We will never support this pub again, my partner & I were there today with our 6 month old in the bar in the far corner (we were the only ones in the pub at the time) we were asked to remove ourselves from the bar area & go sit in the restaurant because of our child now that is all well & good (I’m not sure on the licensing of the pub) but the reason we were asked to leave the bar is because a worker that was not on shift mind you told the bloke that was on shift to tell us to move, in the mean time the worker that was not on shift had her little boy running around behind the counter in the bottle shop & behind the counter at the bar WITHOUT shoes on. So we left & you’s unfortunately lost out on three main dinner meals & many drinks. Disappointing considering we are locals & spend a lot of money in the pub. Mind you that wasn’t the first time we had the pram in the bar & nothing was ever said.

We went to their restaurant early thinking it would be busy so near to Christmas. We were the first there. We collected the meals from the kitchen doorway and noticed they were huge servings. My barramundi was delicious but the chips were barely warm except for those under the fish! My family liked the chicken schnitzel and the steak - but their chips too were just warm. The gentleman who was very busy had time to chat with us which we appreciated. It's a nice place and we would consider another visit. (As long as they promise to serve hot chips 😄)

We had lunch here yesterday and the food was outstanding. I haven't tasted a pepper sauce so good for a very long time.
The only downside was a few flies around the dining area, which I recognise is hard to control in this weather with doors being open and shut constantly.
I will definitely be back to try the lamb cutlets.

We came here with friends on their recommendation. The menu has some delicious options and are very reasonably priced as are the drinks. Unfortunately the choices that my husband and I chose just seems to be lacking. My husband chose the Amatriciana pasta, which was lacking in chilli and any other flavour. I chose the Garlic Prawn Hot Pot as it was a main course. I was expecting more than 8 prawns and two slices of 'bready' toast. It too was lacking any flavour and I think that the cast iron pot was too hot when the cooked prawns were poured in and the garlic was burnt. The pot was definitely bubbling for quite some time when it was served.||The meals that our friends were served were certainly much more generous and looked delicious. The burger which was carried past us did too.

Was booked to stay on a Friday/Saturday night for a music festival that weekend. Booked months in advance. Confirmed our booking with the staff on Tuesday. Had our booking cancelled late Wednesday night (which was a public Holliday) with nothing more than a email to tell us. Terrible service on the phone. Do not book accommodation with this hotel, you will likely be let down

Visited the bistro only. Not the easiest room to get to or find, you need to constantly excuse yourself and go through the TAB. An average room, not overly inviting but ok. Attended for dinner and it was amazing. Chef Luke certainly outdid himself with the Barramundi. Also good to note the bistro is open for lunch and dinner 7 days a week. Parking is fairly easy with a 45° angle curbside lot. Wheelchair access is not advisable, but possible in the downstairs areas.

Very roomy comfortable pub !||Service was awesome . Prices were great , ||The best part of the night was the food ! ||Spectacular dishes huge serving size . ||Salmon was Devine .||The Hawaiin burger was the best burger we had had in years .||The chicken royal was beautiful with mash and veg ||The chicken snitzel with Mexican topper with yummo and the peeper sauce was bloody mouth watering ..5/5 .we all couldn't wait to get home and relax as we were so full .

There was sixteen of us for lunch last Sunday and OMG all the meals came out together and they all were hot. There was not one complaint. This place is a hidden gem for great meals and the prices were very reasonable. WE arrived at 11:30 and most of us left around 5:30 as the staff were so nice and friendly we didn't want to leave. This is going to be my second home for meals out. Can't wait to come back.

Stopped in here for lunch. Had the Schnitzel and likely best I have hadz gravy was spot on, chips as well as salad. On tap beer was expensive and not a huge amount of seating but amazing food!

