We having a birthday dinner here with all my friends. We don’t gambling or take any alcohol and they want to check us ID. I have ID but my friend don’t and they want to kick us out and takeaway out meal. We said fine but where we can seat to eat !!! . They should said at the begining, food is good but too bad service

We have our 21st birthday celebration and got kicked out because one of my friend was 24 but didn't bring passport with her. She only have a copy not original. They still not accept it. Ruined my birthday party we didn't purchased a single drop of alcohol. Ruined our birthday party

was impressed....didnt expect good quality vietnamese food at this place..it was raining then, and it was a very spacious place so why not give this a try..enjoyed it!!might be back for more..

This spot is perfect for grabbing regular drinks and relaxing at the bar. It's usually quiet when we come in after dinner, with plenty of seating options to choose from. The service from the bartender and security guard is reliable, and the staff are friendly overall. 👍

The regular clientele makes for a welcoming & friendly atmosphere. The Friday night raffles are always fun if you win, and the bar staff are very obliging.

The Kitchen in this place serves the tastiest Viet and Thai Food, and very reasonably priced

Service - Anthony and his team provided the best service we have had in a long time, we were treated like we had known them for years and it was our first time!
Food - Absolutely delicious, could not fault any dish we had.
We went Sat 11.05.24 for my son's pre 21st dinner and we will be back, we have not stopped raving about the service and food, honestly can say that it was the best in years and we eat out a lot.
BTW - make sure, if you go you try the Melon Bingsu dessert, it was absolutely amazing!

Not good half an hour wait to get food took forever , you need to tell customers if it is going to take this long, mains came out at different times and I felt like customers whom ordered after me got there food before me.
Do better.

Nice restaurant with thai cuisine. Serve in big portion. Park very easy just beside the hotel, and pay $8 for full day. The ticket you can change with free drink at the bar. Inside very cosy ambience cold AC.

Look the price is little expensive but the manager was really great. We just needed fried ice-cream and dining was so busy, he made space for us.

LILY the Asian lady at the bar is ABSOLUTELY RUDE AND UNPROFESSIONAL as a manager. Me and my 2 friends went to the restaurant to order food as it has been recommended to us. The food at the kitchen and service was good and all workers were respectful. One of friends went up to the bar to order an Alcoholic drink and all was good no ID was asked , then me and other friend went to order a NoN Alcohol drink and we was asked for IDs, we both provide Service NSW license on our phone and was refused service as we don’t have a physical one, as it was a license area. But there were kids who were there. Lily who said she was the manager came to where we were eating and explain how we look underage and in the first place shouldn’t have been served food and we need to leave. I asked her why did she pick and choose who to ask for license and my other friend was asked. The staff at the kitchen told her that we have already paid and they can’t ask us to leave until we are finished. My friend who was not asked for ID went and other me and the other friend a non alcoholic drink and was served by a new staff and all was good no ID was checked and we received our drink. She then see’s us drinking and enjoying our food and comes back with the security because we apparently were tormenting her by eating and asked us to leave. She didn’t allow us to eat our food that we paid the kitchen to provide to us. She called us names and rubbed in our face that she was the manager and she can do anything she wants. She assumed our ages even with ID I would recommend the kitchen but the Bar with LILY is most unprofessional and untrained workers. Lily needs to be fired and learn some customer service. BEWARE OF LILY she will ruin your night

