We were there on Saturday afternoon for lunch and as my husband was manoeuvring the chairs around to make a space for a high chair for my 1 year old son, a staff came from his behind unknowingly. The staff / waitress was holding pizza about to serve to the table next to us. My husband obviously didn't see her, and it the pub was quite crowded. As my husband pulled a chair out, the waitress went ' OH MY GOD ' and rolled her eyes on us. Some of the people from the table next to us saw it and the staff member also indicated this 'inconvenience' to them.
Shockingly unprofessional & please do let us know if you are not happy to cater families with young ones so we can try other places.
Food was overall dry, my husband had the chicken parmigiana which was about $35. I had the kids' steak and it was overcooked. The arancini balls were great, just needs more sauce.
Pub food is pub food so that's acceptable. Making customers feel as though they were an inconvenience whilst you're about to serve to other customers is unprofessional. Otherwise, all the other staff who helped us yesterday were professional and lovely!

We planned a family dinner and booked a table ahead of time for a Friday night. All the staff were amazing, approachable and provided great service when giving advice and recommendations. We ordered the special that day, the Carindale Parmigiana and two other mains which were equally fantastic quality as the service. We plan to come back again soon, without a doubt.

We had a wonderful experience at Carindale Hotel. On a busy Thursday late night shopping, our meals came out very quickly, at the same time, and we couldn’t fault any of the meals. The staff were also so lovely. We particularly enjoyed the 300g rib fillet which was cooked to perfection (rare). We will be back!

We had a large group (20 people) and the online booking system was too easy. Staff were so great throughout our evening - so friendly and accommodating. Food and service was great.

We celebrated my mum's birthday at the Carindale hotel and had a really great evening. Our booking was for 14 people and I had indicated that it was for a birthday so the staff had arranged a bunch of helium balloons for the table which was a lovely thought. Menu is diverse and caters to all dietary requirements, including a kid's menu. We ordered the calamari for entree which unfortunately came out cold and wasn't enjoyable. Our main dishes were much better, my partner ordered the chicken parmy which was huge and delicious. I had the pumpkin salad which was yummy and the kids loved their meals from the kid's menu. Drinks and meals were delivered within a reasonable timeframe. Staff were polite and really helpful with the cake and plates and cutlery. Overall I would recommend this restaurant for a casual family dinner.

We came for dinner tonight, ordering mushroom arancini, chicken parmigiana and the carbonara with added chicken.
The mushroom arancini was great, cannot fault it.
The parmigiana was a bit like cardboard and it had zero taste.
The carbonara was disgusting. The sauce was more like soup and the chicken had a fishy taste to it and I could not eat the meal.
Very disappoiting as my husband and I were looking forward to a night of not cooking and spent nearly $100 on these meals. Had we not had a tired toddler with us, we would have taken the meals back and gone elsewhere for dinner.
5 stars for the service staff as they were very professional.

This was the first place I had a drink with my partner years ago any every time we come to the mall we have a drink to reminisce. We no longer will be coming back after the staff asked me to buy them shots and then said you can buy them for after our shift and then didn’t mention the happy hour when I bought one of the few beers off happy hour. Could have done better.

This venue managed a booking for 20 people with one day's notice. They went above and beyond to accommodate our large group, including special touches for the birthday girl. The food was excellent with lots of choice on the menu and a great kids menu. For rainy nights like today, the location is perfect as we had plenty of undercover parking and an easy walk to the restaurant. A special thanks to Riza for her pleasant and professional style, making sure we were well looked after throughout the evening.

The service could be better. My son and I came in for lunch yesterday. The lady (manager) of the bistro seemed unhappy but friendly. The food wasn't that nice for the price I feel could have been better.

The food is great, the service fantastic. We have taken out granddaughter there and she always enjoys the food.. (and the kids colour book) . Reasonable priced food and great atmosphere.

So much good food, and such a nice place to eat it!
My Grandma who's gluten free was so happy to have so many really good options for both dinner and dessert.
Would really recommend the pumpkin pizza, trivia nights on Tuesdays and DnD games on Mondays!!

Riza is by far the best staff member Carindale Hotel have. Despite recent change in Management, she has been there for years - great service, super welcoming and always makes us laugh. Always a decent feed and great when celebrating special occasions.