Service was poor meals were barely average and the menu has to many items for a small venue that's probably why their running so many specials. The staff wanted to talk to each other more then serve customers

Not the prettiest pub but has some local charm about it... Bartender was friendly with the regulars and the cocktail menus and food menus looked updated and fun for a old pub. Dining room had been done what renovated and back deck looked like the place to be on a nice sunny Saturday sesh 😎🍻

Nice little pub, with friendly staff. I only popped in for a drink on my weekend motorcycle ride , so I didn't have a meal but I overheard some other bikers saying that their lunch was pretty good. Also sells zero alcohol beer which is all I drink while riding. It's amazing how many places still don't sell it . Good stopover pub

My family and I absolutely love to eat here. The meals are absolutely amazing and not to mention the garlic bread 🤤

Loaded fries are worth try, could share between 4 adults massive serve. Caesar wrap was delicious and full.

Just had lunch and awesome !
Firstly Barman was super helpful and explained everything and the Tooheys Brown was a great drop.
Secondly food was outstanding!
We are both in the trade and were so pleased with the flavours.

I’m sorry to say it was very average. We ordered bruschetta which was served as a cold chopped tomato with onion and cheese in a small dish. Toasted bread roll and couple table spoons of balsamic glaze in another dish 👎🏼Big thumbs down. The RIBS where very over cooked and dry. The vegetables were watery and tasted like where heated and frozen. Very disappointing and won’t be recommending to others.

If I could afford it, I would honestly come here every night just to order any of there chicken snitzels! Not that the prices are bad or nothing, I just need a better job 🤣
I would recommend this joint to anyone who is in need of a massive feed! That taste amazing!

I brought my family here for dinner on Friday. The food was outstanding and the staff were even better - very friendly and helpful! I highly recommend the burgers and schnitty with the creamy squid topper!

Hi was my bday dinner food was discussing cutlets were dry as plus were nearly off couldn't eat them .when we approached the chef about it he got hostile. So thanks for a memorable bday dinner not :-(

Huge meals
If your up for a challenge try the stacker of the week it consists of 2 huge chicken schnitzel with the pub's choice of topping that week it will break the strongest man or women.

Great reception and pub. But the rooms do need a bit of work. The window didn’t work. There were no light globes. And there were lice and cockroaches in the room. The shower also doesn’t work. Overall great pub just wouldn’t recommend staying there😁

Great experience. Pleasantly surprised by the attention we were given and the friendly hosts. Kids meals came with an activity pack and ice cream. Meals delivered to the table. Huge portions, couldn’t finish mine. Great value at $18 for the burger special which compared in quality to the offerings from Milky Lane. Will return for sure.

Grabbed dinner here and food was pretty good, good portions and served hot. Only negative is the lighting could be a lot brighter and not sure if they had the air-conditioning on but it was getting pretty warm in their the more people turned up

From the outside the restaurant doesn't look like much however after coming here for dinner with our family it was overally surprising. The food is great value and the staff were friendly and accomidating, One of the cooks even talked to our little one as he went to the kitchen door way to say hi. The bar has good priced drinks and its not overally big so it isn't too crowded. Only suggestion would be to have a sign outside directing customers to the resturant to walk around the back for the entrance so we don't need to walk thru the 'pub' area.

Found the bar staff very unfriendly , the lady was more interested in chewing gum than serving people she was very rude while we were ordering our meals. We had to go through the the front bar to buy drinks as they weren’t serving drinks in the restaurant which was okay but to try and get through the tables and chairs in the front bar with drinks was a little hard as no one would pull their chairs in to let you through. The locals definitely don’t like outsiders in their pub.

Don’t bother even reviewing this establishment because the owner is full of lies and excuses. My order wasn’t read back to me and we weren’t advised it would be a 2 HOUR wait for 3 meals. The owner says it was a busy Sunday. I had sadly made the MISTAKE of coming into this establishment and It actually wasn’t that busy. The staff is INCREDIBLY rude! After waiting for 2 hours we got served a cold meal! The owner of this restaurant will probably reply to this review in a very childish way, look at their interactions with other people who’ve said negative things. Bottom line, I recommend this place to people who want to deal with 1. A cold meal 2. A wait time of 2+ hours 3. An owner who probably spends that 2+ hours thinking of excuses for any criticism they receive online 4. Rude staff

Best cheesy garlic bread i've ever had in my life. I drive an hour to get here, i keep coming back and each time i bring more friends + family!
The staff are always delightful, caring, passionate, and the food is always consistently excellent no matter what you order. I've definitely become a regular!