I WOULD GIVE A NEGATIVE STAR IF I COULD!
Today, I went to play pokies at Cabramatta Hotel for the first time. After playing for about 10 minutes, I was asked to leave and stop playing because I had a shopping trolley with me.
I tried to negotiate with the gaming attendant (wearing glasses), asking if I could leave my trolley somewhere if the hotel provided a place, so I could continue playing and possibly win my money back. She curtly refused, citing hotel policy, and did not give me any explanation or solutions. I felt like discrimination.
I have never had this experience before in any gaming rooms, so I sought clarification from the manager. I eventually spoke with the manager, who revealed that he is Kevin, the licensee of the hotel.
When I asked him for an explanation, he responded with questions to me if I wanted him to answer. He was asking what would happen if 10,000 trolleys in the cabramatta were in the gaming area. This was ridiculous and made me feel stupid. I pointed out that there are only 30 gaming machines, so at most, there would be one trolley per machine if everyone brought one. I asked for a solution to hide the trolley good or place to leave, but he responded roughly and carelessly, telling me to just go play somewhere else, not here or at Cabramatta.
I understand and respect hotel policies, but I expect a respectful explanation. The staff, especially the licensee, should treat customers with respect.
I felt like I was being expelled from the area, which ruined my day.
I hope the hotel management will consider providing notice at the door to prevent this kind of situation, rather than kicking out customers after they have already spent money. Thank you.

I used to come here many times, but Yesterday was a terrible experience. Me and my brother came to eat in there, we bought foods, and came to ordered one glass of coke. The boy who can speak Vietnamese at bars wanted to check our ID, my brother had a physical card and i just had a photo ID card in my phone. He said we weren't allowed to eat here, because I LOOKED under 18 years old. I said even if I am under 18 years old, why should other tables around us with children and teenagers be allowed to eat? As for me, even if I'm under 18 years old, why I can't? He said that we DON’T LOOK LIKE A FAMILY. What a stupid answer. I felt it was unfair. And We just came to enjoy food, no beer no alcohol, we never ever think it would be so terrible and then I had to change my order to take away in anger. We, our family and friends have been here many times, but nothing like this has ever happened. The food was nice but I WILL NEVER COME BACK AGAIN. Be careful, maybe one day, when you come here to eat, it will happen to you !!!

I felt it was unfair. And We just came to enjoy food, no beer no alcohol, we never thought it would be so terrible and disappointing and they started getting rude to us and being aggressive towards us and then we were kicked out. We, our family and friends have been here many times, but nothing like this has ever happened. The food was nice but I believe i wont be bringing no-one here or suggest anyone to come here.

It's awesome. Friendly staff great place for cool drinks, celebrations, delicious meal.bar and relaxing hotel at/ in the heart of Cabramatta business area, all your needs. Train, taxi, banks, meeting point, all lovely well set up ( hotel) sir. Enjoy thank you 😊

I ordered an alcoholic drink no ID was requested but when my cousins who is also the same age asked for a drink they refused to service her even though they wanted non Alcoholic drinks. I spoke to the Manger Lily who was absolutely rude to us. 30min after she comes and kicks us because “we were tormenting her” but we’re just sitting down enjoying our meal.
The kitchen staff were amazing and the food was lovely But the bar staff especially lily is such a horrible manager.

I came here to have a dinner on weekend with my friend, we ordered and paid for food in the kitchen bar, then we started to ate. Everything happend was normal like so manytime i came here before until when we went to the bar and ordered ONE GLASS OF COKE. The male manager asked for my ID (i'm 30) i showed him, but that not finish, then he came to my table and asked my friend ID, she showed him that she have a ID in service NSW app (she is 24), she didn't bring physical ID. He didn't even look the ID on her service NSW app and he said we are not allow to eat here, we must leave the restaurant right now. I was really angry, we were eating and we just bought a coke, we didn't get any alcohol, why he treated me and my friend like this?. I meant IF YOU ARE NOT ALLOW ANYONE WITHOUT ID, YOU MUST CHECK THE ID AT THE DOOR, OR AT LEAST AT THE KITCHEN BAR, WHEN WE ORDER THE FOOD. WHY YOU CHECK THE ID WHILE WE ARE EATING????? What a stupid service. NEVER COME BACK. This place doesn't even deserve 1 star!!!!

