Carina Leagues Club

We are regulars to the restaurant and cafe. Never disappointed at the cafe and tonight with the new restaurant menu OMG is all I can say, you must try the 1/2 rack of ribs these were to die for!! Great work Carina Leagues Club keep up the great work!

Was lovely, immaculate service, food, drinks and atmosphere. Prices were very fair for the quality of service, food/portions and taste. This place was highly recommended to me and I strongly recommend it to anyone considering giving it a go. place was packed on a Tuesday night from 6pm but we didn't wait to order or receive anything, everything came so efficiently, the staff seemed to function like a flawless team even while slammed. I forgot to take photos of the entries but everything was better than it looked and it all looked so good. Those ribs were perfection in every bite

Very large venue. Lots of off street parking. Very clean venue. Massive pokie room. Friendly staff and patrons. Worker friendly during the day.. no ID checks or dress code.. well it's more relaxed. ID required later on the day. And work clothes need to reasonable clean during day. Decent prices on food and drinks. Worth a look.

The service was great, and the food was awesome. Tables could have used a wipe down and dishes/glasses we everywhere. I don't like the vibe. It feels very clostraphobic at the moment.

The food is consistently average. Sometimes barely edible. I want to support the Club because I am a member but the food just isn't good. The vegetable gnocchi recently was not edible. Gluggy, salty, creamy mess that surely came from a packet? The burger last month was a pre-formed unpleasant attempt at food. You can do all the renovations you want (in the restaurant) but if the food remains to the same standard, you will continue to have this reputation. Took over an hour to get our meal. The Hive Cafe is lovely for a coffee and cake. Most staff are AMAZING!

The Carina leagues club is the best of this type of venue in the eastern suburbs of Brisbane. The staff are friendly and not in short supply. The food here is consistently good and reasonably priced. A wide variety of gaming machines if that's your cup of tea and also a large sports bar. The cafe at the front of the building is more like a suburban cafe than something you'd expect to find at a leagues club type of venue.

The best value breakfast is at The Hive and even more savings if you’re a member. Great staff and delicious breakfast options. Can’t go past the Hive big breakfast! You can even buy local honey made onsite by the wonderful bees.

Such an amazing little gem, food & service is always wonderful. The coffee is perfect too. Great prices as well!

Really disappointed, staff unhelpful, refusing to clean a table and then arguing that it was already clean when there were dirty cups on it. It really didn’t have to be the issue that they turned it into. Wouldn’t bother spending any money there ever again. We didn’t end up eating, the rudeness of the staff was too much so we just left.

Our group of 6 for lunch could not have been looked after better today. Staff and attention were first class. Such personal and sincere service. Then the food.....absolutely fresh, delicious and highest quality. Well ✔️ done Carina Leagues Club. Whoever looked after our table needs to give yourselves a warm pat on the back 👏 Thank you sincerely.

Nice place. Unfortunately didn’t get the best service from the staff at the play land area when trying to book my kids in. For some reason my membership couldn’t be found (didn’t have my card on me) and it felt like nothing could be done to help the us out. Pretty disappointing as kids had friends already booked in. I would have given them a rating of 5 except they are currently doing some renovations and some areas aren't accessible . The staff are amazing. They are so friendly and helpful.

It was such a great moment for dinner! Especially, Mr. Jorge was really awesome!! He is super kind and caring of us and above all he knew what we needed and wanted to do. We definitely come again!! Thank you, Jorge🙏🏻

It was my daughter’s 18 birthday celebration dinner and the service was outstanding, such an amazing experience so thank you to all staff, every single staff member went above and beyond with a smile, I was blown away and considering it was a sat night and during renovations. I spoke with Pandora the other week and she went above and beyond to help me. I called to make a last minute booking and they didn't have space until a later time but she was a great communicator and assisted in finding me a similar pub that suited my family's needs. Really appreciate her efforts, she deserves a pay rise! Thanks again :)

I eat lunch regularly at Carina Leagues with friends and while we enjoy the atmosphere and opportunity to enjoy the beautiful gardens, we only have one complaint and that is with meal service. Four of us are eating and it can take 15 minutes between the presentation of the first and last meal, meaning that the first meals are usually cold by the time the last meal is served. It is customary for all meals associated with the same table to be served at the same time. There is only one staff member taking meal orders from the TAB and that is Jay, who asks the right questions and supervises the timing of table service by asking the kitchen staff to make sure the meals are served together. She is very professional and I am well aware that she has experience in other hospitality venues where this practice is customary. I have made complaints to Jay on a number of occasions about this frustrating exercise and she claims to have spoken to the wait staff but it seems to fall on deaf ears unless she is on duty. Perhaps a word from higher up would help. Otherwise a pleasant experience with friendly staff.

