We were served by Daniel and it was a wonderful experience. He recommended the rib fillet for myself and it was cooked perfectly. He was warm and friendly and made our experience very comfortable. Will be back.

We ordered the King Avocado Schnitzel and the Salmon. After 20 minutes staff apologised for the delay and offered us free deserts. Meals came five minutes later anyway and we thoroughly enjoyed the chocolate mudcake and the lemon cheesecake.
Is it yummy and staff is great.
We will be back very soon.

Very nice lunch experience today. Travelling through (not local) and needed somewhere for lunch (kid friendly) which had aircond (high 30s!). Served by a lovely staff member Pang who gave my toddler (and others) a little colouring book/stickers. I had a medium steak and old mate a burger. All made really well. Tables and atmosphere was pleasant. Thank you.

Usually good service but we were left waiting and wondering where our drinks were. Apparently the docket printer is broken.
Whats the point of having app ordering if it's not monitored and maintained? Maybe get a note added to the app telling patrons to order from the bar?

The staff, especially Joshua, was super nice and really went out of his way to help with anything and everything we asked. The meals, though not exactly what we ordered, were nevertheless excellent. It's quite a nice ambience as well. We'll definitely be back.

The girls at lunchtime are so friendly. I got there early and while waiting for my friends, the lovely girl behind the bar and I were chatting about our dogs. Very pleasant atmosphere

The food was average. We ordered a bowl of chips to start, and they arrived luke warm and unseasoned. I ordered the pie with mash, onion rings, with a side of coleslaw. The mash was warmish with a glue like texture, onion rings cold, and not seasoned. Pie filling was hot, but the pastry was not flakey or crisp like the pie had been heated in the microwave. Coleslaw was nothing special.
It is not ideal to let children run around in the restaurant, apart from being a health and safety concern, not very nice for other diners trying to have a nice quiet meal.
I don't recommend and i won't be returning.

Staff were somewhat friendly, bar staff ignorant, food was horrible. Daughters nuggets drenched in oil, ordered a medium cooked steak - im sure I heard it moo at least twice! And my husband almost choked on a peppercorn. Not impressed and will not be back anytime soon

Staff were friendly & upbeat. The meals were yummy, filling & the best dining place out of the previous four we've tried! We decided to sit outside because it was loud with kids & Friday afternoon/evening drinker's inside; would definitely go back!

Nice and neat but nothing too special. Staff was nice and helpful. Had Ceasar salad as lunch option. Have had better ones

My husband and I just had a lovely lunch here today. Service is excellent. Served by Gabby, Chrystel and Bianca who are so lovely. Thank you guys for making coming to The Chatty so enjoyable. Though not today as they were not here but Harrison Quinton and Shinita also make you feel so at home.

My family and I decided to stop here for lunch before heading the the the nearby shopping mall. 2 of us ordered the 250g rump steak and the other ordered the King avocado schnitzel. The service was great and the food was delicious. The James Squire beer on tap was a welcome addition also!

Mixed grill is a heck of a meal! I was starving, and seeing all those breakfast options was exactly what I wanted, and it hit the spot perfectly. Chips were nice and crispy but still fresh, steak was actually quite decent. Service was lovely, and midweek it wasnt too busy so not too noisy

Lovely dinner tonight. The place is fabulous and clean. Incredible service from James whom I believe is the manager, he was accomodating and assuring. The food was great. Serving sizes was good. Ordered the pork ribs which was phenomenal. The staff are very welcoming. Will definitely be coming back here.

I ordered 200g Rump Steak medium rare and no chips. It arrived with chips and Rump was only medium rare in the very middle. It was very dry😏 Have had better there. Friends were disappointed also with the slow cooked pie. It doesn't come with a side of relish like it use to😏

I had booked a table of 11 people online earlier that day and we arrived an hour earlier than the time I'd booked. The staff were fabulous and quickly got our table ready, making us feel welcome. Not once were we made to feel like a bother. Staff member, Hope, went above and beyond to settle our group in, excellent customer srrvice. All meals were great and served in a timely manner.

Had a great lunch today! $15 lunches are nice touch and great value for your money. The staff were really lovely as well.

Great tavern with a nice kids area. You can watch the kids play via a TV screen in the dining area or through the glass windows.
Although there is a nice slide, tv and an arcade machine it feels like the kids play area could offer more. The food was great and served in good time.

Great little spot for a beer with mates . Typical pub food, but good with a few on board. You can watch your fights here if that floats your boat . The pricing is quite reasonable , and their staff are very pleasant also . This is a good place to have a family dinner if you are looking for something more traditional 😋

Food was lovely. Staff are fantastic and friendly. The food came out very fast and the staff make your night enjoyable. Joshua is a very lovely guy who makes sure everything is perfect 👍.

Food was lovely. Bianca at the bar was wonderful and her recommendations were fabulous. Too bad the young floor staff were a bit sloppy and the food (which was lovely) took a long long time. Otherwise very nice.

Food is not bad but wouldn't go again on a weekend or when busy. Ordered 2 pizzas,they only had one base left then made the wrong pizza. The so called Cajun wings had no flavour or spice at all and the gravy was small and very watery and changed $3 extra. Unless you get the ALH discount it's definitely not worth paying full price here.

👍🏻 Convenient location in Chatswood hills shopping centre. Quiet ambient, spacious seating. Reasonable pricing.
😓Not much table service, everything order at the front counter. Waited around ONE HOUR for the food to come when there was not much customers in the restaurant. They don’t provide any takeaway containers - was asked to go next door to the Thai restaurant to get one for 50c.
🍽️ Recommend the chicken wings, one of the most delicious ones around the area.

Chose to try here after the wonderful reviews regarding service and food but unfortunately we did not get the same experience. Firstly instead of being greeted at the front where the please wait sign is, we are yelled at from the bar “do you have a booking” first bad sign. We then do our order up at the bar and all seems fine until we are waiting 30,40,45 and 50 mins. At around 35 mins we ask for an ETA and get told another 5 minutes, which turned into 15… I understand when a restaurant is full of people and there is a wait that’s fine but when it’s more then half empty and tables who walk in after you get their food first it definitely leaves a bad taste in your mouth. We got some sort of sorry when our food came but no explanation as to why it took and no offers to rectify this. Wish we could have gotten the service other reviews speak highly of.

Cheap food, high quality. Lovely staff, they make you feel right at home. Quinton and Gabby were a hoot and excellent hosts. The atmosphere and décor is sharp and modernist. An amazing tavern, 5/5 stars.

Came here for the desert. I have to say that the Warm Chocolate Brownie and the Sticky Date Pudding is pretty good. I have a sweet tooth so the Lemon Tart was a little sour for my liking.

Amazing food!! Love coming here with family… Daniel was great!! Excellent customer service and we had a great chat, thanks Daniel for making our visit so enjoyable :)
