Typical back street pub...friendly staff..hired function room..got all deposit back so got room for free...certainly use them again

Too quiet, not much ever happens, grumpy bar manager lady with no respect. The rappers i heard when last there were the worst. They have only ever had great old style 7 piece band when I was there. Better pubs than this place in Geelong. Guaranteed and wouldn't recommend this place at all. Lucky to even get 1 star.

Not only myself but a heap of young musos and supporters from Geelong were really excited about the prospect of live music at this venue, however they are now private and require a membership for you to enter. Classed as a live music venue on google when they’ve made it clear they’re not. Very misleading.

Manager lady is rude. I heard they do illegal gambling here from an ex employee. Also manager lady let's her underaged child run around an alcoholic bar... Bad bar and bad mother.

I will always know it as The De La Ville Hotel, it's changed, the bar is shorter and wider. But I love this place and always will. Great memories here. So very glad that it is still open.

I heard from an ex employee, that she let's her young child run around the bar! I passed by and I saw the child running around myself.

Had a beer here before Christmas break up, instantly regretted our decision. No atmosphere, bar was dead as a dodo, very gruff service and awful decor. Did I mention the facade is painted black? Won't be back. Ever.
