are friendly. Great pub food and not expensive. We go to many other venues which have better interiors but we always come back here.

The menu was more extensive than your average pub selection, and food was quite tasty. I had the lamb salad which was good, with a starter of garlic bread which was really nice. Service and atmosphere are a little lacklustre, but it certainly didn't affect our enjoyment of the evening.

The good: big screen TV for footy, steak was good size. The bad: bathroom had mould, broken sinks, very unclean. Staff have mastered the art of looking busy without actually doing anything. Expect long waits for drinks and ordering food.

The food here is delicious and is the prices are great value. The hotel as a whole is pretty dated and needs an overhaul but I have been happy with the food each time I came. I usually come with a pretty big group and we always book ahead of time. Sometimes the staff have trouble keeping up with us but we’re still pretty happy with the service. A great place to go to for something to eat after the movie which is just a few doors down.

Some of the beers have turned flat recently, staff were quite rude and obnoxious and did not clear tables which were filled with glasses on a busy night, Spirits are over priced. However food is quite good and the sports tv is really handy

Really bad food...worst I've had in a long time
San choy bow is made with pork mince not yesterday's pork belly 🤮🤮 And last time I had pork belly it was crispy on topped contained meat...not this time 😕😕😕 the consolation was the helpful and drienfly bar staff..and one of them was still I training

Past the numerous Chinese seafood restaurants and the restless King Georges traffic, Beverley Hills Hotel provides reprieve for the casual diner seeking a simple one-plate meal. With its huge, commanding space, the hotel not only allows for private comfort but also warmly accommodates your appetite. We came in for the $15 Thursday dinner special of chicken schnitzels and ordered all the toppers consisting of the parmy, Boscaiola and Mexicana. For a roadside hotel, the presentation of the dishes are very attentive and are gracefully served at your table. The second I glanced at the food, I was floored.
Without a doubt, I would put Beverley Hills Hotel down as a permanent landmark because they carry the thickest chicken schnitzels I've seen. Many places sell schnitzels that appear massive to the eye but insubstantial to the belly because the meat is pounded thin. But Beverley Hills deviates from the fray with its gargantuan hunk of chicken encrusted in an amazingly crunchy crumbs. Despite bearing the weight of multiple toppings, the schnitzel maintains its structural integrity with the meat still incredibly tender and flavourful within.
The Mexicana is a beast of schnitzel, heavily loaded with pico de gallo, guacamole and sour cream on top of a bed of saucy pulled pork and soft chickpeas. Yet everything coheres together to deliver a package of deliciousness with familiar flavour combos such as guacamole and sour cream. The refreshing sweetness of tomatoes and onion brings a welcoming jolt to the taste buds which are submerged in the luscious guacamole and sour cream. While delightfully fatty, the guacamole crackles with the subtle acidity of lime that helps with gulping it all down. That's not the end of it, you still got the pulled pork that is softened in a bolognese-like sauce hiding a hint of mozzarella. My words are dripping with saliva as it describes the beautiful Mexicana and I don't know what else to say to convince you to try it!
The Boscaiola adequately translates the Italian cream sauce well to the chicken schnitzel by smoothing the abrasiveness of the crust. Matched with the earthy taste of the mushroom, the cream adds a layer of interest and texture on top of the prominent meatiness of the schnitzel. The parmy is also a decent bite with a rolling cheese melt and spread of tomato paste, though not enough ham to cover the vast, dense expanse of it all.
Taking our eyes off the mains, the side salad is visually appealing with its viridescent leaves and vegetables but the dressing of mayo, balsamic vinegar and olive oil was a tad bit intense. As expected, any pub that has polished the staples will also have solid fries. Beverley Hills uses the old reliable chicken salt and I have no objections against it. After cleaning our plates, we had to take a minute to bask in the glory of that superb feed. So if you manage to leave the hotel without needing to catch your breath from such a sumptuous meal, then scream out to the world about Beverley Hills Hotel. The schnitzels are a good enough reason for me!

Outstanding bistro service. Very nice staff and really eager to please and they went above and beyond to help me with my special post surgery diet. They even bagged up some free takeaway mashed vegies for me as I can only have mashed/ pureed diet. Beautiful food and great service. Thanks again.

