Went for lunch, walked out with nothing. Bistro only takes cash and the bar refused to give any cash out even though I was planning to buy drinks. Meanwhile they're taking commission on $10 ATMs.

Visiting from Gold Coast, and WOWWWW!!! AMAAAAAZING. Customer service was a amzing and the size of the Meal!! Well worth the money.

This is a great place to be! Staff are extremely friendly and super welcoming. My encounter with one of the workers in the main bar, Phi, was hilarious. He served me with a big smile and seemed quite enthusiastic with the job. Food portions are also huge and so yummy. Overall, excellent services provided and an inclusive environment for patrons.

The staff and management are extremely rude, they claim to be open 24 hours, 2 nights in a row, I rang before going to the tavern to find out if there TAB services were open, both times they confirmed this and I told them I would be there in 15 minutes and both times they closed the facilities 10 mins after I called, making me waste my time to go out to there venue, most likely just to get me there to play the poker machines, which will drain my pocket quicker then the time it took me to get there but this wasn't the end of it, when I mentioned to staff how this isn't right to treat your customers like this, they went on to mock me because I said I won't be coming back to an establishment that treats its customers this way, it's very poor form to treat people this way.

The hours they said it’s 24/7 but believes me they are just make it look kool but it’s not as advertised I was ride all the way to them and hopefully to play get my money.. big black security just kicked me out with out explain it he’s just exploded how disrespectful of customers services.. so just let you guys know where to head to have fun

Really good pub meals. Variety of menu options, and food quality and portion sizes is good for the price.

Really come to like this place. Great for sports events. Staff are friendly and the food is good with large servings.

My colleagues convinced me to eat lunch here after a work meeting and boy was i glad i did. There’s a lot of varieties and the prices r pretty good, i had the pork chop with veggies and mash and it came early and it was delicious and for only $12 . Will be visiting more often.

My $20 sirloin steak and chips looked good and 15mm thick but the meat was tough to chew and swallow and seemed to have no taste - I sprinkled salt about 8 times looking for some flavour and never found it - the chips were the typical yellow chicken salt looking things that were edible dipped in the pleasant mushroom sauce ramekin but otherwise yeah nah - I left most of them on the plate - others enjoyed their steaks so maybe the more expensive steaks might be better

Just a great pub steak. Don't be fooled by the picture, the sizing is massive, the plate is massive and it's lovely. Plenty of space on the plate so your vegetables ain't getting smothered in the steak sauces or juices 🤤

I went here with my work mates for a mate's birthday. Prices are very reasonable comparing to what others charge. I only ordered salad, and my mates order steak. Their meals are big portions for a reasonable price. You will have pay for parking, so maybe park on the street if you want to come here. Overall. It was a great experience.

I'm sure I had photos of this amazing place but alas I cannot find them at the moment, so I will have to visit again to get the photos. Well the food was quite large and very tasty, with a huge range. It is what pub grub should be. It can get busy at times and seems to be first come first seat here which was pretty good. Must admit only went to the food section of Cambridge Tavern, next time I'll have a better look at the facilities, it was very kid friendly and there was a pool table. Good job will be back soon for photos and a more explained review.. I suggest a visit at least just once.

I don't quite understand an eatery place run in a Pop but does not accept bank/credit card. So if you don't have cash on you, then bad luck...
I think they only accept cash, so they can rip off the ATO.

I always love going to this place with my clients. I am a support worker and the staff there are super friendly and helpful. We love playing pool, watching love sports, the food is absolutely fantastic and tremendously worth it for the price. Definitely give it a try if you're around. You will love the vibes.

Gentlemen who takes our orders is so exceptionally friendly and delivers the best service delivery hands👍down! He always explains each contents of my take aways and he’s always on point and professional. Quality of my Caesar chicken salad was not only the best I’ve ever had, but It’s the best chicken Caesar salad I had the pleasure of eating.
We always look forward in coming here there are various selections of steaks and meals and comes in big portions and the venue is clean and its worth every penny and you won’t be disappointed. As I’ve viewed there’s ample parking.
However, having a membership with the fishing club has helped with the prices of alcohol beverages. I definitely recommend this place to anyone✌🏼.

First time eating here and just had, The BEST COOKED T-BONE I've had in a long 😋 while. 5 🌟 all the way.
2nd: Meal 100% as perfect as the first meal. Had the Sirloin for $22 🥩 😋😋😋 🙂🙂🙂🏅🏅🏅🏅🏅

Everything about the Cambridge is awesome except for one thing, no matter what time Ive tried calling there no one has ever answered the phone, not to mention when you call you can barely hear the message on the phone because it's so low , come on guys , what's going on??

Can't go wrong by coming here, they have a good variety of foods and portions are very decent. Cheap but quality steaks and food. Fast service and a nice atmosphere has become a favorite to visit when you are hungry and don't know what to eat!

Bar staff were rude and aggressive, he told me that my ID does not match with my face hence he can’t serve me. I even show him my bank cards to prove that it is really me however he refuse service. I feel they need to go to school and learn customer care. It a place where no one would like experience & face this. It’s appalling and been in Fairfield it is a disgrace and disappointing. I have RSA and I did not par take any alcohol however the bar man who has a day off drinking in the premises how sad to see no policy and procedure in regards of staff drinking on the day off at work. It brings the place down in a sense that it degrade the standards. I am only saying my view and I strongly feel that I can’t recommend anyone to go and have a social drink on Sunday. It was a pathetic experience and appalling to see people like this Asian bar man behind the bar my opinion is, he need to find another career than hospitality. If I was a manager i will have get him to do other work than being at the bar because of the attitude he has maybe kitchen or back of house which will suit him best. Please don’t destroy our hospitality field if you are not able to find another career soon customers will stop coming. I am rating them one star for now coz I believe there a big room of improvement.
They are at a learning curve stage and according to me i categories them on 1 star in term of food and service but it some time it is a nice place to chill with friends not always
Second time it happened again
I meet the manager on 9th February 2018 and he refuse to serve me again because the staff told him it’s me who review them However I bought drinks before but he was only trying to show that he has the powers, so that staff can see that he is working as well as backing up or the mistake they made on Sunday. Repeating a mistake is something people tend not to do hence here they were proud of their actions which surprise me. He said the same thing that my ID is not matching with myself became I look younger than the way I look which I was shocked to see this happening. He advice me to get my ID fixed coz the ID doesn’t match on how I look now however it was issued by NSW RMS and they said it doesn’t not mater I need to go back to RMS & change the Photo IMage which will cost me money not for free. The fact that is individuals ID doesn’t match to individual characters and face not the pub or individual to make a decision even though I provided the bank card match my name on it.
On top of that they even forced me out of the pub and and managers friend took advantage of physically harassed me in front of the hotel today 9th Feb 2018, beat me up, it took me two days to eat or swallow food because my jaw was beaten badly. The security guard and manager come in play because they saw this happening and been they friend they kept him in the premises.
The truth shall set me free please guys don’t even try to go there
Refrain from this place forks if you want to experience bad and attitude staff please go there if you want to experience worse service please pay them a visit but I will personally recommend you to go somewhere else not this pub at all folks
