Zero table service. Our table wasn't even clean when we turned up for our reservation. Had to wait and was placed on a wet table. Staff never returned. Forced to order using QR codes. Food took nearly an hour. Rib eye steak was terrible, chewy. Cooked by an amateur. Inedible and left on the table. Would have given feedback to staff but they never came back. Don't ever eat here.

We were stuck in a corner, My partner was basically back v a wall and we were right next to a dirty floor to ceiling window. The find was really good but the service and atmosphere was substandard.

We had wonderful time at beautiful bistro. Friendly staff and high quality of food. I’ve impressed about open kitchen that very clean. I will definitely recommend this place to my friends😎 special thanks to chef Zed👍🏼👍🏼

We had fond memories of the Centenary Tavern from years ago and decided to give it a go now that we live in the Western Suburbs again.
Garden and surrounds were absolutely hoarded with junk incl. milk crates and pallets. Wheelchair accessible car parks were only visible to us near the entrance at the gaming side, however signage indicated to use the other car park for the bistro - where there was no accessible parks. They seem to not exist for bistro patrons.
In terms of the only accessible park available - if I had driven straight in I wouldn't have been able to get my husband out of the car due to pallets of kegs being placed directly next to the park - but if reversing in, there wasn't enough room for me to get his wheelchair our of the boot - also hoarded with pallets. We decided to leave and go elsewhere. Totally disrespectful use of the space.

Too much garlic in the aoli, Pretty good, there was a possum in the rafters of the outdoor area. Great Chicken and Steak, they didn't forget my Grandmother's order like some other pubs. I love to get the prawns on top of the steak in order for it to be a serf and terf, the garlic sauce and mushroom gravy really add to the experience. Also I once got a jug of beer here for 12 dollars so the pricing of drinks is decent, but kinda expensive otherwise. Oh well...

The staff were very friendly and eager to help with all our needs. The food was delicious and the serving sizes sufficient. My Thai stir fry beef and crispy noodles, although very tasty, had a bed of lettuce that I thought was a bit too much.

Sunday lunch today was amazing. They have certainly improved since last visit and left today full to the brim. It does get busy but hey what pub on a sunday doesn't? The kingfish over green curry and rice was bloody tops. Very impressed and will be back.

Pie looked great but was really bland, chicken burger was ok, chips were nice. Ladies who took order and brought food were lovely.

Lunch today at this great tavern. The place was very quiet. Staff were very helpful with our small group of seniors. Plenty of selection on the seniors menu.. everyone very happy with their choices. Didn't have to wait to long until the meals arrived. They were presented well and served hot 🔥. Well done.. we'll be back.

I was able to enjoy the great meal. The quality of the food was so good. I want to come again next time. The draft beer was also really good.

I had the pleasure of enjoying a fantastic steak lunch at Centenary Tavern today, and I couldn't be more impressed. From start to finish, my dining experience was nothing short of exceptional.
First off, the service was top-notch. Our server was friendly, attentive, and went out of their way to ensure that our meal was perfect. The menu offered a great variety of options, but I decided to go with the steak, and boy am I glad I did.
The steak was cooked to perfection - juicy, flavourful, and tender. It was served with a generous helping of sides, including crispy fries and a fresh garden salad. Every bite was a delight, and I found myself savouring every last bite.
Overall, I would highly recommend Centenary Tavern to anyone looking for a delicious steak lunch. The food, service, and ambiance were all top-notch, and I can't wait to come back and try more of their menu. Thanks for an unforgettable meal!

I am writing on behalf of my elderly mothers (91 years old) experience (today Wed 27th March 2024).
She was on a field trip with an aged care organization and they stopped in for lunch.
She advised me that she asked for a kids meal and was at first declined. She stated to the server that she only wanted a small portion of food and was ultimately allowed to order this and was charge $12 total. However she did not get what the kids meal included. This being a drink and a small desert included for $12.
As she has very poor vision she didnt realise there was a seniors menu option available and the server did not bother to advise her of this.
Had she known she would have ordered this option.
It would appear that some of the staff at Centenary Tavern are not fully trained to assist with variations of customer requirements when required.
It might sound petty to complain but basically an almost blind 91 year old pensioner has been short changed due to the server being upset that my mum didnt want to order a full sized meal.
The server was not friendly in her attitude when dealing with my mother.
Very poor service in my opinion.

I am very disappointed about the drink I ordered.seems like I ordered a whole cup of ice and a few sips of alcohol. As seen in the photo, I got a whole cup of ice and a few drops of alcohol.such a waste of money to spend on their alcoholic drinks.

