What a great little find. Offering ‘Seniors Discounts’. The Lamb Roast was perfect for lunch- including Mont sauce ‘ crunchy broccoli & beans ( perfectly cooked). Potatoes could have been ‘crunchier’ outer coating for a roasted flavour. The entree- ‘Bang Bang Cauliflower’ was great- but needs a slightly different ‘batter’ to add more flavour. The Vegetarian Pasta- could have done with much greater flavour also- perhaps include Pumpkin , Pine Nuts, and spinach? The Pasts was just too bland & really felt like I was eating passata tomatoes with cooked penne. Service & staff are amazing! I look forward to coming back again soon.

We went to a family wedding bar and food service was excellent as was band and venue. I noticed a restaurant downstairs bar and other usual hotel facilities and outdoors with a carparking and street parking as is beach foreshore close by. As it's location is in a shopping area lots to do in the area with Edithvale, Chelsea Carrum to Seaford Wetlands walking cycling trails 👣

We ordered the Sri Lankan chicken curry and it was delicious, not spicy hot, but full of flavour. Chicken Parma was plump and tender, basic sauce topping and the calamari was perfect, fleshy and soft

We have always enjoyed this venue. Staff are pleasant, and food has always been ok.
They usually offer several vegetarian options, which many places seem to neglect.
Seniors enjoy a 20% discount on mains from the regular menu. They also have a kids menu as well as a seniors menu.
There is a free car park behind the hotel.

We came here with the family for Mother’s Day, it’s always a great place for kids my niece & nephew love the indoor playground. I had the mushroom pizza which was delicious. Have been here many times always prompt service & delicious food would highly recommend.

Was with a group of eight. All food arrived at close to same time which was great. Staff very friendly. Some food was just warm not hot but still within acceptable range. Overall, a good meal out.

Very disappointed with the order!!! Scotch fillet is low-budget, overcooked, served with yesterday's baked potatoes, pepper sauce made a few days ago or is industrially ready-made that has neither smell nor taste, not even close to culinary cream sauce!!! The second course Salmon was also very bad. All in all, I do not recommend this place.

Thus hotel never disappoints. The menu selection is wide, the food is delicious, the staff are friendly and efficient, the kids play area is wonderful, there's plenty of parking ... and the list goes on! Do yourself a favour and head to Castello's Longbeach Hotel for a wonderful time, day or night!

The dozen times we've been here the food ranged from okay to outstanding. The pizza, Barramundi fillet, all outstanding the first time.
Subsequent times, the pizza has been quite ordinary compared with that very first time we tried a pizza when it was incredible, and the Barramundi fillet has halved in size over time. Quite disappointing. They may be trying to cut costs with supplies and now hiring cheaper chefs?
It's rare to find roast vegetables with the layered oil treatment on them. These are still good.
The very first time: the crumbed Barramundi was divine. The very first time: the medium thickness crust pizza (pictured), the Truffle Melanzane, was so well conceived and made it was heaven to eat. Thank you chefs. The Napoli sauce they use for the pasta's was also excellent.
Most staff are very friendly. Located close to the beach. Top level Ambience and room design. The well regulated cooling provides a welcome break from the heat outside.

Second time here. Meals and Service exceptional.
The Barramundi and Calamari are our favourite. Well presented, Fresh and well priced. Good relaxed atmosphere and accommodating staff.
Will definitely make this our regular.

Returned for dinner after a long hiatus. I had the curry of the week which was Lankan chicken curry. It was tasty & it had a good level of spice also which I enjoyed. The menu has improved so will return to try other menu items. Service friendly.

Pub-style fare in a welcoming atmosphere. The menu boasts classic favorites done right, from burgers to fish and chips. What truly sets Castello's apart, though, is the exceptional service. Each visit is greeted with a warm smile and prompt attention, making every dining experience a delight.

Ordered a Chicken Parama for Sunday lunch, salad had no dressing, chicken was as dry as a dead dingos donger and the doughey chips had 2 grains of salt on them. Service rated low only as there is no table service. Not worth 30 bucks.