I Ordered food and alcoholic drinks for myself, others ordered after we had... despite this many were provided their dishes first and I am adamant that they switched dishes with another customer who ordered similar dishes. This meant that my wife ended up with someone's dish (lucky I watched the dish being served elsewhere first as it was not touched). I finally received my dish after my wife concluded her meal
Despite a huge mess, the staff did give me 2 free drinks without me having to ask, but this didn't really cut it in my book, restaurants should serve all dishes, per course at the same time. Hotels, bars, cafe's and other food places have managed this standard in the past.
Despite this, it was not noisy and if you have sensory issues you would feel fairly comfortable here, the lighting is dim but not so much as to strain your eyes. The facilities are clean and the staff are very friendly, patient and helpful. The bistro seams to be the only area in need of improvement. The food itself was good and the serves were a very reasonable size.
I will update if my next experience is an improvement.

The Beverly Hills Hotel are hosts to a huge variety of entertainment, social clubs and major events. You will always find that something is going on and something else is being created for the near future

My partner and I went to Beverly Hills Hotel recently and have been back many times since.
The food is of a higher standard than you would expect in any pub in Sydney, with suprisingly decent prices.
The head chef was lovely and even gave us a free desert the first time we came....of course that too was impeccable!!!
We visited the first time on a Friday night, and although the resturant was full the service was of a high standard as well.
We could not have been happier. I have recommended this place to family and friends who all agree that it is a great little place and way better than some other resturants on the strip.

Looks like a nice venue. Unfortunately i didn't have a chance to taste the food because after i ordered chicken schnitzel and glass of water, i was told im getting kicked out of there by the manager on duty( male,short hair, short height). After i asked him why he admitted that one of his local patrons who happened to be my "friend" doesnt wish me to be dinning with them because of our VERBAL, non-aggressive disagreement we had, PRIOR to walking in to the venue because my friend is UPSET!
WOW!!!
I mean, what are we in a kindergarden??!!! Makes me question the intelligence, maturity and decision making of the person who represents the venue, who turns down a PAYING customer based on a rumours of his local patron. It is highly unprofessional as a manager to kick out a customer just because his local patron is his mate and get involved in their personal affairs especially when they didnt happen in the venue. Hospitality business is barely recovering from the covid as it is so i thought every paying customer counts. Obviously not.
Please check the CCTV cameras because im not sure if i missed anything out.
It is fair to say, both of us were slightly inibriated, but considering i was drinking water and was willing to eat, i believe it was all within the limits of the RSA regulations where in fact it is against the RSA law to refuse food to an intoxicated customer.
Apart from the poor judgement making, low self-esteem manager with Napoleon's syndrom, other staff was very nice and friendly.

I’ve been awaiting a respons as to why I was kicked out of the pub and a response being let back in. liasing with the saftey officer over a security guard, giving me a life ban when I have a great record with the staff of the venue. I have video evidence of our time in the pub that shows nothing but a good time being had, endangering the patrons when I’m down there studying with the ceo of my company and class mates from the course I was I doing is unexeptable and I demand a response

I took my children for dinner and as we were going to the movies we decided to order from the Dinner and Cinema ticket Menu. I was very disappointed with the ceaser salad which was drenched in Mayo.. the Burger was cold and didnt have anything apart from cheese.. the waitress didn't even clean the table for us No water .. nothing Very bad for me thw whole experience.. Never again in there.

I spent over $500 on the pokies and it never gave me a single free game on any of the machines. They are ratioed into just taking money. I can't even feed my family now because I depend on the pokies.

I live quite a fair bit away but I love Beverly Hills Hotel, it is by far my favourite bar of all time. It has such a nice vibe to it, the chips are the best I've ever had and staff is amazing especially Pat, Nicole and Ashe. They're fantastic. The people there are easy to talk to and can easily just make friends. All in all it's an amazing place to go to and I'm over there any time I can. Keep up the good work guys you're amazing!!!

I have lived in this area for 15+ years and have enjoyed numerous meals in this Hotel, until today.
I ordered the battered fish, chips and coleslaw from the very pleasant lady at the bar, along with a delicious coffee.
The meal arrived very promptly, and I was presented with three (3) pieces of battered (to death) fish, draped over a bed of chips and the coleslaw on the side.
The first cut into the fish told me everything, and it wasn't good.
They should have given me a steak knife, as the piece was tough, dry and inedible. I attempted to attack the second one and gave up, as it was in the same state of rigour mortis (the fourth state of death) as the first.
Notified the staff member of my displeasure and asked her to let "Chef?" know. Although the lady did offer a refund, I declined.
It will be a long time before I return to have a meal at this establishment, and I will be eye balling the kitchen staff first, before I decide to place my order.