Food tasted like our hometown. We came for lunch at the weekend and got kicked out because I looked under 25 and didn't bring my passport with me. Male manger didn't listen and asked to leave. Didn't drink alcohol at all. My boyfriend is 28 and can not stay either. Watch out, everyone. Should not go there to listen to the manager 'lecture'

Food are delicious but it's a bit overpriced. Environment are beautiful and lively. Staffs have good manners but lack of proper training and gives false information that could lead to confrontation. Need improvement.

First time inside the Cabra pub. I was impressed at the friendliness and helpfulness of all the bar and restaurant staff. I’m not a gambler so didn’t have a look inside the pokies room but it’s discreetly out of sight. Reasonable range of beers including a couple of craft beers of the pale ale and dark variety. Very reasonable prices for schooners I thought, especially given many other pubs in Sydney now charge over $11 a schooner. Lots of local families enjoying lunch or an early dinner in the dining area, and I love how they’ve got a carpeted front sports bar to cater to those who like the old style pub, while out the back there’s more RSL style tables and chairs and a separate natural light-filled smokers’ area which is a nice spot to sit and drink provided there aren’t any people smoking nearby at the time. We’ll be back.

Excellent quality various types of food. Thai cuisine plus steaks are available.
On Sunday afternoon, it was very busy. Night time is totally packed (according to a guy behind the counter).
They prefer cash and don't accept credit cards for less than $20 and there's a surcharge for credit cards payments. For $42 it was $1.32 BESIDES that, I will be happy to dine in here

Cabramatta Hotel is across the road from Cabramatta Station. Good atmosphere, amazing food and good drink selection. Cabramatta Hotel has a wide range of food selection with its large menu choices, whilst providing a good feed for the family and kids. The place gets busy during dinner times and if you don't mind doing your own service by waiting in line to order, placing your number on your table and getting your own cutlery, then you cant go wrong at Cabramatta Hotel. The pub area focus more on betting, drinking and pokies for those who are interested.

Bad customer service at the bar. The Male manager and a blond hair girl keep eating and talking while letting customers wait. Rudely, talk with customers like I do something wrong. Complained to management, but they ignored me.

A place not to visit in Cabramatta
Please refrain from this pub only the kitchen food is top nosh and kitchen side ambiance is so welcoming, however on the other hand the security guard are useless and the licensee too is dam and foolish please don’t waste your time and money on the beers are well as the games. They told me I was ban from the hotel without an explanation and I think they mistakenly think I was someone else. How dam can a hotel not notifying you of what’s going on. I don’t deal with useless management. I have worked in hospitality for over 10 years however I use to notify members if they are ban to come to the hotel however this hotel use the words only when I visited them 2 years ago. I can consider them only if they email or call me to know what’s happening if you are around Cabramatta please only go thier competitor Stardust Hotel instead. They will discriminate you based on your colour of skin hence be careful when you visit when you are dank skin. I would definitely not recommend to visit this place. Services is terrible and staff are ok compared to other venues however management is appalling. Management should be rembering that the customers are the ones paying your bills not the other way around.
They told me I was ban for life what a joke
On top of that a hotel who puts rubbish outside on the streets where people walk disrespectful the Cabramatta area and council it a shame

A patron looked in bad shape and started throwing up in the dining area(she was alone). Bar staff just stood by and watched as this patron kept throwing up and could barely stand up. We advised the bar staff and security of the situation but they took their time to help the patron or clean up the area. Bar staff and security need to understand once they have allowed a person onto their premises they have a duty of care. Very unprofessional establishment, won't be coming back here again.

A long-time customer here, love the food. Ordered the food sitting down to eat with my girlfriends she is 24, doesn't bring ID. I'm 28, and I got my ID. They are so bad. The unfriendly male bar manager asked us for ID and kicked us out even at lunchtime, and we did not drink alcohol. Luckily I have refund from The Kitchen. I ask everyone I the community to STAY AWAY from this unfriendly place at Cabramatta Hotel. Love the food, I'm going to take it away next time and won't spend a cent in this hotel.
