We love going there but wish we could get a nice meal

We had a two week stay near the tavern for work and ate here each night due to Chef Mary. Mary was amazing, going out of her way to look after us each night. Catered for my gluten free requirements easily. The meals were outstanding and great value.

Waiting at the bar trying to get stuffs attention for service while stuff member
Talking to another stuff that was working in the bottle shop. That was frustrating.
Once I finally got her attention and she came over she never excused herself or say anything.
I ordered my drinks with please and thank you but not a single word from her not even the cost of my purchase just takes my money then gives me the change.
Would be better finding stuff that want to work rather than having stuff that need money and hate being there

Visited the tavern yesterday (17/8/22) for the very first time as I’ve just moved to the area and I was very impressed! All staff were friendly and helpful. Emily (I think that was her name) who was the gaming host on shift was fantastic! Her service is exceptional! I used to work in the gaming industry so I have high expectations when i visit venues and the gaming room was very clean and the food and drink service was excellent, she was so quick and constantly offering hot food and snacks. I’m happy that this is my new local. Great place

This venue has welcoming staff & great food at the right price, everyone in our group loved the Bligh Park Tavern.

There's no food anymore. It's all been converted into gambling machines. The bar area is very sports oriented with footy pub tab etc.

The food is amazing!! Each time I've gone I've ordered different meals and all were amazing , highly recommended

Staff are very friendly and welcoming. I would be taking the 'family'bit out of the name however. It is not a place to take children as there is often near naked women prancing around. It is a workmans bar!

Outrageous prices for drinks of low quality. The bottle shop has very slim pickings in the wine department, very expensive and no variety of brands to choose from in different price ranges. Most of the bar staff not particularly friendly and not attentive to customers, always have to wait or call out for service even when there's 3 of them standing around doing nothing. They could all use a course in customer service, extremely poor of the lowest standard I've ever encountered anywhere in my life! I hate to leave such a negative review of this place but I hope it will urge the licensee to make the necessary changes needed to make it the place it COULD BE!!! Mediocre isn't good enough. The saving grace is the bistro which at least has pretty good food and prices though I 'm disappointed that you can no longer take away the specials and have to eat it in, we used to get them a few nights a week because we have a disabled person at home who can't go there to eat. Since they changed this, we haven't been there to eat or ordered anything to take away at full price. Big win for maccas, kfc, dominos, etc! I had a food business for 8 years, taken it from bust to boom in 12 months, I DO know a thing or two about running a business so I'm not criticizing for the sake of it, I just hate to see wasted opportunity.

Nice local pub and pub-meal place. Good atmosphere. Playground for children. Meals good value. Music was a bit loud for a week night.

Hands down favourite venue in the Hawkesbury!
The locals and regulars are so welcoming and I try and take my family to their Thursday night trivia as often as I can!

Great food, great price. The meals used to be quite small but new management must of taken over as the meals are very good sizing and are great. Cleanliness of the pub is the reason why it’s missing one star.

Great food at very reasonable prices. Quick, friendly service. Always parking available + wheelchair access + ramps.

Food is very poor and the porkies are no good very rigged just to keep themselves in rich in looks lol laughing 🤣 IV lost heaps I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone it's all about it's looks nothing more.to take from the poor to keep their place looking like a palace 👎👎👎👎

Food is extremely good especially the Tuesday/Wednesday chicken schnitzel but staff aren't overly friendly but food makes up for it

family nothing family about this place its a rough place for locals and theres alot of trouble there the licencee is rude and even causes trouble outside of work ive seen bikers have fights ive seen under age drinking even in the car park u get young teenagers hanging around cars its a very uncomfortable place

A very friendly family-oriented venue. Meals are very good with a fair bit of a variety to choose from for quiet outing. Usual parking because there are a few other shops at the location but of an evening there's plenty of off-street parking.
