We did not mind to pay the standard price, but unfortunately the food quality was really bad and service was poor. One more thing, they ripped off your money if you don't think it twice. 1. We did not call the special fry prawns fry with noodle. We rejected for the third times, but the service put on the table for us. it was not a special and charged us full price. Prawns was horribly poor quality - very soft dead maybe more than 14 days old in the fridge. If you have sea foods at fish market, you know the quality. 2. Hot tea pot, we did not call, but they still charged you because of policy. Rhodes Phoenix They did not charge us dollar cent. 3. Take away - they charged you $6 just 1 box. What do you think? 4. The Barramundi Fish was really bad quality. If you have been at fish market, you know exactly fresh and no fresh. We have been, chef gallery, taste of shanghai, stone bowl, The star, The Crown, China town, Burwood, Campsie, and so on. We have never had very bad experience like that before.

Very good Asian food and cultural environment! Especially the fresh and tenderness seafood! Love it large spaces and beautifully designed toilet as well.

Thought this was like all other clubs but the restaurants are a different league. Food is plentiful and delicious. You have a choice of eating in District 8 or the Horizon restaurant. To eat in the Horizon restaurant you need to book ahead especially on weekends when it's super crowded. Meals are a bit on the expensive but definitely worth the experience. If you want cheap meals, eat at District 8 where you have to que up to pay for your meal selections and get a buzzer to tell you to pick up your food at the food station where you selected your meal. So if you want roast duck and rice, go to the roast meal area. If you want desert, do pick up at the desert area. The serving sizes are big, so you do get value for your money. The only drawback is that on weekends you are fighting with everyone else for a seat, if you want to eat near District 8. Otherwise there are lots of seating outside District 8 restaurants. If you don't want to eat at either restaurants there is always the traditional pizza and bistro meals. The place is undergoing renovations to include a Novotel hotel. You can see that membership is growing, over 60,000 members at last count and growing. Needless to say the place is crowded with Asians all the time, mainly Vietnamese who know how to sniff out a great deal and a nose for good food.

This place has undergone a major face lift since last I was here, and the addition of a Novotel hotel to the complex is amazing and not what one expects to see!! There are multiple things to do here in addition to their core purpose being poker machines. There are numerous ping pong tables, pool tables, people lounging in sports bars, and playing chinese checkers. It's like a big retirement home, and it draws a lot of people. At the time of writing, they were building another level to what is already a substantial car park. It has so much going on that I looked at the model of the planned improvements looking for an olympic size pool. I could not see one, but perhaps it will be in the hotel

There are several restaurants in the club, I tried the District 8 one. The food wasn't very good. I had the Masaman Beef Curry It was terrable I really don't know how they could screw this dish up but they did. It was, gluggy nothing like any Massaman curry I have tried, it also didn't have potatoes in it, see inset picture it was 18 dollars I only ate it because I was very hungry. Bad effort guys sorry but it's the truth. The dumplings were the only saving grace.

Please check the food quality before giving to a customer, that is poisonous and this will push someone into emergency !

Limited menu after 2:30pm so we got here too late (just after 2:30pm). Food from limited menu was awesome tho. Better signage needed tho - we couldn’t figure out where to order and pick up food and there were many EXIT signs but no ENTRY signs!

Jewels of Cabramatta. Never expected to be like a palace inside, combinations of small stall restaurants and the sitting arrangements feels like you are in modern Asia. The food is almost perfect, presentation, pricing, texture, flavour and portion wise was adequate to my liking. Definitely would comeback and try hundreds of other foods. Friendly staff and clean place. Highly recommended.

I Had dinner at District 8 food court and it's a fantastic experience. You can order food from one cashier with choices from multiple restaurants and a buzzer from each restaurant alerts you that your order is ready. Amazing atmosphere. Very clean and friendly staff. The choices of dishes caters for all diet types. Highly recommend this place for a nice casual meal. Finding a car park it's quiet a challenge on the weekend.

I don't normally write reviews, but I feel this is needed. I recently visited Cabra Vale Diggers Club on 30 May with my parents for dinner at Bistro 1925. The food was lovely and couldn't be faulted. However, we were a bit disappointed that the advertised special was for members only, which wasn't clear beforehand. After dinner, we spent some time on the gaming machines. There was an issue with one of the machines, and while the first staff member who helped us was quite rude and unhelpful, the technician who came afterward was very polite, helpful and provided excellent service. Overall, we had a pleasant evening thanks to the great food and the friendly technician. A little more clarity on specials and improved customer service would make the experience even better.

Huge club with various places to eat, drink and also gamble. The food is Asian focused and the variety ranged from yum cha, street food and there’s even a bakery and juice bar. The sports bar is decent with comfy seating and a massive screen. There’s quite a bit of construction which makes the car park a bit difficult to navigate. Entrance to the car park is on the side street

Had my birthday here, was good. However, when it came time to pay the bar TAB. Was over 2k. When looking at the bill later on house vodka was $9 for a shot + extra for post mix. We also said people are only allowed to get house alcohol. However was charged for top shelf scotch multiple times. When we informed the events coordinator she came back to us first saying that she didn’t know she had to inform us they raise the prices for alcohol for events??? Then told us she was informing an investigation and never got back to us. Once again, $9 for a shot of house vodka alone….at an RSL club. Really?

Great club with a variety of food from Western to Asian. They have a large food court area where you can choose different Asian cuisines from different small restaurants (Vietnamese, Canton, Shanghai...). They also have a large seafood restaurant "Horizon": a-la-carte for diner and yumcha for brunch. It would be better if they can have an digital app so you do not have to show your membership card like other clubs, since most people carry their mobile these day! Currently the club is under big reno for expansion and a hotel...

Friday night it was very busy and hard to find a table had to walk around couple times to find a table took 30 minutes to finally get a table. My nasi lemak was not great. One part of the chicken looked pinkish raw. The curry was nice. Sad it wasn’t coconut rice it was normal rice. It came with spinach which was a weird salad to have with nasi lemak. The chicken had too many bones not much meat. The crispy pork was nice. The noodles were nice too. The beef in the pho was good as it was not dry but the soup was too salty. I loved the mango pancake but the mango was too cold. My fav are the drinks, the boba milk tea was good but it was too milky. This place has so much variety but I would only come back for the crispy pork.

First time I visited this club. I had yum cha here, food is generally very good, I am very impressed! People around this area are lucky! The taste of the food are really Asian flavors. We were glad that we arrived before 11.30am and easily get a table without queuing. We brought the Chinese tea leaves, however $2 per person still apply, this is how the rule here, as explained by the cashier. So we paid $8 for hot water. May be I should bring my own thermal flask next time? 😂 just kidding. There is one dish we tried, it is not part of dim sum selection. We made special order, fried tofu coated with salted eggs. It is very good, please be caution as it is very hot. I forgot to take a photo! The environment is very nice though it is a bit noisy. It is normal. Overall, I will come back for their food in bbq area, their daily special, their other cuisine in ‘Brasserie On the Park’ restaurant.

District 8 is now open and the food, service and atmosphere was excellent. I enjoyed the dumplings and walking around the venue to see the art. A few drinks from the bar went down well. The place was still under construction but I think everything would be finished in around two weeks.

Best yum cha at Horizons and even better service! Turns out it is 30% off on Tuesday lunch service, which was a nice surprise. Really great experience, we will be back. Along with terrific dumplings and noodles we enjoyed roast duck and bbq pork. The mango pancakes were delicious too.
