Yesterday Mothers Day we booked a table for the family at another place. They didn't keep the table. We cLled the Bonneyview and while they were flat out they made space in the public bar for us all. We had an amazing time. The meals were lovely and the customer service was great. They could not do enough to make our experience great. Thank you to the staff for saving our Mothers Day. The 13 of us are very grateful. We will be back!

We had our Christmas lunch here today. I have to say you had me at Parmy!! All the dishes we got were great and the Aussie parmy I had was just divine!! I’d never been here before and I can say that I’ll be back, with the family next time!!

We had a server by the name of Anna and she was exceptional. She checked in regularly, was very kind and got us everything we needed. I highly recommend eating here, especially if you have Anna as your server!

We had a lovely lunchtime meal (4 people) at Bonny View on Friday. It wasn’t busy at all with only 2 or 3 other tables occupied.
Service was very quick with ordering either via the counter or QR codes. All the meals ordered were fantastic with the beef cheeks being highly recommended.
Overall from the service to the meals, I can’t fault anything at the pub. Especially if you are after a quick lunchtime meal.

We had a lovely dinner and bottle of wine. There is a great range on the menu that suits all preferences. One concern we had was quickly cleared up by the wonderful young fulla that served our table. We will be back.

very good placem cheap drinks, menu pretty good, location very easy to find.
got a little issue with my order, ordered creamy garlic prawns and got grill prawns. was good anyway

The steak meal we had was awesome to eat, well presented and very well assaulted my nostrils with a great smell. Thank you to the young staff lady that served us, she was very courteous and well mannered. Would come back more often for a quiet meal or two thank you.

The menu here is a little illusive. The fish appeared to be from a cardboard box, similar to I&J or Birds Eye battered fish that can be bought from a supermarket. The steak was cooked to my liking but the salad was left wanting. The $5 salt and pepper calamari topper consisted of 4 small pieces that also appeared to come from a supermarket cardboard box.

Small but clean pub. Good food and prices are reasonable. I find the pork ribs so tender and flavourful. ❤

Service was great from the lady in the bistro. We spilt water and she rushed over and was polite and offered to refill our cup. Food was okay/reasonable considering it’s a pub. Chips were so salty I felt like I was going to go into cardiac arrest (the good kind). Call me what you will, but no cheese on the burger? I understand that it can be added for a price but like many others before me I’m sure they were just as disappointed when they discovered this after they ordered their meal and it was placed in front of them. Surely it makes more sense to just include it and those who don’t want it can have it removed or at lease confirm as most would ‘assume’ a ‘burger’ includes cheese. A burger without cheese is like fishing without a boat. It’s still doable but it’s no where near as fun.

Prices much higher than other venues in this local area between Bald Hills, Warner & Kalangur.Drinks at least $2 to $3 more here.
Meals too small for the price.After asking I was told that I wouldnt be hungry after ordering a meal for $19.
I was very hungry after the small meal I received.I prefer to go to other local venues to save money & be satisfied after a meal.

Nice LGBTQIA2+ friendly place. Always smart to go on the special nights like Schnitzel Wednesdays for $16 or Bonnys burger night on Thursdays for $15. Fairly priced although I have had a couple times where the chicken schnitzel wasn't cooked very well. Clean hotel with a spacious sports bar area. I do wish they'd fix that loud banging toilet door nearby the eating area though. Large car park but not always very welcoming for lower vehicles as it's an inclined entrance. Additionally, regular garlic bread is a little expensive at $10 when most hotels offer the exact same for $8 or $9 nearby. Can be very noisy inside as the eating areas are quite small so I'd suggest eating in the sports bar area if the tables aren't reserved.

Mothers day buffet breakfast was a great experience, lovely setting, awesome food & a great atmosphere.

Just had the grilled Salmon, so delicious. Will be back. Best Salmon I've had in ages. Loved everything on the plate. 10/10. 😋

I really liked everything around this little hidden away block of businesses, but particularly Bonny View Hotel with its history, friendly staff and great quick bites. Their hot wings and blue cheese sauce are👌👌👌. I think they had a happy hour but it was typed up in tiny text on an A4 sheet behind the bar so my only complaint is that being not too user friendly. Didn't matter too much, prices were great and they had a bunch of Aussie classics (not my fave) and a delicious craft IPA (🔥)

Had a few work functions here. Amazing food, excellent portion sizes, reasonable pricing, consistent quality and prompt, friendly service. Would easily recommend as a place to drop in and have lunch.

Staff were all friendly and helpful..
Drink prices were a bit dearer than i expected from a small pub.. But I guess that's how things are everywhere now..
All up.. nice quiet little spot.

Great food, service & atmosphere.
Forget the bigger & over priced Eaton's Hill Hotel or Pine Rivers Bowls Club.
The Bonny View ticks all the boxes without the over crowded dining area.
A nice place to grab a decent meal with a large selection of drinks.

Extremely clean and wonderful customer service ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ from Hana at lunch today when we ordered 2 x steak sandwiches. These steak sandwiches were the best we had ever had in a very long time. The taste and the texture, the side of the chips, were amazing! Thank you, Hana!

Excellent service & kid friendly, efficient & quick service
Kids menu good & colouring books & crayons given which was appreciated
Specials were a great selection too around $ 19
Ice cream to select was a bonus for kids
The play ground is a great addition too
The pass is a great idea to get the $10 off first order as well

Eight (including a wee one) of us headed here for a quick lunch last week. Sadly the atmosphere is not compelling; the chairs and table were sticky and crumb-y, and service was at a minimum. One unhappy chappy came to do a quick swipe of aforesaid chairs and table after our request to clean them. Ordering is at the counter as per. Food was promptly served tho' no 'service with a smile'. I think we mostly enjoyed our food: we had two calamaris, one steak sandwich, one ravioli, one burger with extra wedges, and two pumpkin and halloumi salads. Hubby said he only got a few small cubes of the pumpkin and of the halloumi, so he felt this was a stingy serve. He also said the wedges were the best thing on the table - the little one certainly enjoyed them. My calamari was well-seasoned and tender, with a helping of fresh salad and chips. The ravioli disappeared very quickly, and the steak sandwich and burger were well-received. This is not necessarily a venue I would hurry back to, but I can see that for families after a well-priced meal, this place could be a winner. There is a play area for the kids just outside which is handy, and of course plenty of parking (always a good thing).

A hidden gem in Bald Hills, the restaurant in this hotel is brilliant. Constantly producing outstanding high-quality food with sensational flavours & pleasantly presented.