Open plan seating inside which means it can get a bit noisy at times. Service was efficient and wait staff pleasant to deal with. The Honey Pumpkin Risotto was overpowering with the amount of garlic in it, but the steak was really good, tender and cooked well.

My wife & I took our son & daughter in law & their 2 small children. Everyone’s meal was good & service & atmosphere was excellent.
Would visit again for a reasonable family night out meal.

Made a last minute booking on Mothers Day for lunch, wasn't expecting to get in and was told nothing available but Peter ended up calling me back to say he had a spot for us which was so good of him to do so! 2 very happy mums! Great food, great service and friendly staff. Couldn't ask for more!! Definitely coming back.

I had a great steak and some amazing nasi goring. Service was amazing and the food came out very fast. Super professional and friendly. Definitely worth the visit!

Had a meal on Friday with another 23 or so ladies..ordered seniors barramundi 20.28 (.28surcharge) so small could hardly see on the plate…ordered a bowl of chips to share as a few of us were still hungry 9.12 (.12 surgharge) and a aperol spritz 16.21 (.21surchareg). All up and extra .61 cent for a very ordinary meal..

Served cold / warm except for the steak so
Obviously they had them all ready but were waiting on the steak. Unfortunately the roast lamb and vegetables were cold. The gravy too. We were tempted to send them back. We ate them but didnt enjoy them. Such s shame as we were really looking forward to a nice meal.

Friendly and helpful staff, the food was uniformly good with good portion sizes and senior's discounts. Gets noisy in the dining area, to be expected but something to be aware of. A good night.

Food was absolutely horrible, mite as well have been warmed in the microwave. The risotto especially had no taste and was just thrown in with cheese to give it some appeal. Will never go here for a meal again. Staff were not interested and definitely inexperienced. Called to see if we could get a spot was told that we were only able to get a place at 7 as there we’re completely booked out, yet we were told that it wasn’t a problem when we actually went to the place at 5.30 as was originally planned. Do not go here for a meal, you will be severely disappointed, honestly don’t think I’ve had a worse meal anywhere

Family lunch, great bistro.
Some had seniors meals and rest happy except Caesar salad a tad ordinary.
Rest of meals great, especially risotto and chicken scallopini
Mum happy with roast of day..
Lovely atmosphere and extremely comfy seats.

Birthday celebrations with a seeing eye dog in our party guests. Enjoyed our visit, food was lovely & great service until an over zealous female staff member came to the opposite side of the table demanding to see paperwork to prove authenticity of seeing eye dog. This could have been handled in a far less offensive way. Paperwork was supplied, immediately and apologies made but the incident marred an otherwise pleasant evening. It was the way in which this was handled that upset our party, instead of approaching the owner of the dog calmly & quietly, this person stood on the opposite side of the table demanding to see paperwork in front of EVERYONE!! She was aggressive in her manor and turned a simple situation into an ordeal for the 85yo blind lady. Had the woman come to the side of the owner with a calm attitude and quietly requested verification then none of this would have happened. We all felt that this person was ready for a fight! We will NOT return to this restaurant & will NOT recommend it to anyone.

Been for dinner a couple of times now.
Can recommend, and will definitely be going back. Good service, tasty food, plus, the general vibe & decor is very pleasing.

A simply amazing place to sit and have a giggle and a chat - the staff is absolutely amazing
For example I arrived on an e-bike with a helmet - completely saturated from the rain - (I mention the helmet as you can imagine how my head looks)
And the two of us where welcomed warmly by staff members - and guests alike !!
The food was divine !! So good in fact I failed to take a photo … HEY IT WAS COLD - and the food was hot and beyond amazing
*sigh* if only all hotels would follow suit - I could eat and drink in public venues ALOT more
Who ever the meeter and greeter was for the bistro was also spectacular - juggling a hippy, the elderly, numerous complaints not having water (and giving those ladies a massive grin) - the elderly - kids - the elderly - grumpy mothers - (did I mention the elderly) and bounced through every experience - again simply amazing staff
