Went for the champions league final. The setting was amazing and the staff very efficient. Will definitely go again if my team advance to the finals!!

We had a Rump Steak, Chicken Schnitzel and a Soft crab burger.
The Chicken Schnitzel was so bland and tasteless even with the mushroom sauce, which was super watery. Tasted bad.
Rump steak was super chewy and gravy was watery too.
Soft crab burger took ages to come out but was overall fine.
Went a few times to this place a few months ago but this last visit was just not good

Wanted mocktail but they didn't have.
Service was minimal and atmosphere was alright.

This is a wonderful sports bar in the heart of Sydney. Only a 7 minute walk from my hotel, I found this place when I was looking for somewhere to watch the NFL playoffs.They have big screens with live sports and really good food. I had a delicious chicken schnitzel dinner and it was huge! 2 sides included. I had chips and a salad. I will always head to Cheers whenever I'm in Sydney. Pleasant employees will always treat you right.

The worst restaurant/pub in the city I've ever been to. We ordered a chicken schnitzel, an Indonesian dish, and pork bites. We waited almost an hour for the food and were not even offered water. The Indonesian dish tasted off, and the chicken schnitzel was too oily. Terrible service. I won't be dining here again. Bad food, long time waiting and overpriced!

The place were cozy, great ambiance, a bit intense on their sound system but was a good one though. We ordered Rump steak Medium rare and Chicken wings in buffalo sauce however it came a bit longer than expected although it was not so busy! The steak served medium well though but the wings was perfectly fine. Good place to visit and we’ll definitely come back.

Serene tranquil euphoric calming beautiful a religious experience with fantastic pleasant lovely staff great Guinness when I die my ashes shall b sprinkled all over he place yippee

Recently moved to Sydney. Big Manchester City fans. Went to the bar to ask about it being the main bar to watch City games. Asked the short guy with the ginger beard on the door if this was the place - his reply was 'no stay away'. Lady staff member shouts at him to stop as she confirms this is the bar for Man City fans. He insists 'no - not for you'. I get suspicious - 'who do you support?' He says 'I don't watch that game as I'm not gay'.
I walk away - no way am I going to go to this bar to watch the City games - I'm going to report it to the supporters club at Man City with a view to organising another venue for City fans to watch the matches in Sydney. That's half a dozen of us boycotting this bar to start with.

Really cool sports bar with large food selection, decent draft beers, a full bar, and lots of space. They have an inside area with an upstairs so you have plenty of room with friends.
They have a small outside area if you want some fresh air, big tvs, and very friendly staff. It's our first time in Australia and this place was a great start.

Place is good, the pizza as well and they have Guiness beer. Only issue here its always is too busy and crowded dont go if would you like to stay chill out cause its too noisy and youll couldnt talk

Oh sorry bar is closed for patrons entering the venue but is open for friends of the bar despite them showing signs of intox, “we’re friends of Vanessa”
But then she lets them in , refuses entry to everybody else and then blatantly lies to your face saying they are staff members.
Uphold the venues policies or at least don’t lie to peoples faces.
What a joke.

Nice Sports Bar and Grill! Had the Parmi special on Thursday and you get a lot of food for your money (see picture)! Service was nice. Bar has inside and outside seating! Lots of TVs as it should be in a sports bar! I posted a recent menu to check out. Recommended & would come back!

Massive 5/5 for the Cheers Bar.
Spent a lot of time here over the weekend. Awesome food, service and drinks.
All reasonably priced too which was nice.
Heaps of TVs to watch all of the sport on. Can't fault it

Majority of bar staff gave off an attitude of not wanting to be there, friendly service was reserved for regulars. There was 1 exception, I didn't get her name but was the older Australian bartender who was friendly & welcoming.
Ordered the rump steak & Mexican parmy, steak was coated in some sort of pepper seasoning, completely over powered the flavour, was also under cooked (ordered medium, was closer to rare), chips tasted like cooked in old oil that needed changed. Parmy was cooked well but way too much topping vs size of chicken schnitzel.
Definitely better sports bar options in CBD.

Interesting sports bar that shows a variety of sports, and has a good variety of dishes in their menu to suit most tastes. Relaxed atmosphere, good place to hang out & catch a game. +1 for having Guinness on tap. They get a very international crowd as well.

i'm the royal customers at cheers for very long time spend a of lots money in VIP lough for a while because there are non-smoking area here. But presently I don't know why there haven't non-smoking area for people who don't like smoking anymore. I use to love here and come here all the time. hope u get our feedback and improve thanks

Had one of the worst experiences here. The organizer of the events usually makes false accusations and points fingers without any reason or explanation just so he can harras you. Having seen that happen multiple times with multiple people I start to wonder if this is a dangerous place or not

Had an amazing experience here whiling watching games, super friendly staffs and good food! Great amount of beers on tap and they also do a decent Guinness pour. Will definitely come back again.

Great sports bar, had the Scotch Fillet tonight, it was cooked perfectly (medium rare) , friendly service and large screens showing sports

Great place to watch the UFC. The food was only ok. The staff doesn't seem to excited to have people there, but overall decent service.

Great place to watch sports. Very accessible screens. Very tasty pub food. Very prompt service on the bar and floor. Very clean restrooms! Very communal feeling no matter who you're cheering for. Very impressed.

Good sports bar, has a decent variety of beer and serves pints.
Food was average. Service was excellent.
Get in early for a good seat as it fills up quickly.

Cheers has been a major pit stop for many of us over the years and through it’s temporary evolution of the 80 Proof spinoff, we rediscovered a great underground venue space that hosts a lineup of entertainment from stand up comedy to hip hop crew dance-offs to corporate functions. So it’s nice that it goes back to basics with what we loved most about it - Sport, Entertainment and Hearty food. Currently there is a streak of Asian in some of the dishes which makes sense, but all our old faves are still there.
THE HAWKER PLATE is a mixed grill of pork belly slices and southern fried chicken. Its a great example of how it’s menu has streaks of Asian influence through it, as it shares the board with Thai/Malaysian street style peanut sauced Satay Chicken sticks - a welcome addition.
THE VERMICELLI NOODLE SALAD takes you Vietname with the crunch from the bean sprouts and kick of slight chill and coriander with battered sliced fish through it!
Mate had the NY BURGER: (Quote) "I went the double bacon cheeseburger and wasn't dissapointed. Not my preferred cheddar, prefer the American, but the beef and bacon were good. Bun was soft. Again, my dislike of sweet caramelised onions on a beef burger was apparent to me. Chips although basic were well seasoned.” - I love caramelized onion so this burger would have been up my alley, but I was very pleased with my choice!
Lucky enough to be served by the manager himself, Mark and very personable character with superfast delivery times from the (I peered in) small kitchen! It’s like magic I tell ya!!!
This isn’t just for NRL, EPL, UFC fans as there’s a great mix of sports lovers, carefree and corporates that come through setting a really relaxed and funky vibe to the place!

Cheers Bar has a very rugged but cosy atmosphere. Staying true to their appearance, their Chicken Parmas are classic pub grub. Priced at under $20 each, theyre a good alternate way to fill up in the CBD. Freshly made and huge portions. You won't be disappointed!

Came to Sydney not knowing where to eat, found Cheers and thought it was a good option. Hands down best steak I’ve ever had, atmosphere was amazing and had a great night with mates. 100% Will be returning here every time I’m in Sydney.

Came from Perth for 10 days. Decided it was gonna be our drinking hole. Kudos to Vanessa and the staff for making us feel so welcome. Had an abso blast every night.
