What a great ppub and restaurant. So the kids play ground is very neat, tidy and clean, there is a movie room type set up that kids can chill in with bean bags and chairs, there is some pay for games up stairs and also some pay game claw machines, which are a tad annoying because the kids keep asking but still look fun. The huge climbing ropes and slide are a favourite. The food was delicious and huge...$27 for a parma is expensive it was expensive real chicken breast and huge.
So we'll worth it. The chicken ceaser salad was soooooo good. The venue itself has awesome tables with TV's at the end, I attached a photo, its seriouslyover cool, either kids shows to make mum n dads night easier or a footy game to watch with mates and beer.. very cool and something iv not seen before. I would say this place would suit almost anyone . Then there is the icecream bar that you can choose your toppings. I t s great because if you just want a little bit of f I c e cream then you serve yourself just a little bit of it. The kids loved it.
The service was really quick, we were there mid week lunch. The staff were really friendly.

We really had a great time here. We didn't have a table booked, but the staff where amazing and got us a table. The kids had so much fun playing while we got to eat. The dessert wow was good. Food was amazing and great fair prices. Hubby enjoyed his stake.

Went to Buckleys for Good Friday lunch with the family. Got to sit right near the kids area (had 3 littles). It's so nice to be able to go to a restaurant where the tables and chairs aren't all cramped together. The playground is awesome, food is awesome, plenty of parking, price isn't too high. Such a great place to eat!

Went there for a 9 year olds birthday. Food was good. I had the roast of the day. Came as a decent sized serving. Mest and veggies were all cooked nicely. Also had a side of chips which I thought could have been better as they tasted like cheap Fri fried frozen chips. Also $5 for small glass bottle of coke was a bit over the top. Has a good playground for the kids which is ideal for holding kids party there.

We just had our kids joined 7th bday party at 10 am and wow WHAT A DISAPPOINTMENT 😢
From the minute we have arrived it was just not right, we couldn’t find anyone to welcome or help us, there was no staff around and only pokies with some people probably still going from the night before (not the greatest environment for kids bday party).
A few different people have attended us in a bit and explained what time food comes out. We agreed to the times and let the kids play, play centre there is AMAZING . When the food came out (one platter of chips and two platter of margarita pizza and platter of fairy bread) the platters were dumbed onto table with metal thongs on one side of table so this required us to serve each child one by one as this was small kids party - so we spent about 15 minutes serving the children.
When they went back to play - soon staff came said cake is gonna come out in 5 minutes so we called all children to come sit and wait - the table was full left over food, plates, cups, crumbs .. no one would come and get table ready for cake so me and my friend were cleaning up the plates and leftovers - staff members seen us doing this but wouldn’t take over- we left all dirty dishes on the food pass and got a dirty annoyed look for that .
Cake arrived in 20 minutes (after we got told it was in 5 ) so the children just sat there annoyed waiting and missed on 15 mins of play.
We also got overcharged as we paid deposit and then they’ve charged us full amount the week of party.
$400 for 13 kids - when we could book a table for free and get couple of bowls of chips and two pizzas with jug of lemonade :( so disappointing…..

Weekday parmi special is good value. However, the chips weren't seasoned at all which was disappointing. Adding a side of salad is also $8 (expensive).
Uncle Buck's ice cream bar is a fun experience. Would be great if it was a little bit more affordable.

We arrive for their opening time of 11am so our kids can enjoy their play space. Their kids area is AMAZING!! The best we’ve seen.
Staff were pretty unfriendly but the manager was helpful.
This was our first time at Buckleys. We are seated. We wait 40min to then find out that you need to place your orders at the register. For first time customers, this was disappointing. Waiting on staff to take our orders and no one comes to the table. This was not communicated at all.
The ladies bathrooms were out of hand soap. I let one of the staff members know. She tells me she will ‘leave a note for the cleaners’. How long would that be? So they don’t have soap on their premises? Who knows how long it had been empty for and how long it will still be empty for. Shocking!! How many staff members used those toilets today and served food to customers with hands that had not been washed? Yes there are hand sanitising stations but I’m sorry, that is not the same thing!!
Our kids had wasted a lot of their lunch. As they do. When asking for take away containers I was made aware of ‘their policy’ that we are not to take food home with us. This is something that patrons should be made aware of BEFORE ordering food as to not be wasteful. Though of course this information is withheld because that would affect money being spent in their restaurant.

Waited 45 minutes for my panini to come out while all my family ate, asked three times where is was and when I eventually gave in, I asked for a refund. It came out in the meantime and I copped attitude from the staff for noting that I would now be eating alone. The manager refunded the meal unaware that it had finally come out. When she came out with the cash she promptly took it back and said "well you've got it now". No apology or attempt to repair the terrible experience. This place could do with some customer service 101.

