We have been here a few times for dinner. The food is always really nice. The staff are friendly. Never have to wait long. The interior has had a refurb and it looks great. Seats are comfy.

Staff member who opened Tavern at 10am today (Monday) was rude and abrupt. She provided very poor service and is a poor face for the Tavern and TAB. She gave me a brochure rather then a claim form . I phoned TAB Vic who advised I should have been given a claim form.
A frequent customer in the Tavern said she is always sour and wished me good luck

Really love the service here, pleasant and quick. Great outlook for a morning brunch, a good choice to catch up, or just find a quiet spot to relax after shopping.

One of the most important things with eating out is your first contact with the venue. Staff. Happy to say that the staff here were very friendly and helpful and attentive. It made a good meal even better. Nachos were up there with the best. So tasty. And the full rib was as ever, a plentiful amount of meat and great flavour. Yes, we will be back here.

My daughter rain and I decided to come out to lunch it's a great place to go when we went there it was nice and quiet my daughter can't do loud so it was really good and my daughter was so happy one of your wait staff liked her shirt

I wanted to share my experience at Charmside Tavern. I've visited more than seven times with my resident, and until today, they've never asked for the seniors card when ordering the seniors steak. It was uncomfortable having to show the card, especially as my resident is in a wheelchair. I had to literally point out to my resident to prove that he is senior citizen. While I have no complaints about the food, the inconsistency in enforcing the policy made the experience less enjoyable, considering we are paying for the food.

I ordered the beef burger with fries it was fastly served and was nice and hot! Tasty and a real classic. Would recommend. There just wasn't many fries so that was disappointing. Great service and friendly staff.

I had an absolute surprise on Saturday when we dropped into Chermside Tavern. I received the warmest welcome from the Tavern's manager. Her genuine friendly smile can not be missed. Once I was greeted, I recognised her to be Anna from Nudgee Tavern. I didn't think Chermside Tavern could get any better with The Man Jay there. Jay is always so welcoming and friendly, Jay is a skilled mixologist who can create drinks that taste and look like a million dollars. This Tavern was already 8/10 before Anna, kudos to Chermside for hiring Anna as manager. Now Chermside is 10/10. The team is always happy for your visits. They are always ready to make your day a little better. We are not big spenders. Most of the time, my client only wants to order bread and pita chips with 3 dips. Not once were we ever made to feel unwelcome, even when the lunch menu had not yet started. The staff is always happy to help, as they know my client has difficulty understanding restaurants have set times for their breakfast, lunch, and dinner menus. It's always a great feeling when a restaurant is willing to turn a difficult situation into something positive. This is my client's statement she made today while we were there: "I feel so happy every time we come here, I think everyone here loves me. Do you know why they love me? " Now, that's priceless.
I highly recommend Chermside Tavern.

Now, my suggestion: Anna needs to go to Nudgee Tavern and train their staff (mainly the event manager) on the act of smiling. The act of passion, the act of friendliness, nothing improves over at Nudgee. I don't know how two Taverns can be such polar opposites.

Handy spot when the wife is shopping. Straightforward pub that you can get a meal which is a set up from the food court. Service was quick for food but not so via table app for drinks. Will visit again.

Had quick bite for lunch during shopping tour. Very, very pleasant service. Table was cleaned for us (even that it was clean to begin with!) with few friendly words to go along. Service quick and again, few friendly words along. Food good, no issues at all.
Atmosphere a bit impersonal, specially inside, outside few nice tables.

Great tavern you definitely get what you pay for had a lovely steak chips and salad so much food on my plate not like other pubs I think i will make this my local now !

Great place to catch up with friends in a casual atmosphere. The staff were friendly and professional. Really enjoyed the food as it was well presented.

Great experience here yesterday. Karleigh (Covid Marshall) was more than helpful :) Food was fine, could do with more chips per meal. And possibly have the parsley cut already but besides that, good job. Loved the wine as well.

Friend and I walked in to have lunch there. Was waiting at the bar for a little awhile to ask if there were any tables for two. Woman with blonde hair comes over and I ask calmly on the question if we could eat. I am not certain if she misunderstood me but she decided to berate my friend and I saying we must have IDs to eat in at a pub.
I didn't have my ID on me as I've never had that issue? We weren't planning on buying alcohol. I finally correct her and say we should be able to eat in without them. Explaining I'm 23 when she was treating me like a child.
After which, she goes, oh yeah we can serve you food 'this time' but just have ID on in the future. We walked out and went to Grill'D outside which was also serving alcohol.
Extremely rude with an attitude, very unfortunate. I was rather looking forward to the food. Won't be coming back and my friend thought the same. Almost like she didn't want our buisness.
Clearly the shirt I was wearing saying 'Number of the beer' implied I was an adult and not a child.

Food was good, well cooked. The beef nachos was great and yummy. Ambiance was nice and relaxing. One of the older female staff didn't seem very friendly, the rest of them were nice.

Food is so tasty! Pretty quick turn around in service too! The reason the photo of the food is almost finished is testimony of how good it was. We got "Bangers and mash" and the "250g rump steak with chips n salad". Sat outside and enjoyed the warmth. Pretty cruisy way to finish a day of shopping with a refreshing coldie and a solid meal.

Classy Bar and restaurant. Food and drinks are so good been here twice and up to more visits soon. Thank you and I highly recommend Chermside Tavern, staffs are great too.

Big brekkie so wonderful and have reasonable price! I also like the atmosphere here. I will come here next time to try other meal. I highly recommend come here with your friends for a chill weekend!!!

A very average experience. Food court atmosphere, average food - but with beer 🍺. Wouldn’t plan to go here, but if you want fast food with a beer - and you’re passing by - then check it out.
