Yeah it was a pub with some pokies and sports on the big TV. The staff were friendly and engaging - we only had a quick beer so didn't see if they did food.

This hotel in June 2023 was closed and not operating. Only the Sip & Save Bottle shop was operating. A staff member confirmed the Hotel is closed permanently. However they are still doing accommodation and private functions.

There website states there open Xmas day,
Hours might differ... What!
Just update your business hours, im sure its not that hard.

Stayed there for a few nights in June 1981. The West End was cold. Must go back one day.

Stayed for 1 night only. I didn't get to meet the owners, but spoke to two young blokes in the drive-thru when I booked and when I checked in. Two nice fellas who were very welcoming and helpful when suggesting places to go for dinner and that bottle of shiraz to help me sleep!. That's all I want from staff - friendliness. The room was all I needed too, but the TV reception was not great...This, of course, is a first-world problem, but it would have been nice to have some TV choices. Thanx for the comfy stay.

Staff were ok,but the Carlton Draught had that taste about it,so we went to the Demo Club around the corner & the beer was as it should be. 🤔

Recently renovated. Nice clean linen. Headmaster glasses in the rooms. $65 per night. Can't complain.

Pros...Comfortable queen size bed.
Free to air TV.
Small fridge to keep my drinks
and medications cold.
Heating and cooling.
Large bath towels and
complimentary soap.
Lovely and large hot shower.
Very affordable.
Beautiful old pub.
Fantastic central location so
everything you need/want is in
walking distance.
Cons...Small toilet (banged my head
on the wall a few times.
Rooms not very sound proof.
Got woken up by pigeons above
my ceiling.
The pub side is closed and only
available for function hire.

Probably the cheapest place in town to stay. The rooms are clean and the staff are friendly.

Love this place! Andrew bought 5 beers instead of a six pack (mere male amirite?? He packed it himself) and I was making fun of him when we bought our next 6 pack and they gave us one to make up for it 😂😂 so nice! Great customer service

Fantastic old pub accomodation. Highly recommended. Staff were very helpful and friendly. Room/bathroom was super clean. I will be back!

Can get a great room rate for twin singles , basic room,toilets, showers close rooms and bathrooms nice and clean, helpful, friendly staff

Before you go, ask yourself...Are you a type 1 kinda guy??? If not, worry not as it will only take a cocktail or two here before type 2 becomes the only life you know.

A very cosy, traditional pub with an English, rustic look and feel. Very popular with locals and tourists alike. Easy parking. Smoking courtyard. A large, covered, drive through bottle Shop with an extensive range

Accomodation requirements were all meet, Property has many security cameras, able to park my motorbike at back.No overhead structural cover or gate/fence.Accomodation cost was affordable for low budgets.With reasonable facilities, nothing fancy does the job.Better then camping in a tent when it's raining. Food van park in driveway serves takeaway on the weekend in the evening until 8pm.Restaurants,hotels,300 to 500 meter walk.Is not wheelchair friendly or for anyone who has disability from waist down, due to stairs and steps. You can here people urinating when they use the toilet. And walking up and down the hallway. Hallway flooring is not insulated and echoes.