Had a private function on Saturday and very disappointed with how the night assistant manager ( latisha) handled the situation and concerns.
Very unprofessional, very aggressive and not acceptable.
We had many functions at other taverns and always a wonderful experience, but for sure we will never have another party there.
She made such a scene and left everyone feeling very uncomfortable.

Great service. Very friendly and helpful.
We were looking forward to a juicy chicken schnitzel with salad, chips and gravy. Instead got thin processed cardboard chicken, 10 chips, a morsel of a salad and water-like tasteless gravy. Will go again so fingers crossed the next meal is better!

Great pub food. Came out so fast. Our whole table of 12 were happy. Kids playground is fine.
Looking forward to going back once the Reno's are done.

Great local to come and have a feed. Food is really nice but leans more towards a pub feed so don't come here expecting fine dining. We love to enjoy a beer as the kids play on the playground. Really Handy :) This place needs to extend off the kids area, and build a deck with the view they have. With the deck could have live music every week and attract a lot more customers 😁 had the spicy chicken 🐔 wings today, they were absolutely divine and the blue cheese dip outstanding 😋 dined here again tonight. Thw wings and calamari entree are among the best we have had. Absolutely spectacular

Great food but was put off by the supervisor. We had come 30 minutes late because of traffic and couldn’t phone ahead because phone died. Tavern had heaps of tables to spare but supervisor in the red shirt bumped us off our reservation and gave us a tiny table for 4 to share with 7 of us, claiming there was no room and we should have called ahead. I took photos of the “no room”. There were multiple spare tables inside and outside. I could see she felt like a power trip to do that to us. Unfortunately for her she ruined what is actually a decent restaurant and staff.

Food is pretty standard, drinks are too.
It was a struggle to get water for the table because there's no staff that aren't run ragged.

Fairly standard pub food. Except it came out luke warm , In fact one dish had to be sent back.
I got carbonara which comes vegetarian however I added bacon and chicken.
Someone on my table got the butter chicken which surprisingly smelt amazing - I don’t usually go for that when eating curry ( too mild )
However they remarked it had a fair bit amount of heat which they enjoyed.
Brisket pie had a good making of meat and flavour , pastry was a little hard.
The portion sizes are generous and appropriately priced.
The service was stretched a bit thin being Mother’s Day.
I’d go back and try something else having said that I won’t rush.

Celebrated my Dad’s 90th/family reunion on Saturday. The refurbished room suited all our guests. Sammy and Letitia (I hope that’s correct!) were helpful beyond words. John, in our room, was amazing. So grateful for your seamless service guys - we’ll be back!

Came for a special mothers day lunch. Ordered Chicken Parmigianas, the cheese wasn't grilled, schnitzels were soggy, the veggies on one order was frozen cold. Highly disappointing, staff tried to take plates without even asking us if we were finished. We were placed in a mouldy function room, where there was major water damage on walls and ceiling. Seated on a cheap trestle table, for a party of 5. Time 12pm and no high chairs were available. Plenty of vacant tables in normal seating area.

Attended a birthday bash for my friend's child. The woman named Latisha exhibited an appalling level of rudeness and disrespect, despite the considerable amount my friend splurged on this venue. Our party was utterly marred by her behavior. I've never encountered such flagrant rudeness in all my time here in Australia. It was beyond belief. I'm genuinely questioning why anyone would even contemplate booking this place for an event.

attended a 1st birthday party on Saturday, the assistant manager ,I think her name was Latisha, was extremely rude and unprofessional. she was complaining about the music all the time , she told us you can leave or there will be no music and when we asked her whats going on , she told us the music has to be with a certain level. we explained to her that no one told us about the music when we hired the function room. she said everything has been printed out and is on the front counter ,It's your responsibility to read it. we told her it's the management responsibility to tell every single role and regulation prior to booking. she made everyone feel uncomfortable. not recommend this place for any function 👎👎

All in all not a horrible experience. The recent renovations are simple but effective. It has reduced the size of the restaurant though. Most of the wait staff were great. The staff at the counter were a tad under trained in the POS system, which made ordering take longer than necessary. The food we received tasted good and came in a good time frame. Some of the orders were a tad off, but I think this was due to the way it was input when placing the order. Ordering hallumi to be put on a burger and then a side of onion rings only to have the burger arrive with no hallumi in it and then realising it was in the same bowl as the onion rings instead. My steak, I know most will curse me for it, I ordered medium-well. It arrived and was closer to medium rare than medium well. My sons medium steak was more cooked than my steak was. Other than these two issues, the foods given were ok. Simple flavours. Nothing amazingly special but a good feed none the less.
