We went out for lunch yesterday and this was our first time at Burpengary Tavern.
The staff were very lovely, we were seated quickly. Once our food was ordered it came out very quickly and was cooked perfect.
They are very well priced and I can't fault the quality of food. We will be back.

We come here on a weekly basis and are never disappointed. The bar is on the small side but the restaurant is ample. The meals are large and cheaper than most. A great pub for a mid week drink and feed.

Walked in with low expectations and was very pleased to have one of the best tavern steaks I’ve had. Steak was cooked perfectly, sauce and chips were awesome. The service was brilliant from everyone, even the security, and the pricing was very reasonable. I was lucky enough to even show up on a Saturday when they had live music. I’ve signed up as a member and will definitely be coming back.

Undercooked crab. Warm oysters. Brought it to the attention of staff. Reply was iam the only customer to complain. Then sent off email. Reply it is cooked to food safety standards.

The girl taking order had a very cheerful and happy face the hole time with not a problem attitude. The meal was really yummy. The area was relaxing

The food here is great. Very well cooked. The staff were friendly and the inside was nicely decorated.
The chicken schnitzel was panko crumbed and perfectly cooked. The rump steak was medium, tender with a nice char on the outside.
The onion rings were fantastic, soft on the inside with a light crunch in the coating, I wish i knew how to make them like that.
I would have given 4.5 stars if i could. The only thing holding them back from a full 5 star rating was the lack of any lunch specials. The menu, while very nice, seemed standard all day round. If they had a lunch menu I'd be there every lunch I had free.
The menu wasn't stuffed with alternative hipster options. They had a good range and they seemed to cook what they offered very well.

Service was immediately upon arrival and although there were a lot of people in the tavern we did not have a very long wait for our food. The staff always have big smiles and are courteous and friendly.

Random stop by for dinner on Monday night and was impressed with the meals we had. Great price, heaps of specials and variety on offer with a big range of beverages to suit. Service was excellent cheers

People, the steaks, bloody awesome! Close to the best steak I had! Cooked to perfection medium rare.
Lots of parking and easy access. Staff are polite and service is great. We had a shot at the TaB and got few winners. Pop in on your travels!

Ordered a roast + dessert of menu. Asked what desert was she pointed to the board. Ok so I didn't see the seniors price when i ordered. My bad wasn't told. Ordered an extra side of chips and a beef sniddy. Charged 36 for mine instead of 18$. Ok I'll wear it. The order comes out with no chips and chicken sniddy. The lady did not take the correct order. PS. Was a great roast

I had not been to the tavern for a long while and I couldn't believe how much it has changed for the better of cause everything was excellent I will surely be making regular visits back the atmosphere was great as well

Hubby enjoyed his Burpo burger with the lot. I had the Pumpkin Pesto Chicken with sweet potato and broccoli.
I wouldn't order this again. The chicken was steamed not grilled and a bit rubbery, the sweet potato under done and crunchy, the broccoli was nice.
I would come back again and try something else. The menu is quite extensive and staff are friendly.

Have lived in the area for years but never visited until last year when we went for evening dinner. Great food (book first if going Tuesday or Thursday evening as membership draw makes it very popular) with budget priced seniors plates. Desert is great and well proportioned if not sold out due to popularity. I would suggest looking at their site for specials etc. Convenient if driving out from Brisbane ,heading North even if it means a slight diversion to get off the Bruce Hi-way or if heading into the City but don't want to nudge and budge with the city eateries. Locally accessible via the 'back' roads for us locals. Great friendly staff who will get to remember you after a few visits.Having said all, went tonight for the members draw and thank you to the Darts team won a meat tray, so not a bad night after all. (note: not paid or employed by this group or even know socially)

Had a great time at the Burpengary Tavern, as they had their "Mullet Day" outdoor event. All ages were welcome to join in the festivities - more mullet hairstyles than you could possibly imagine! 🤣
Live music entertainment all arvo by the Fat Pigs band, food and drinks, jumping castle & face painting for the kids, with a junior and adult Mullet Competition held. There was even an onsite barber to cut & style the best mullet hair for everyone!
As a regular feature, the Tavern does great meals & drinks, is family friendly, has lovely staff and they also have a convenient drive-thru bottleshop out the front.

Food was beautiful, very tasty and done as we requested. Staff very efficient and happy which created a nice relaxing family atmosphere. From the time we stepped through the door we were met by very polite, efficient staff who seemed to be happy to be working at the Tavern. We have joined, so we will be back. Well done to the manager/owner you have a wonderful team.

First visit to the Burpo on 23 May with six other family members. Firstly, your staff were just so lovely and helpful. The food! Absolutely so much on our plates and so very delicious. I only live 1 km away so guess which is my new favourite Tavern? Congratulations on wonderful staff and great food! Roslyn

First time visiting The Burpo. I had the Rissoles and mashed potatoes. The rissoles were a bit too well done, but it was very delicious. Looking forward to paying another visit in the future to try something different. 😀

Dropped in for lunch. Staff were courteous and very helpful. Lunch was awesome. We shared a pizza together well cooked and delicious. Certainly will go back again.

Don’t bother unless you enjoy a lot of fat on a steak 😅 already had a gift card from when one came out still mooing and this was from two of the porterhouse steaks.
Couldn’t be bothered complaining since the lack of care last time, a $30 gift card doesn’t even cover the cost of the last one so we tried a better cut - don’t bother wasting your money here 🤦♂️
Calami topper was definitely from frozen too 😅

A very friendly pub. We went there with our motorhome. We were tired after 8 hours driving. I asked the young lady at the counter if we could rest for the night. She asked the manager and they accepted it, extremely hospitable. Thank you!

A mate and I had dinner there last night and I have to say it was one of the best pub feed I've had in a long time. Orded the rump and ribs for $29 with the garlic sauce pawns topper and for the the price I was surprised how much you got and how good it was. The ribs were actually cooked in a smoker the meat just melted in your mouth. I definitely recommend the place definitely will be back

After our 4th visit last night we will never return again. Rude and arrogant bar staff that obviously hate their job. Tried the steak which was burnt, tried the parmy which was frozen and had the burger last night which was freezing and the chips were scalding. My wife's meal had mould on the cauliflower and my father's meal was incorrect. Didn't bother complaining as I tried to complain once before but the waitress just wanted to argue with me. The carpet needs a good clean as the room smells of something old and wet. An awful experience worth forgetting. Stay away! Zero stars.

A frequented spot as its its food, service and atmosphere are fantastic. Great place to take the family or even if your solo dating the night away, this is the place to go.
