Where do I even start? The seating felt like I was perched on a pile of rocks, and the staff were as honest and accommodating over the phone until you arrive in person to find out the sports you called up in advance to see whether it was going to be played or not was not going to be on. Can’t call yourself a sports bar when you can only stream two games. The death wings are what they say they are, not for the feint hearted.

What a great find! American style Sports bars are a rare commodity in NSW, so was thrilled to find this on our weekend trip to Canberra. Upon arrival there was really chilled vibes, yet was full and lovely. The place is minimalist with some great big communal benches and bar stools, as well as amazing big screens for all your sporting needs. Staff were so friendly and welcoming, I only wish it was in Sydney and I’d be here every Friday arvo for a bud

We came here a couple of times. The chicken snitchzel looked like they reused the oil to fry the food which made the snitchzel looked very dark unlike other photos I saw from other reviewers. I even didn't finish it cuz it was too dry and hard.
I love spicy food so I ordered death wings, it was great experience but second visit I tried the sweet chili sauce was better and less spicy. Beers was good.

The outdoor seating here is good. Lunchtime meals might take a bit long to arrive, but they are prepared on order and good quality.

Surcharge Sunday , No Capital beer so a schooner of XPA $15.40 , rip off. While it is shoot venue how can justify the price . I think I’ll stick to the Civic pub

Sports bar located just on the main street in Civic.
Large serving sizes and visually appealing however lackluster flavour, ingredients clearly not fresh and possibly thawed from frozen.
We had the 1/2 rack and chicken Parmi.
The rack was quite tough, almost like jerky. Sauce was tasty but could have been applied more.
The parmi unfortunately had no flavour at all. A good parmi needs a great napoli sauce, this one was bland and tasted like plain chicken with pizza base on top.
The one saving grace were the jalapeno poppers. Nest ones in Canberra by far.
If we were to visit again, would only be for a drink and poppers.

So. I've actually been here quite a few times, but I've never actually eaten here. So today we were walking by and needed a quick bite. Time to check it out.
We ducked in - it was busy - but not super busy. Quite a few people sitting down but enough space to grab a table. We ordered at the bar and took out table. All pretty easy.
It was basically burgers all round except for one half a rack of ribs. Couple of chicken and i had the briskett.
Needless to say, in a sports bar, we may have snuck in a quick beer too.
The brisket bruger was tasty. Only gripe was there was some gristle that made it a bit fiddly to eat, but the meat qas good and sauce was tasty.
Boys had good things to say about their chicken burgers. Ribs guy was also happy - the ribs were tender and suitably bbq sauce slathered. Everyone had their side of chunky chips too.
All told, good experience and will be back

Ordered the Buffalo chicken burger and the Jalapeno poppers. The burger was good but the jalapeno poppers were even better, would come back just for those.
Atmosphere in there is amazing especially when its an NRL night, huge tvs and you can sit at the bar have a beer and watch the footy.

Nice Sports Bar even if you are just here for the food. Hat the chicken parma: good, reasonable priced (AUD 20)! Cole slaw was really, really good! There is seating in and outset. TVs everywhere! Recommended, would come back!

Incredible sports bar, great entertainment, food and specials. Thursday, $20 350gm rump and $25 beer tower, and sports everywhere. Yes please.

I had a booking with a deal for burgers. When I turned up they told me the menu had changed and refused to honour the deal even with email confirmation of the deal. Poor form.

I grabbed a greek salad with salmon for lunch and it was so fresh and delicious. Also generous portion worth noting!

I got Uber eats and they didn’t deliver the mushroom sauce which I paid for. So made the whole meal very dry. They also don’t even offer water on the delivery menu or tomato sauce and other sides. Very disappointing. I won’t be going back. Shame as the chicken schnitzel looked nice but I couldn’t eat it dry. The slaw was also old.

I do love a good dark sportsbar, and I know it's tough in Canberra, but the drink prices are over the top for the venue and the food took ages. I know a Monday lunchtime isn't exactly peak, but when it is for an nfl play-off match, you'd think they'd be prepared.
I'll go back but it'll need to be a special occasion. I was going to camp there for the entirety of the first playpff round, but decided to go elsewhere.

Huge lush chicken breast panko crumbed schnitzel. Fabulous chips. Had Tuesday schnitty and beer special. Stayed for trivia. Great night out

Have been here multiple times and never had a great experience. I am not one to leave negative reviews, however, after recently making a booking to watch a current game that they said would be displayed, we rocked up to no avail. We asked them to put on said game that they said they would be displaying (A League Semi Final), and they said they will not be putting this on tonight, despite us making the booking on the basis of us being told that it would be put on.
Hope this can improve, but for a sports bar with 10+ TVs to only display 2 different games, it is just a waste of space!

Had a steak sandwich there which had the consistency of a shredded car tyre. Even the same colour; black. The worst I’ve ever had. Woeful. Avoid

Great range of beer at the right price for this part of civic. Handy menu. Perfect place for watching sport or just catching up.

First up the staff here were excellent. Plenty of screens to watch various games and they even put some baseball on for me ⚾. Had a brisket sandwich which was pretty good though the meat was a little tough for a sandwich. All in all a good sports bar.

Family lunch burgers good and not too greasy. Chicken schnitzel was very good.steak sandwich was chewy and a little cold for my liking but eatable.

Beer is quite pricey compared to places around it. Staff seemed not too interested in providing service. I'd go (and usually do go) somewhere else.

Awesome place to go and get American style food like ribs wings and steaks with Awesome bbq sauces with big screens all over great its a great place to watch the footy, although it is quite small and very crammed together still enjoyable when its not too busy..i got the parmigiana which was great but will definitely get the ribs next time they looked unreal.. seen "cob loaf" on the menu got excited but it was actually quite a let down, very small and bread to filling ratio was to far off to enjoy. If you are looking for small place to have a quick feed and a few beers with a friend or 2 i rate this 3.5/5

Atmosphere is great! Good general selection of beers.
Although, food was well below average - wings are probably the best dish they can serve so would recommend sticking with the wings.
Main issue we had was that the staff for some unknown reason had the back emergency exit door jarred open (I think it was ~5degC outside at the time). This caused a freezing draft to come in and the whole front row of booths were freezing. We closed the door multiple times and even asked if it could be kept closed. But no, they for some reason wanted it open to freeze everyone’s nipples into shards. Won’t be going back that’s for sure.

All you can eat wings? Yes please say no more really good wings had the buffalo, sweet chilli and the honey mustard all where cooked and delicious.

All around awful experience. Ordered an entree, two mains, and a side — the mains came first (approx 5 minutes apart), and then the entree and side came out 30 minutes after. The food itself was an unfortunate experience as well, with my fish having so many bones it wasn’t even safe to eat. Small bones here or there I can understand, it is fish after all, but there were enough bones to physically crunch in my mouth and hurt my teeth. Paid $18 for something I couldn’t even eat. My partner had a steak, ordered medium rare but came out as well done as well done gets, the outsides just straight burnt. He ate it, but it was not an enjoyable experience. After all that, we sat around waiting half an hour for the food that should have come before/accompanied our meal.
Sadly a disappointment all around, ended up having to go elsewhere so that I could actually eat dinner.

Absolutely sensational bar to watch live sport and have a good time with mates!
The staff are very friendly, the wings are yummy and the vibe is cool.

6 stars for the service. Food was a bit slow coming out. The ginger beer was the best I've had anywhere. Good deal $20 for unlimited wings on Wednesdays. Can't complain. Bourbon flavour was best. Will be back.
