Went to order Dinner at bistro at 7pm on Saturday night and it was closed . Only giving one star because I had to

We hold our monthly club meeting there. They are always friendly and try to behelpful. Prices are good, the food is basic but well cooked and presented.

Unfortunately, i was disappointed.
At first I thought the prices were cheap for wine and food but given a bottle of wine with lid on, no ice bucket. Can’t comment on the food because it never came. When i asked the waitress where the food was after almost one hour she said ‘oh the receipt must of got lost’ was then told it would be made straight away. 15 minutes later still no food, it was only 2 entrees. Asked for a refund and refund was given but no compensation for sitting waiting for one hour. No manager on duty to speak to.

The venue needs some TLC as the carpet is scary looking.
Serving more authentic Croatian dishes is nice 👍 though was disappointed with the sardines dish lately, the chef with the glasses doesn't get this dish. That was great in the past but I think they have changed chefs. The prices are very low, so I recommend if they have to increase the price a couple of dollars to enhance the quality then please do, or change chefs?

The bistro does really good food. Like pub food but several levels above. The servings are all huge. It is always hot and fresh. And the prices are reasonable

Super little club, lovely staff & manager. Great chef who makes really high quality club nosh and the Croatian community is fantastic, always welcoming. Plus you can always get a park!

Sensational food in the restaurant and the friendliest staff at the bar. Excellent prices and a central location. I'd give 6 stars if I could.

Only called in for a couple of beers but they were cold, service was exceptional & had good atmosphere. I'll be back for a feed next time

Old fashioned service, prices and great atmosphere privded by locals that like sharing their tucked away spot.

Not the fanciest place in town, but good food for a reasonable price. Resch's beer on tap and my favourite veal schnitzel is back as dinner special.

Is a nice club with great staff and nice facilities, the only downside is that I have eaten there several times and find the restaurant food to be very hit and miss, I have been given the wrong orders and have had to wait while others after me recieved their food. On these occasions I was made to feel at fault with no apologies or reconciliation.

I ordered $46 rib eyes 450 g steak but I got given $20 200 g rump steak. I know because someone else near my seat got my steak. When I complain, I didn't get proper apology nor partial refund. I just got blank face from the waiter. Never order steak again from them. If I can give a negative star rating I would have.

Good service and delicious (and very reasonably priced) pub food. Club could do with a facelift though, decor is a bit 90s.

Friendly staff, great atmosphere, good selection of beers (both bottled and on tap), spirits and wine. The bistro serves amazing food at a reasonable price. Great place for a family meal, function, or just to unwind at the end of the day with a drink and a chat.

A global local. That is, a friendly suburban club with a genuine Croatian community. Friendly groups of Croatian grandfathers late into the night. This of course means an array of southern slavic spirits, adriatic beers and (it must be added) really quite good ćevapi on the bistro menu. Of course you'll find eight or so local beers on tap alongside alongside pub favourites like a chicken parm' or steak and chips (and at club prices too) but avoid these in favour of a few long pours of Stara Šljivovica with a can of Osječko.
