We went to the Charles for lunch. We had a Great experience. The food was Great. The Staff were wonderful. Nothing was too much trouble for them. I would highly recommend it to anyone wanting a Great Lunch Venue.

We used as a base for a weekend visit to Wollongong. Clean room, helpful staff ( especially the Housekeeper).Complimentary drinks token to use at the bar and use of the microwave in the staff room. Renovations being done on the Main street entrance and so on the last day, at around 07.00 alot of banging and a workman was just outside our window,luckily we weren't starkers !!!!!!!!.

We recently stayed for 2 night for a wedding.The room was spotless and comfortable. The housekeepers are amazing.A special shout out to Sandy,what an absolute legend,so friendly and professional. Perfect location also.

We really enjoyed our stay here especially the food. We had smoked buffalo chicken wings and slow cooked pulled pork which has all the flavour you wanted inside your mouth. They also gave us complimentary drinks upon check in. The staff are lovely and the hotel room is quiet which I don't have trouble sleeping.

Went in for a couple beers and dinner, got the chicken schnitzel with salad and chips. It was very good actually, from the salad to the chicken everything paired perfectly, would definitely go again!

We had a Hamburger and Chips, I really enjoyed the Hamburger which had onion, beetroot cheese and lettuce with a large meat patty. The chips were golden and crispy due to good clean oil. Sauce e was served on thesside in a small dish. Would definitely recommend this meal

The customer service is amazing, the rooms are immaculate. The best hotel I have stayed at in a very very long time. Definitely a place to to stay or to have lunch. Amazing, friendly atmosphere

Right on the highway in Fairy Meadow, this place has undergone some renovations, but could possibly do with some more.
Food was very decent pub grub and reasonably priced. Good selection of beers and very friendly and helpful staff.
Wednesday trivia comp is a good bit of fun.
It's not the best pub in the region, but it is far from the worst

Reasonable quality stay. Day staff were great, bar staff at night no so. Meals were tasty. Some of the power points in the room were faulty and the mattress was so soft it felt broken.

Only giving it 3 stars coz I was only there for a couple of hours catching up with friends and we didn't eat or stay long. But the bar service was great, very fast and very friendly. I hope to go back again 1 day soon 🙂

Lovely pub. The staff are so friendly and the patrons were a great bunch as well. The accommodation was very nice, comfortable large room and big bathroom area and shower. Will definitely be back.

Located centrally we found it easy reach anywhere we wanted to go, room was neat and tidy. They had a full bistro and bar downstairs where we also got our dinner and drinks. I’m guessing it was manager you served us and he was helpful and welcoming. Will be back again.

Inexpensive and comfortable room. Refurbished room and bathroom with hot shower (last time was cold).

I had a great experience there...clean rooms..great counter lunches...was so easy...walk downstairs..older the food a drink then enjoy..so good...plenty of parking..courteous staff.

Horrible place, full of alcholics and looser. I dont recommend wasting your time or money at this establishment

Great place to drinks,food and stay the night. This place has a nice outdoor area for those sunnie days which is good to sit back an watch the football on their big TV screens

Great indoors option (especially on rainy or super hot days) for UFC and sporting main events. Lots of big indoor screens. Great value too - $8 pints and $20 mains. And pool tables + darts boards!!

Good value for money accommodation close to amenities while on holiday.
The room was clean and the bathroom was huge. Comfortable stay and would recommend to others.
Only feedback is that the carpark needs to be improved / repaired with stronger night lighting to increase security

Amazing service. Sandy was very helpful and friendly during our whole stay. Meals were fantastic too and affordable! Would highly recommend and stay again!