Very surprising experience. Ordered the $22 Aussie Parmi, not expecting anything good at all. Turned out to be of a standard portion which would probably average $28+ anywhere else.
Tasted amazing! Excellent value for $22. Can't go wrong

Variety of entertainment for all ages the kids playground or the sporting type of people or maybe 🤔 pokies and bingo for the elderly . Meals and drinks 🍻 at an affordable price 😉

The service was very friendly and professional. Liv was very nice to my family as was all the other staff members. The food was a hit and the place itself is so cosy and relaxing we went back the following day.

Thank you to all the team - functions ladies, bistro, bar, chefs and everyone involved in Wendys 55th Babba party. We know it was one of your busiest nights of the year and you hosted our event beautifully; appearing almost effortless.
Presentation of the room, support for band / decoration bump in, timing and communication throughout was faultless and at all times professional.

Service and venue great (for families) Food is just ok, I had the steak sandwich, way too much truffle in the mayo. All you could taste. Husband had butter chicken - not great. Good sized kids meals and they come out quick so that’s good. Kids Cheeseburger is tasty. Need better beers (have so many local craft breweries they could tap into).

Paid $28 for a pizza that’s base was thinner than a wrap… absolutely ridiculous. Dominoes sells more of a pizza for $5 with a thicker base and more toppings. Ridiculous. Base is paper thin!!

Overpriced food and drinks.
Ribs was tough and bland, odd BBQ sauce. It is also dry without sauce on top, like the American style.
Could not finish the meal.
The oysters were not fresh as the waitress told us at the counter that they were.
A jug of a soft drink will cost you $20 and above.
On the plus side worth going for the kids.

Not a bad little place. Went here for the playground for my son but it was for an older crowd, not a 3 year old so we were a little shattered. Meal was ok, nothing fancy. Service was nothing really as you have to order yourself at the kitchen for food or the bar for drinks. Remember your table number when you order. It was very busy to for a Saturday lunchtime and we were initially told we had to sit outside in the scorching heat as there were no tables. There were plenty of free tables. We did not have a booking.

My family visited Buckley's with a large group. Everyone loved their meals, including some very fussy kiddos.
The kids had so much fun on the playground and at the dessert bar.
All the adults had a lovely time too.
We will be back shortly. I will recommend to all my friends with kids. Thank you for a lovely evening.

Last Thursnight for dinner. We had a Family reunion from Ballarat, Ocean Grove. Albury. 17 altogether. All Staff were very friendly and helpful. Food was beautiful. We were last to leave and by the time we said our goodbyes a bit late not once did anybody push us to hurry. We all thankyou.

Great family, friendly venue for a bite to eat. Large carpark. Baby friendly change table facilities. Bistro style food, order at the counter and they will bring to your table. There is a large play area for the kids with different sections rated for different ages, as well as a large screen TV and paid games. Food I recommend would be the gnocchi, risotto and kids fish and chips.

Food is delicious but what happened to the portion sizes? Porter house steak $46 and the salad size was very very small - recognisably small for others to comment on.
Very fast and efficient and friendly staff! Again good is good but portion sizes have changed

Extremely disappointing that they could not give me a take away container for my main meal. I have never been to a venue before that does not do this. I am not a big eater. I ordered pasta and had to leave basically a full bowl behind. I paid good money for my food. Get up with times Buckley's!!

Best atmosphere of a family pub I've experienced since lockdowns. Great place for a small event or family catch-up. Food was a little over priced however for the portion size was alright.

A wonderful venue for a family celebration or dinner with friends. We were there for a 7 th birthday lunch with the family. Buckley’s was packed with happy families doing the same thing this Sunday. Its so family friendly with the best activities I’ve ever seen for kids of all ages.
The Menu was small but had all the favourites on there. The serves were large every thing was bulked up with fries though. The ice cream bar is a huge hit where you get to make your own concoction and then pay by weight. They turned out to be roughly $8 each.
The seating at the bistro is varied with different sections. The booth tables with the tv screens were popular with the people that meed that. There was a 2 hour limit on dining during covid restricted covid rules. The staff were very attentive and pleasant. There were huge function rooms available and a large gaming and small TAB. Huge screens on the walls showed sports. Recently renovated it was clean and facilities were fabulous.#kidfriendly #indoorplayroom #familyfriendly #icecreamery

Amazing food, but be prepared to wait for it. Kids meals out super quick but quite a wait on other meals. Kids love the ice cream bar.

A great place for a meal for families and friends. It has a wonderful kids entertainment area as well as a bar and an ice cream counter. The only downside was there was not an option to take leftover food home.