Held a 1st birthday here on the weekend. Everything from the food to the service was on point, going above and beyond to ensure our function ran smoothly. We received alot of compliments on the food and the venue and function space from those that attended. The kids had a ball in Lucky's playland and the outdoor games area. We will definitely be back.

Had a great nite! But a word of advice on meals Ordered the 500gram rump and requested Medium -/Well Done - steak came to the table Well Done only - no pink colour - still very nice, very tasty and easy to cut. Suggest you order steak Medium unless you like Well Done. The Garden Green Salad looked great but it had a dressing so I couldn't eat it (not mentioned on menu or by waitress salad had dressing ) could I suggest it be added to menu that there is dressing or have the person taking the order mention it. Having said all of that, staff were great and club was very enjoyable. I highly recommend Carina Leagues Club

Great value food menu. 4 of us had a lovely lunch presented well, hot and delicious. Lots of pokies machines to choose from. Venue was well lit and clean.

Great place to meet family and friends for a really good lunch. Beer at bar prices and great value. And membership is great value too at $2.00 for 5 years .

Food was not very good. Roast pork dinner looked like left over lunch. Spoke to staff and got no offer of replacement so had to eat. Emailed club who contacted us and offered $40 voucher which we accepted and went for diner. Food was much better on a busy Saturday night. Club knew we had booked and a staff member asked us how food was but didn't ask anyone else.

First visit for about 20 years and the woman on the front desk asked if I'd like to become a member - I joined them and there. 3 of us old blokes met for coffee and eats - service was fantastic, food very good and drinks excellent. Fantastic touch was the next day when Rob from the club called me to welcome me, ask if I enjoyed my visit and ask if I had any questions about the club. First time this has happened to me and I'm most impressed - I'll be a regular. Thanks Carina Leagues.

During our recent evening dining experience, we had the pleasure of being served by Megan, a highly professional waitress at this establishment. Megan's enthusiasm, professionalism, and kindness truly elevated our dining experience, making it a memorable and enjoyable occasion. We were thoroughly impressed by the exceptional level of service provided by the staff at this club.

Customer service starts at the front door, and I was blown away at how thoughtful and helpful the security person Calan was. He helped me with elderly mum and parking. Without me asking he even sent a buggy to get me from the car park so I could get back quickly to help mum. Many thanks Calan 🙏 I genuinely hope the board members see this review.

Christmas day was amazing at Carina Leagues Club. We got treated like royalty. It was Buffet seafood roasts, salads, desserts,coffee,tea, Santa was their adding a special touch. Also a little gift on our table of little Christmas goodies..🎅🌲🎉

Carina Leagues Club is located at 1390 Creek Rd, Carina. The club is only a short walk to where the Carina Junior Rugby League teams play their games. Carina Leagues Club is a family-friendly community based establishment with child caring amenities to keep them safe & active under supervision by qualified staff 👍 There is an excellent "drop-off & pick-up" point at the front entrance to this club. There are ramped areas for people with disabilities & the door entry opens automatically. Carina Leagues Club has adequate undercover & open air parking, which is situated in & around the club. This fine establishment has an excellent sporting bar which offers a fantastic range of live sports. The bar has a wonderful range of craft beers & other beers on tap, a wide variety of 🍷 & spirits 😋 Adjacent to the sporting bar is the cafe shop where you can relax & enjoy a great coffee ☕, tea or a hot snack or cake 🎂 🥮 Also located as you move around the club is an excellent restaurant where you can relax & enjoy a meal from their menu. All dietary requirements are catered for everyone's needs. You can either order your meal from the table by using the club website or go & line up. All meals are brought to your table by the clubs friendly staff. There is another bar located nearby which also serves a large range of craft beers & fine wines 🍷 The clubs TAB area is located at this point of the club. Live entertainment is regularly available at the Carina Leagues Club. Check out the clubs website for more details 👌 There is a gaming area which caters to a wide variety of poker machines, you can relax & order your drinks while you play. A smoking room is located near the gaming area. Brisbane City Council Bus services run regularly along Creek Rd. Carina Leagues Club is one of the best Community based clubs on the south side of Brisbane & the wonderful staff are only too happy to assist you with making your visit enjoyable & relaxing time. NOTE: On my visit today, the 14th of June 2024, Carina Leagues Club is undergoing a major renovation. Please be aware that space is limited during this major upgrade. 🙏

As far as clubs go, this place is a masterclass in good marketing and service. From the moment you park your car and a golf buggy is cruising around the lot to take you to the entrance to the friendly greetings at the door, they know what they are doing. Food at the cafe is good, with great prices and swift service. I love the sparkling mineral water on tap for patrons. If you decide to play the pokies, free soft drinks and good coffee is on tap. During the afternoon, they bring around complimentary snacks including ice cream tubs. Obviously, all of this is designed to keep you playing, but hey, they don't do this at many other venues. And who knows, you may walk away with a win. All in all, this is a great place to visit.
