Well sorry but this place was terrible last night
Dining Room
Yes it was Thursday before Good Friday and yes it was busy
But it started when our booking wasn't ready it was on the computer not not on the sheet whatever that means
Our orders took nearly an hour and when our friends order arrived first when they ordered after us I knew ours was lost
Asked about it and strange they asked our table number with it staring him in his face
When he brought it out straight away you could tell it had been sitting on the bench a while even the cheese on the Parmy had solidified
Chips were cold and filthy and no cutlery not even a steak knife for the surf and turf the waiter disappeared like lightning
I asked another waiter about cutlery and he reached for another table and threw a tub of utensils at the other end of the table 3 knives and 1 fork. I ended up heading to the counter to get these items no steak knives available at the moment.
Bottom line is they really dropped the ball it may have been busy but it wasn't packed I think the level of training for hospitality has fallen off the scale

Very unhappy that the club changed Happy Hour from 6pm to 5:30pm, the worst thing is even though we we’re purchasing drinks at 5:30 pm according to our phones the club till is set at 1 minute earlier to 5:31 so we missed out on Happy Hour prices.

Very nice club. Was a pretty busy dinner service but they got the meals out in good time. Very nice food..no criticism at all.
Staff were very pleasant and bar staff efficient and friendly. A nice suburban community club.

Very disappointing meal, ordered the roast lamb rump, I’m unsure how it was cooked, it was tough and rubbery, it looked like it had been broiled, sauce was like water, all the gravies on our table were all watery and cold chips. I did tell the manager and he said he would tell the kitchen 🤷♀️

There is food for everyone including kids. There's also a place for kids to play within the club. So one can keep an eye on the kids while eating. Very busy in the evenings.

The food is very average here and the portion sizes were average. We stopped going here after a couple of visits.

The food here is disappointing. Our party had four different meals and none were good. We were here for trivia and the staff didn't take our plates all night so we ended up moving them to a vacant table. The decor is tired and the atmosphere is dreary compared to some other great clubs around Canberra. I won't come back again.

The Family like to go out for Christmas day, for Lunch, so the Canberra Southern Cross Club had some tables empty at the Club.
Our first time in Jamison's Canberra Southern Cross Club.
The Christmas lunch was great; the Staff service is fantastic, we all had great time that day.
Today we came for lunch at the Canberra Southern Cross Club, we were taken to our table.
The Staff are friendly and the service is fantastic again when we were here last time. The lunch was excellent and we will come back again.
The Club is Friendly with Families who have Children with them, and can order Children menu for them.
There is a Playground outside and inside a game room too.
Parking outside the entrance and also Disability Parking in the front entrance.

Standard club, big well kept venue. Not super exciting. Food is what you expect better beer than a lot of clubs. Snapper is excellent fish and chips to take home

Spacious, clean and comfortable chairs. Good selection of fresh beers on tap and a nice bistro with a good selection of well made and interesting meals. The lamb burger is particularly good.

Ordered a medium rare steak and Got a medium well steak and sending it back.The second one that came wondering if it even crossed the blue mark. Thanks for an amazing dinner

On Tuesday nights the Canberra Southern Cross Club Jamison has a Schnitzel Tuesday. All chicken schnitzel meals are heavily discounted for members and nonmembers.
I went for the "True Blue" chicken schnitzel, it's a standard chicken schnitzel with chips and salad plus caramelised onion, melted cheese, bacon and a fried egg. It's a huge meal and the schnitzel itself is large. I also asked for a jug of Hollandaise sauce to make this a 'Courtney'.
The only thing that could make this better would be to use thigh meat rather than breast meat. I highly recommend this meal.

OK Club. We come here for trivia. The food is ordinary at best. Dry roast, tasteless curry and staff that never clear tables.

Just would just like to thank the lovely Natasha at reception for her exceptional customer service and friendly assistance in making our visit enjoyable. We would also like to thank Michael in the cafe area for his polite service and making the nicest cup of coffee in Canberra today.

Got some fish and chips batter was quite thick and gluggy not the best, outside smoking areas don't have fans or anything so quite uncomfortable in the heat and there aircon wasn't up enough for a hot day. Not the best experience.

For the last three weeks that we have chosen to dine at the jamison club they have forgotten gravy lost our table as the person at the counter got in wrong. Now this week not only did it take 5 people to get one of the meals out to us. Nobody gave us an update on it’s whereabouts but the burger patties is burnt and probs re grilled but yet again forgot the Diane sauce for the chips. Third time there won’t be a forth we are done.

A nice little club but as a new member I’m not sure of the layout or what’s available. Heaps of outside parking. The staff I’ve met were all happy and very helpful to my unending questions. I’d love the air conditioner to be a bit cooler. The cafe is excellent with the coffee tasting like coffee and very good prices also generous serving of raisin toast. All delivered to my table with a big smile and a quick few words exchanged. Sorry guys but you impressed me so much that I’ll be back a lot more.
I did return last night. Still very impressed. I was greeted at reception with a genuine welcome then guided to my table. I order my Tuesday night special of $15 schnitzel and it was ready in 5-10 minutes. Huge serving, very tender, best chips I’ve had in a long time and salad was good with balsamic dressing the best. Drinks were great price and delivered reasonably quickly. Unfortunately I couldn’t fit dessert in but there wasn’t really much to choose from.
Your stuck with me I will be returning.

A nice dining place with kid-friendly and accessible features. Kid menu has a lot to offer. There is a good playground. The staff are generally warm and attentive. Chicken parmigiana is a must-try.

All round great place to go.The people are so nice and welcoming.They have plenty of dining room inside as well as outside with a play area for the children.So the kids are well catered for.Great atmosphere.Go try for yourself.You won't be disappointed.
