Without commenting on the pub, the drive through has a serious lack of range, and didn't have a lot of beers they were advertising in stock. Not worth coming here for the liquor store.

The Breaky has always been a good place to get a cold beer but I've grabbed a feed here a couple times recently and I'm very impressed. There's a lot on the menu that catches the eye and they even do half serves on a few things for those on the fence.

Nice place for a cheapish meal. Could do with some updating , Could smell a lot of cigarette smoke 😑

Incredible garlic bread with a huge dollop of butter served by a man who was more handsome than " Buddha" Hocking. A lovely place.

Here in Geelong waiting to cross to Tassie dropped in for a feed. Wow what a great meal. Thursday night steak $25 and just perfect. Partner had flathead. Huge serve and superb.

Great place for a cold beer after your day. Steak's cooked to your request and Parmi's you just have to try them

Good venue. Friendly staff, good food, good prices. Pool table available and outdoor area is good for all seasons. One of the last real pubs left in Geelong.

Friendly service and good old style Pub meals that are affordable,It's good that there is still friendly old Style Pubs like The Breakwater left in Geelong that offer traditional affordable Pub meals that are 5 Star.
The best Beef Schnitzel I have ever had and beautiful cold Beer on tap.

For the first time today we popped into the Breakwater Hotel for a bite to eat...Myself and two girlfriends had different meals...The chef was amazing and wow can he cook I had a juicy moist thick chicken snitzel with chips and gravy...My girlfriend had the Chicken pie with salad and chips which was amazing the best chicken asparagus corn pie I have ever tasted..we had a bowl of steaming fresh vegetables with gravy so flavor some and very cheap..The atmosphere was fantastic and whom I can only assume was the manager behind the man was a real gentleman...we will definetly be going back to that great little hidden treasure...Thanks guys much appreciated see you in a fortnight!!! Michelle Von and Stacey!!! 5 Big Stars all the way!!!

Finally a real pub. Great people! Thank you for making us feel welcome. Travelled all the way from Sydney and felt nothing but love from this great place!

Don't expect anything fancy because this is your local great old-fashioned pub. The service was with a smile and nothing too much trouble. Our meals were big serves very well priced, delicious and served with a smile. We'll be back.

Celebrated my daughter's 40th birthday there. Loved the casual atmosphere, the staff were hard working and friendly. Reminded me of pub experiences of my youth. Don't change!

Best food at a very reasonable price. Love the ambience of the 150 year old building. Being able to buy 1/2 servings is definitely a plus! Will be back!