I have been there a few times so far. The environment is ok, the food is nice. Unfortunately I had a very bad experience buying a mexican beer. After I was almost finishing it, I realised that it was expired. I went back to the bar and the girl that was working there offered me a new beer instead. It was nice of her. Not nice was the day after that due I was feeling sick. I can imagine it was a mistake and it happens, but, at the same time is their own responsability not serving expired beers... I hope they will keep on eye on the rotation of their own product for the next time...

Hi guys I came in 8 months ago and the Steak was very dry and chewy the food deserves 1 Star and a 2/10 not the best meal I’ve ever had the Chips were really under seasoned and Soggy as well the Salad was also wilted. This place has gone downhill I have to say The staff were a bit stand Offish as well I felt and the bathroom smelt like a public urinal.

Health Inspection anyone? Bathrooms have been in disrepair for months. Have seen so many insects running around i lost count, but at least they move quick than the staff. Kitchen shut at 8.45 on a Thursday when the place was packed cause they were "running out of some food". Whomever owns this pub, doesnt give a &*#! about their customers.

For $16 for a chicken wrap at chips I was expecting something that tasted a little better than something from Maccas or KFC - instead lettuce was soggy and warm and it was utterly drenched in what tasted like store bought mayo and sweet chilli to the point that it was hard to finish.

The Bevo has beeen pretty much the same since i can remember and up until current it's still a great local :)
Read the previous low star reviews a few times cause they were pretty funny ... think they might of mixed up their reviews with another joint haha :D!!
Been to this place early, during the day and later in the evening and have never had a problem .. have actually surpassed my expectations when comparing to other pubs in the area :)!!
Yet no funny reviews at those places ;) ;).
All in all the food is great for pub and the sports entertainment, seating, pool tables & bar are all on point for a great local to hang out at :).
You can take my word for it that if you have been to a handful of good pubs this one is actually a good one aswell ;)!!

Came in for a family get together tonight we had a big crowd.
The staff made us feel comfortable and they were very welcoming from the time we walked into the hotel.
The staff were pleasant, attentive and amazing.
They gave us an excellent service.
They were very friendly smile on their place and polite. The staff even came to the table to check if we were happy with our dinner. they even came to our table to thank us for coming in for dinner.
Food was delicious and quick.
Thank you for a great tonight, once I’m back in Sydney next I will be coming back.
People hardly give great service these days, the girls did and are fantastic best service.

Bar staff do good job all the time.
Place is modern looking and kept clean .
But only reason it's not 5 star is the Kitchen .
Often the food comes out sub-standard to menu description. E.g. Mash potato oven looks like "slop".
and the Beer Burgers....
Omg The beef burgers . IMO has been the major let down. Couple months back .. this place made some really really good beef burgers. Simple construction with beef lettuce, tomato, onion ,brioche bun, and side of onion rings . Was awesome flavour. Very comparble to popular trending places near city.......
Now...
Best way to describe the beef burger here is :
A bigger version of a McDonalds cheeseburger with a undersized beef patty for the a price that should reflect a more premium product.
Sorry Bevo Hotel.. Burgers are a sensitive spot for me... thus the loss of a star in my review.
Please bring back the old burgers.

Bad service generally, in the graveyard hours. Open until 4 am . Small but comfortable area, smoking allowed. Hard to get served most visits, staff disappeared. No service at pokies offered. Okay machines, maybe 2 dozen..Okay atmosphere, could've done much better. Toilets sometimes very untidy and a little spooky. Limited parking. Pool tables. Very spacious pub, except for the pokies area which is quite compact.

Bad customer service, especially when it's a Monday! Asian waitress (today, 26th of October 2015, 7pm) always by the bar not attending to customers' needs. No smiles. Blunt. Very poor customer approach. What a shame.

Australia day 2016 poor food and no service. I had to pick our meals up from the kitchen window after the chef rang the bell twice.

A pretty standard local pub, with nice facilities such as big tv screens and a pool table. The food is nice, we tried the $12 special which for Monday was steak, chips and salad- it was very good. Each night has a different $12 special, we will definately be going back to try them.

5/5 stars for dinner and atmosphere! They are well priced, beautifully cooked. To top off an amazing meal the service was the best I have experienced in a pub in a long long long time! Will definitely come back! 10/10:)
