Wish to share a wonderful experience I had at a party on Saturday night at the Biralee. A young man by the name of Rhys was behind the bar at our private function and he was wonderful. Very polite, easy to talk too and very accommodating to our needs.
Lovely to meet you Rhys, keep up the wonderful work.

Waitress/bar staff was incredibly rude.
Come on a Monday your parmi is $30, but on a Tuesday it’s $15.
Definitely tastes like a $5 parmi.

This is the worst coffee I've ever had! They only give you half a shot per cup! I bought it twice, and it was the same both times! The milk wasn't fresh either!

There for the trivia night. Was a little noisy but you expect that. Was fun and challenging.
Food was really great. Decent prices and our meals were large and very tasty.

The food was brilliant, I have been there twice and both of the times I got great food.. the staff was friendly too.. I will definitely recommend my friends to visit.

Really great food, really great service, especially in the back bar. Lovely bartender. Honestly could not have been any nicer, real down to earth fella. Knew what he was doing. I’d come again every night honestly

Organised my son’s 40th bday in the back lounge and the barman Rhys was very pleasant to deal with. He was very helpful and efficient with his service.

Ordered for the first time via doordash lastnight. The burgers were amazing and the pizza was so delicious! Highly recommend. 5 stars.

One of the better options in town for a drink. Pots at happy hour can cost as little as two dollars, three pool tables and great food. Beers on tap included in photos. I highly recommend

One dish we couldn’t eat (cauliflower) and the corn chip where just eatable. The Wine was $16:40 a glass which a fly landed in one of the glasses & the manager said we should put a coaster over it. Wasn’t at all happy with helping out with a fresh one. Wouldn’t recommend

My wife had the lamb flatbread and said it tastes like cat food. I'm no chef but that doesn't seem ideal.

My recent dining experience at Birallee Tavern Pub last January 25, 2024 was far from enjoyable, tainted by the rude behavior of one of the staff and a series of disappointments in service. The primary issues revolved around an excessively long wait for my order, neglectful handling of the food, and an unwarranted blame game.
I opted for the chicken wings, a seemingly straightforward choice that turned into an hour-long ordeal. When I finally decided to inquire about my order, the staff nonchalantly revealed that they had left it on an empty table because they couldn't locate me. Their excuse? I was seated in the smoking area, and apparently, food couldn't be placed there.
The lack of effort on their part to find us and the subsequent decision to leave the food unattended for over 30 minutes resulted in a cold and inedible meal by the time we discovered it. This level of neglect is unacceptable in any establishment, especially one in the service industry.
Adding to the disappointment was the behavior of one particular staff member who went so far as to blame us for choosing to sit in the smoking area. This blame-shifting was entirely unwarranted and demonstrated a lack of professionalism and accountability.
It's disheartening to encounter such a disregard for customers at Birallee Tavern Pub A successful dining experience relies not only on the quality of the food but also on the service provided. Unfortunately, my experience was marred by a lack of care, accountability, and professionalism from the staff.
I sincerely hope that the Pub takes this feedback seriously and addresses the issues with their staff's behavior and overall service. Potential patrons should be cautious, as my experience suggests a concerning lack of concern for customer satisfaction at this establishment.

I've been here a couple of times for dinner. Staff are really friendly and service is quick. The menu has all the pub favourites.
This time I got garlic prawns with rice. I would say there wasn't enough rice served with it however it was still good. Prawns were tasty. Highly recommended!

I accept that everything is pre-prepared to make it easy for the kitchen staff, but:
Cold chips
Cold calamari
Cold cauliflower tempura
Spartan salad with weird tasting mayo
Kitchen staff not run off their feet - no-one knows what they're doing and not supervised by qualified and experienced person.

Has a few different vibes there.
Changes depending on the day and what they have going on.
Food is usually great, however can be inconsistent.
Has nice outdoor seating area.
One of my go-to options for lunch with friends.

Great dinner tonight, service was exceptional as always. Rhys was our server tonight and he always brings good vibes to the tavern. Would definitely recommend the tavern for a good feed and just a great place to spend time with friends and family.

Good service, cook needs to learn how to cook a snitty. Menu also says rustic chips,they come straight out of a bag frozen, nothing rustic about them. Very disappointing.

Dropped in to the Birallee on a Wednesday night for $15 Burger night. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. The burgers were amazing. So fresh abs tasty. I would highly recommend dropping in for a delicious and a cold beer. Will definitely be back.

Simple 'schnitty' with fresh crisp veggies and well cooked chips.

Brilliant atmosphere and super friendly staff. Unfortunately the burger I ordered had no seasoning in the patty. The other meals that my dinnermates had however were top notch, so I'm giving the benefit of the doubt.
Will try another dish next time I get up to Wodonga and hope for the best!

Been absolutely years since I've been here. Pretty sure I even did work experience for a week like a decade ago.
Was back in town so slid in for dinner, staff are super friendly, over and above what is required, so nice to see these days.
Pork belly with roast carrots and beetroot, steamed bok choi and some kind of magic sweet chilli sauce. I was quite impressed, pork was tender and the fat all rendered so good for the ol waitline compared to the usual roast.

A comprehensive menu covering a range of dietary requirements. The lunch special menu you are ALWAYS looking for but struggle to find. $15 specials menu that offers variety. Staff that genuinely seem to enjoy their job. I have travelled extensively and just want to praise the May 2024 Birallee Tavern for their standout performance. Shout out to Rhys and Lachi for service standards.