Portion sizes were perfect. Pricing was amazing and not too expensive. Chips were perfectly crisp and had great seasoning. All the workers were so polite.

Nice meals had by three of us. Two steak and a chicken.schnitzel. Tasty, generous and tender. Bit pricey but seems to be the way of most pubs now. Steaks around the $40 mark.
Busy, good ambience, pleasant staff. Recommended.

Just wanted to say a huge thank you to all the staff that helped my daughter last Sunday night 14th April.
She had an Epileptic seizure at dinner and the staff, think was Makenzie on the phone with 000 while other staff helped to make her safe, it Was near closing time and not the night you were expecting.
We were up visiting from Sydney.

I’ve worked in this shopping centre for years and the location suits my girlfriends and I because it’s central for us, however the food and the service gets worse and worse every time we go. Young inexperienced staff seem to have little common sense, the only thing that goes up each time are the prices. Couldn’t even eat my meal so it’s a never again for me

I’ve never ordered chicken schnitzel at a pub before. Had dinner with here with my husband just in time for happy hour. Very affordable considering everything.
Schnitzel was awesome. I opted to not have fries so I ended up getting double salad. WINNING!!! So good. I’m converted!
Nick the manager took our plates away and was super nice !!

Hard to access , park across road and small walk. Friendly staff and patrons. Complimentary soft drinks for those playing pokies. Clean spacious area. Decent dining and bar area. Outdoor seating to view foot traffic from shopping centre.

Great place and great food for the place and type of dining. The service was top notch. I guarantee you will not get offended or hurt by this staff.

Great lunch today in the Bistto. Service was great - smiling friendly staff - and the food was fantastic. Highly recommend the chicken satay bowl. Absolutely delicious and full of flavour. I would eat that again tomorrow!. My friends steak sandwich looked amazing and he confirmed how delish it was, wolfing it down without even stopping for wine. Classy place and fab food. Thank you!

got a amazing vegan pizza, custom made by the chef and recommended by Michaela the on shift manager, great vibe and very helpful to any querie
If your vegan just ask the staff and can rustle you something lovely up

Good food but very expensive. We had lunch and there were no seniors meals or daily or lunch specials. $29 for a steak sandwich is a bit steep even in these times.

Food is amazing, I could taste every individual flavour. 10/10 will be returning. Customer service is amazing and the staff have amazing attitudes towards their work. Can't wait for Dungeons and Dragons.

Excellent service at carindale Hotel.
Food is great... generous portions.
Nicholas is excellent at his job and ensures a good experience there.... calamari entree is a must ‼️

Attended for the mothers day brunch and was very disappointed. We were squeezed into a table too small for our group, bear in mind this was all pre-booked. The solution was to give us am additional table sitting separately at an event which was to celebrate something. They did offer us a round of complementary drinks for this inconvenience.
The food was slow (over an Hr wait) and bought out across a 30 minute window, so people had finished or eating their deserts before the last main meal was bought out. When the food was bought it was cold as if it was sitting there for a while before being bought out.
This was all for their mothers day brunch so they knew how many people were coming. Very poor planning. The assistant manager was fantastic and staff worked hard to accommodate the large numbers.

A lovely atmosphere at the Carindale hotel, drinks at the bar to start were on point. We were led to our table and ordered with the tap thing on table. (not sure what it's called)
Drinks arrived without lime, they brought some over in a glass and one wedge was all brown around the edges. The same with my salad, there was iceberg under my greens which had lots of brown bits, it looked old and to mix it with the salad greens gave me the impression they were trying to use it up and hide it.
Steak was lovely!
Our glasses and garlic bread basket were removed while we were eating and nobody asked at any time during our visit how our meal was. Do they even ask anymore???
I'm not sure if I'll go back, I dont like old food!

After being disappointed with my meal the first time I decided to give these guys another try. But sadly we left annoyed, Ive been craving a steak all week, now this is the second time I got a steak and it was over done ( I ordered medium rare rib fillet and my partner got an eye fillet they were both sent out well done. If we weren’t so hungry we would have taken them back. I think the chefs need to take more care in making sure the steaks are cooked correctly as it cost us 100$ for two meals. And not the first time I’m sure for many.
