Went for dinner Friday couldn't hear yourself think, even my son said we're not coming back when live entertainment is on while you eat.

Waited a long time for food not even busy. The food was bunt and served to me. No thought from kitchen or waitress on weather anyone should have food served to them in that condition

The place was nice because we went on September 7 where the horse race was held but the food service was very bad. We ordered 2 services of Ribeye and my husband's meat was very small and his friend's was super big, same with me we ordered 2 services of fish, my mother-in-law's service was large and mine was like for a child very small service for high prices for lonque it was.

The kids centre is the best! Great ladies that helped look after the kids.
The atmosphere was great, the lady singing was wonderful.
Only issue at this place is the food… I’ve been a couple of times now and it has been disappointing EVERYtime.
The last time I went I got the rib special, it may have looked good but it was so tough I couldn’t even pull the bones apart to get the meat.
This sports club has so many great factors, I just think they need a new chef.

The food was fresh and nicely presented. The bar service the young girl was very nice and friendly but could do with more support in her service to get her up to a quick efficinet more confident service provider she would shine then. Overall a nice family atmosphere with live music playing.

Steak lunch at a great price. Kids Club kept the young one happily entertained for 2 hours.

Second time here for lunch.
The salad was fresh.
It has a staffed supervised kids play area which is clean and well organised.

Plenty of space in the dining areas. A decent selection available on the menu. Good size function room and areas for bowlers downstairs. Become a member to get discounts on food and drinks.

I had a hard time finding any photos of the kids play area but hopefully my review helps the parents out there.
The play area has a dedicated supervisor (or 2) depending on the number of kids that are in there. This is a bonus so we could somewhat enjoy our meal whilst our son played before dinner. Don't get me wrong, we were still popping in to make sure everything was all ok and didn't just palm off our parental responsibilities. The play area is situated inside the restaurant so it's air-conditioned. The venue is clean overall and floor staff were all friendly and helpful which makes your night.
Food was nice overall except I wished they didn't use chicken breast for the karaage as it was quite dry and barramundi was quite a thin slice.
Atmosphere was lovely so will definitely come back.

have been for a while, but since the renovations the place is amazing.
If i had to.give any negative comment, improve the cocktail list to keep my wife happy.

Had a chicken parmy it was disgusting... floury, ended up scraping off the crumbing and saw terrible looking chicken that was not a breast schnitzel! Chicken pressed together!!!
It had no flavour and was awful for the price!

Had a Chicken parmy at Capalaba Sports Club tonight and it was disgusting, couldnt finish it and parmy is my favourite. Didnt taste like chicken nor the texture of chicken. Had an uncooked floury powdery taste. Even got my old man to try it and he will eat anything and he turned his nose up at it after 2 bites and also said it was terrible. Didnt make a big deal about it but did mention it to one of the waitresses when she collected our plates but no apologies, feedback or communication from management. My family just moved into the area and none of us will be back.

Great place to have dinner with the family. Decent food, although have got the 400gm rump on multiple occasions and is quite short of the 400gm. I have cooked many a rump and it is not a cut that shrinks down after cooking due to it being lean.

Great meals at great prices . Always a great selection of deserts. Friendly staff who know me by name . Great family friendly place for people of all ages . Especially love Sunday lunch with live entertainment.

Gluten Free burger was the worst burger I have ever had. Yes, a gf bun is always less than impressive but when the meat patty and sauce have zero flavour and they give you the white ouece of iceberg lettuce it makes for a very very sad burger. The kids club is at capacity with about 12 kids so enjoy those meltdowns. Highly recommend the burgers at Cleveland Sands instead!!

Friendly customer service was non-existent... with the exception of Sydney I give her a 5 star rating. Chefs can't cook steak, the medium rare was cooked to medium well & the medium was cooked to well done. But again the biggest let down was the lack of customer service, even the woman on the front desk was rude as hell from the time of arrival.

Food was very tasty and came out quickly after ordered. Inconvenient not being able to place/pay drink order whilst ordering main meals Had to do separate purchase transaction after lining up a second time.
Grandkids enjoyed kids play area.

Five stars today. We had a function in the restaurant for forty people and it was seamless. Special thanks to Tilly and her team who made sure all meals were delivered to the eight guest in good time. Highly recommended.

Called up and made a booking but they didn't have our booking only got a table because a group did not show up. Food came out at all diffrent times people had finished there food before others had got there's.

A good honest bowls club. Amazing bowling greens. Food came quickly and was generous in quantity. Drink prices were very reasonable.

Absolutely love this place. We tried the Thursday steak special under $20 then came back and tried the Wednesday schnitzel/ parmi night. Awesome view of the greens and the food was amazing. Recommend giving this place a go, worth it!
